bodycote researchers have successfully demonstrated that a T6 heat treatment can be integrated with Densal?, a proprietary, aluminum specific, hot isostatic pressing (HIP) process. In this combined operation, at least a portion of the solution heat treatment is conducted at elevated pressure. During development, two issues, adiabatic cooling during depressurization and a possible variation in the kinetics of homogenization resulting from conducting the solution heat treat at elevated pressure were perceived as factors which could alter the heat treat response from that seen in conventional processing. This paper reviews the results of experiments performed to Al-Si-Mg (A356.0) castings subjected to both combined and conventional processing routes. Results indicate that the combined HIP and heat treat process is an efficient means of achieving a microstructure characteristic of a conventionally T6 processed material while eliminating porosity within the casting. Further, the fatigue life of an A356.0 casting processed using the combined cycle can be improved by more than an order of magnitude over the as-cast and T6 treated component.

AIM To provide an overview of the current research in the functional neuroanatomy of panic *** Panic disorder(PD) is a frequent psychiatric disease. Gorman et al(1989; 2000) proposed a comprehensive neuroanatomical model of PD, which suggested that fear-and anxiety-related responses are mediated by a so-called "fear network" which is centered in the amygdala and includes the hippocampus, thalamus, hypothalamus, periaqueductal gray region, locus coeruleus and other brainstem sites. We performed a systematic search by the electronic database PubMed. Thereby, the main focus was laid on recent neurofunctional, neurostructural, and neurochemical studies(from the period between January 2012 and April 2016). Within this frame, special attention was given to the emerging field of imaging genetics. RESULTS We noted that many neuroimaging studies have reinforced the role of the "fear network" regions in the pathophysiology of panic disorder. However, recent functional studies suggest abnormal activation mainly in an extended fear network comprising brainstem, anterior and midcingulate cortex(ACC and MCC), insula, and lateral as well as medial parts of the prefrontal cortex. Interestingly, differences in the amygdala activation were not as consistently reported as one would predict from the hypothesis of Gorman et al(2000). Indeed, amygdala hyperactivation seems to strongly depend on stimuli and experimental paradigms, sample heterogeneity and size, as well as on limitations of neuroimaging techniques. Advanced neurochemical studies have substantiated the major role of serotonergic, noradrenergic and glutamatergic neurotransmission in the pathophysiology of PD. However, alterations of GABAergic function in PD are still a matter of debate and also their specificity remains questionable. A promising new research approach is "imaging genetics". The aim of this paper is to understand the common characteristics of the generalized flyby trajectory around natural elongated bodies. Such flyby trajectories provide a short-term mechanism to clear away vicinal objects or temporally capture ejecta into circling orbits. The gravitational potential of elongated bodies is described by a unified approximate model, i.e., the rotating mass dipole which is two point masses connected with a constant massless rod The energy power is used to illustrate the flyby effect in terms of the instantaneous orbital energy. The essential of the single flyby trajectory is studied analytically, and the relationship between the flyby trajectory and its Jacobi integral is also illustrated. Sample trajectories are given to show the variational trend of the energy increment with respect to differen orbital periapsides. The distribution of natural ejecting orbits is presented by varying the parameters of the approximate model.

We report an unusual manifestation of nontuberculous mycobacterial infection characterized by a giant bursitis on wrist and multiple tenosynovitis with many rice bodies formations. The clinical and radiological examinations are neither rather sensitive nor rather specific. The nuclear imagery of rice bodies formations provides elements of guidance. Cause of absence of the germ isolation, diagnosis was retained on probability items based on a suspicion of arguments beam: clinical, biological, bacteriological and histological. The patient was treated with medical and surgical procedure and provided a satisfactory evolution. At follow-up of 15 months, there were no clinical signs of local recurrence. Through a literature review, the problem of diagnosis of certainty will be discussed.

Aims: To determine the prevalence and risk factors of heartburn in Abidjan, a black African city. Patients and Methods: cross-sectional study from June 15 to September 30, 2003. One thousand nine hundred forty (1940) persons from five health zones of the city Abidjan were included after their informed consent. Socio demographic and clinical parameters were collected using a questionnaire in an interview format. Heartburn was defined as a discomfort or burning sensation extending from the sternal manubrium to the base of the neck. Factors related to the complaint were asked such as predisposing factors, habits (tobacco, alcohol and coffee intake) and body mass index. Stepwise multiple logistic regression analyses were used to examine associations between these factors and heartburn. Results: Among 1940 respondents (mean age 28 ± 9 years;sex ratio (M:F) 0.86), heartburn occurred in 433 persons (once a week in 9.2% of case (178 persons)). Five factors were statistically associated with heartburn: male sex (p = 0.025, OR = 0.555 [CI95% 0.331 - 0.930]), heartburn in a family member (p = 0.010, OR = 1.765 [95%CI 1.143 - 2.725]), constipation (p = 0.011, OR = 2.182 [95%CI 11,953,983]), right lateral decubitus (p = 0.001, OR = 6.247 [95%CI 2.079 - 18.775]) and after a meal (p = 0.000, OR = 2.643 [95%CI 1.594 4.383]). Conclusion: Heartburn is common in this black African population. Male sex appears to be less associated. Constipation, right lateral decubitus and after a meal are trigger factors for heartburn. Heartburn in a family member is a risk factor.

Objectives: To describe our management strategy of ovulation disorders. Patients and methods: From a retrospective collection of data from the records, we identified over a period of one year (January 2016-December 2016), 47 patients followed in gynecology department of University and Hospital Centers of Yopougon and Treichville in Abidjan (cote d’Ivoire) for ovulation disorders. The diagnosis of dysovulation was made following a hormonal check up and a follicular monitoring ultrasound. These patients underwent a specific treatment according to the type of dysovulation they presented. Results: The average age was 31.9 years with a significant proportion of nulliparous (66%). body mass index was high in 44.7% of patients, of whom 19.1% were obese and 25.6% overweight. The hormonal balance was disrupted in 48.9% of cases. Polycystic ovary syndrome (WHO type IIb dysovulation) was the most common pathology (36%). The proposed treatments were dominated by clomiphene citrate (31.9%) and gonadotrophins (25.5%). 14.9% of pregnancies were obtained. Conclusion: This study allows us to offer better management of ovulation disorders, but this necessarily entails a careful exploration and an appropriate treatment.

Chitin deacetylases(CDAs,including CDAI and CDA2)are considered key enzymes for body cuticle formation and tracheal morphogenesis in various insect ***,their functions in the formation of the cuticular intima of the foregut and hindgut are ***,we investigated the roles of their respective genes LmCDAI and Lm-CD42 in this process,in the hemimetabolous insect Locusta *** of LmCDAI and LmCDA2 were highly expressed both before and after molting in the *** the hindgut,their expression was high only before *** both the foregut and hindgut,LmCDA1 protein was localized in the basal half of the chitin matrix(procuti-cle),whereas LmCDA2 was detected in the upper half of the procuticle.K nockdown of LmCDAI by RNA interference(RNAi)in 5th-instar nymphs caused no visible defcts of the hindgut *** contrast,the chitinous lamellae of the cuticular intima in the foregut of knockdown animals were less compact than in control *** against LmCDA2 led to thickening of both the foregut and hindgut cuticles,with a greater number of thinner laminae than in the respective control *** together,our results show that LmCDAI and LmCDA2 have distinct,but overlapping,functions in chitin organization in the foregut ***,in the hindgut,this process seems independent of LmCDA1 activity but requires LmCDA2 ***,the CDAs reflect tissue-specific differences in cuticular organization and function,which need further detailed molecular and histological analyses for full comprehension.
