The primary challenge of the contemporary world is to meet accelerating requirements for *** land,competition between crop and livestock farming and climate change are major *** offer a form of sustainable agriculture through the direct provision of food by raising farmers’incomes and through various ecosystem *** first essential step in adopting agroforestry is the selection of appropriate tree species that fit local *** this paper,we mapped 20 fodder trees and important crops in China using the multi-model ensemble and Ecocrop modelling *** on the intersectional concept of set theory,the fuzzy logic technique was applied to identify regions where candidate trees could be grown with appropriate crops and *** resulting models provide important insights into the climatic suitability of trees and crops and offer knowledge critical to the proper integration of trees with crops and livestock at specific *** results offer support for developing appropriate strategies regarding potential land-use within agroforestry systems in order to maximize ecosystem services and the benefits of sustainable *** outputs could easily convert into conventional maps with clearly defined boundaries for site-specific planning for tree-crop-livestock *** next step for actualizing an integrated system is to investigate specifically what these different species may contribute to the existing farming systems,quantify the benefits and estimate any possible tradeoffs.

植被图是生物多样性保护、生态学研究、植被管理与恢复和国家决策的重要辅助信息源.我国上一代植被图,即中国植被图(1:1000000),是由逾250位生态学家组成的团队自20世纪80年代花了20多年完成的.但是,随着过去30多年间的快速发展,我国的植被分布与植被类型发生了剧烈的变化,对上一代植被图进行现实性更新已成为迫在眉睫的需求.本文使用了一种"众源采集—变化检测—遥感分类—专家审核"的策略尝试对中国植被图(1:1000000)进行现实性更新.本研究共收集了203024条地面调查数据,并有50余位植被生态学家参与到专家审核的工作中.更新后的植被图包含12个植被型组、55个植被(亚)型和866个(亚)群系类别,精度在植被型组、植被(亚)型和(亚)群系水平上分别为64.8%, 61%和40%.与上一代植被图相比,过去30多年间的人类活动和气候变化导致了我国约330万km2植被类型发生了变化.更新后的植被图将会有助于理解和管理我国的陆地生态系统.

Plant pathogenic fungi are a large and diverse assemblage of eukaryotes with substantial impacts on natural ecosystems and human *** taxa often have complex and poorly understood life cycles,lack observable,discriminatory morphological characters,and may not be amenable to in vitro *** a result,species identification is frequently ***(DNA sequence)data have emerged as crucial information for the taxonomic identification of plant pathogenic fungi,with the nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer(ITS)region being the most popular ***,international nucleotide sequence databases are accumulating numerous sequences of compromised or low-resolution taxonomic annotations and substandard technical quality,making their use in the molecular identification of plant pathogenic fungi *** we report on a concerted effort to identify high-quality reference sequences for various plant pathogenic fungi and to re-annotate incorrectly or insufficiently annotated public ITS sequences from these fungal lineages.A third objective was to enrich the sequences with geographical and ecological *** results-a total of 31,954 changes-are incorporated in and made available through the UNITE database for molecular identification of fungi(http://***),including standalone FASTA files of sequence data for local BLAST searches,use in the next-generation sequencing analysis platforms QIIME and mothur,and related *** present initiative is just a beginning to cover the wide spectrum of plant pathogenic fungi,and we invite all researchers with pertinent expertise to join the annotation effort.

Background:Although programmed cell death 1(PD-1)blockade plus chemotherapy can significantly prolong the progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)in first-line settings in patients with driver-negative advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC),the predictive biomarkers remain ***,we investigated the predictive value of tumor immune microenvironmental marker expression to characterize the response features to PD-1 blockade plus ***:Tumor tissue samples at baseline were prospectively collected from 144 locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC patients without driver gene alterations who received camrelizumab plus chemotherapy or chemotherapy *** immune microenvironmental markers,including PD-1 ligand(PDL1),CD8,CD68,CD4 and forkhead box P3,were assessed using multiplex immunofluorescence(mIF)***-Meier curveswere used to determine treatment outcome differences according to their expression *** profiles were compared between tumors with distinct expression levels of these markers and their ***:Responders had significantly higher CD8/PD-L1(P=0.015)or CD68/PD-L1 co-expression levels(P=0.021)than non-responders in the camrelizumab plus chemotherapy group,while no difference was observed in the chemotherapy *** with high CD8/PD-L1 or CD68/PD-L1 co-expression level was associated with significantly longer PFS(P=0.002,P=0.024;respectively)and OS(P=0.006,P=0.026;respectively)than those with low co-expression in camrelizumab plus chemotherapy *** comparing survival in the camrelizumab plus chemotherapy with chemotherapy by CD8/PD-L1 co-expression stratification,significantly better PFS(P=0.003)and OS(P=0.032)were observed in high co-expression *** predictive value of CD8/PD-L1 and CD68/PD-L1 co-expression remained statistically significant for PFS and OS when adjusting clinicopathological *** the prevalence of TP53 or KRAS mutations was similar bet

The cryptic lifestyle of most fungi necessitates molecular identification of the guild in environmental *** the past decades,rapid development and affordability of molecular tools have tremendously improved insights of the fungal diversity in all ecosystems and ***,in spite of the progress of molecular methods,knowledge about functional properties of the fungal taxa is vague and interpretation of environmental studies in an ecologically meaningful manner remains *** order to facilitate functional assignments and ecological interpretation of environmental studies we introduce a user friendly traits and character database FungalTraits operating at genus and species hypothesis *** the information from previous efforts such as FUNGuild and FunFun together with involvement of expert knowledge,we reannotated 10,210 and 151 fungal and Stramenopila genera,*** resulted in a stand-alone spreadsheet dataset covering 17 lifestyle related traits of fungal and Stramenopila genera,designed for rapid functional assignments of environmental *** order to assign the trait states to fungal species hypotheses,the scientific community of experts manually categorised and assigned available trait information to 697,413 fungal ITS *** the basis of those sequences we were able to summarise trait and host information into 92,623 fungal species hypotheses at 1%dissimilarity threshold.

This paper is the second in a series focused on providing a stable platform for the taxonomy of phytopathogenic *** focuses on 25 phytopathogenic genera:Alternaria,Bipolaris,Boeremia,Botryosphaeria,Calonectria,Coniella,Corticiaceae,Curvularia,Elsinoe,Entyloma,Erythricium,Fomitiporia,Fulviformes,Laetisaria,Limonomyces,Neofabraea,Neofusicoccum,Phaeoacremonium,Phellinotus,Phyllosticta,Plenodomus,Pseudopyricularia,Tilletia,Venturia and Waitea,using recent molecular data,up to date names and the latest taxonomic *** each genus a taxonomic background,diversity aspects,species identification and classification based on molecular phylogeny and recommended genetic markers are *** this study,varieties of the genus Boeremia have been elevated to species ***,Bipolaris,Curvularia,Neofusicoccum and Phyllosticta that were included in the One Stop Shop 1 paper are provided with updated entries,as many new species have been introduced to these genera.

The Basidiomycota constitutes a major phylum of the kingdom Fungi and is second in species numbers to the *** present work provides an overview of all validly published,currently used basidiomycete genera to date in a single *** outline of all genera of Basidiomycota is provided,which includes 1928 currently used genera names,with 1263 synonyms,which are distributed in 241 families,68 orders,18 classes and four *** provide brief notes for each accepted genus including information on classification,number of accepted species,type species,life mode,habitat,distribution,and sequence ***,three phylogenetic analyses with combined LSU,SSU,5.8s,rpb1,rpb2,and ef1 datasets for the subphyla Agaricomycotina,Pucciniomycotina and Ustilaginomycotina are conducted,*** time estimates are provided to the family level with 632 species from 62 orders,168 families and 605 *** study indicates that the divergence times of the subphyla in Basidiomycota are 406-430 Mya,classes are 211-383 Mya,and orders are 99-323 Mya,which are largely consistent with previous *** this study,all phylogenetically supported families were dated,with the families of Agaricomycotina diverging from 27-178 Mya,Pucciniomycotina from 85-222 Mya,and Ustilaginomycotina from 79-177 *** times as additional criterion in ranking provide additional evidence to resolve taxonomic problems in the Basidiomycota taxonomic system,and also provide a better understanding of their phylogeny and evolution.
