An all-dielectr.c fishnet metamaterial(DFM) composed ofmultilayer dielectr.c structure with periodically patterned holes is proposed to generate left-handed behavior in optical frequency *** from the metallic fishnet negative index metamaterial realized by coupling the neighbouring functional layersalong the propagation direction,this DFM owes its simultaneous negative permeability and permittivity to the hybrid coupled res.nances in the same *** on this configration,a wide-band and polarization-independent negative refraction with maximumfigure of merit as large as 13.85 is obtained by a silicon-based DFM at 450 nm *** and easy to fabricate,this concept is believed to provide an alternative route to realize high-performance negative index metamateirals at optical frequencies.

The pres.nt work describes an ultrasonic assisted in-situ dynamic inverse emulsion polymerization process of aniline(ANI) in the pres.nce of organic palygorskite(OPGS) in ***-shell structure of electr.cally conducting polymerized ANI(PANI) combined with OPGS was prepared by utilizing the *** acid(DBSA)was used as the dopant and *** OPGSwas obtained via the chemical reaction of pretreated palygorskite with hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(HTAB).The prepared PANI/OPGS composite was characterized by FT-IR,UV-Vis,XRD,TGA and *** addition,the conductivity was evaluated at different ANI/OPGS weight *** the ANI/OPGS weight ratio increased to 2:7,the conductivity of the composite still remained at 10 S/m at room *** res.lts demonstrated that ultrasonic assisted dynamic inverse emulsion would be an excellent polymerization technique to increasethe conductivity and the polymerization rate.

Firstly,density functional calculation was employed to evaluate the electr.nic structure of graphene/TiO(100) *** res.lts demonstrated that lattice mismatch between graphene and the titania surface brought about apparent modification to the crystal s tructure and electr.nic structure of ***,graphene adsorbed with several different adatoms were combined with the titania *** effects of the adatoms on the electr.nic structure and electr.n transition characteristic of the complex of adatom/graphene/TiO(100) were *** res.lts indicated that the adatoms of B and Al shifted the DOS minimum of graphene to the lower energy side of the Fermi level while N,S,F,Pt and Au caused the opposite *** adatoms of Pd,Cr and Mn exhibited no obvious effect on the electr.n transition characteristic of the composite but effectively introduced midgap *** res.lts demonstrated that adatom/graphene/titania hybrid composite would exhibit excellent potential for photocatalytic application.

The sol-gel process was employed to prepare(PbLa)(ZrTi)O(PLZT) ceramics with nominal composition PbLa(Zr/Ti)*** and physical properties such as dielectr.c,piezoelectr.c and ferroelectr.c propertieswere *** diffraction res.lts showed that the perovskite phasePLZT was formed when the sol-gel processed powders was calcined at 600℃ for 4 ***-crystalline particles with a size of 0nm were ***-DTA studies were used to analyze the thermal properties of nano-powders for understanding the reaction kinetics in *** bulk ceramic samples prepared from the sol-gel derived powders were subjected to electr.cal measurements,in order todetermine the dielectr.c,piezoelectr.c and ferroelectr.c *** dielectr.c properties of the PLZT-BST system are further improved and the dielectr.c piezoelectr.c properties of PLZT ceramics are found to be sensitive to the particle size of PLZT *** dielectr.c piezoelectr.c properties of polarized PLZT ceramics can be improved with the lessening of PLZT nanopowder ***,the grain size of PLZT ceramics decreases.

Cu doped NiCuZn ferrite NiCuZnFeO(x =0.16-0.28) have been prepared by the solid-molten salt method using NaCl as *** structure and properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electr.n microscope(SEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) *** is found that addition of Cu res.lts in the particles size growing up because of the tend of crystal structure to be a normal Zn *** Ms values of NCZFare decrease gradually with increasing of Cu *** temperature(T) increases with Cu content in the range of x <0.20,and then decreasing *** can be ascribed to that the lower magnetization moment Cu ion amount of B-site increasing leads to weaker super-exchange effect.

Highly ordered TiO nanotube arrays(NTAs) modified with Pt nanoparticles(Pt/TiO NTAs)have been prepared by anodization of Ti foils followed by electr.chemical deposition and employed to improve the performance of the low-overpotential determination of HO in *** of TiO and Pt/TiO NTAs were observed by SEM and *** electr.chemical behaviors of TiO and Pt/TiO NTAs were compared by cyclic voltammograms(CVs) in phosphate buffer solutions in absence and prensence of 10 mM HO,which showed that Pt nanoparticles can enhance the electr.chemical activities of TiONTAs and achieve low-overpotential determination of *** method with an applied potential of-100 mV was used for HO detemination,which demonstrated a good HO sensing with sensitivity of5.4 μA-cm·mM.

The compound super absorbent res.n was synthesized by starch,bentonite,acrylic acid and acrylamide,using microwave *** key factors affecting the solution absorbency of the polymer such as the amount of bentonite,acrylamide,initiator and cross-linking agent have been *** res.lts showed that the optimal reaction conditions of cross-linking agent,initiator,neutralization degree,bentonite,phosphate starch are 0.045%,0.32%,70%,10%,3%when the weight ratio of acrylic acid and acrylamide was 2:1,the microwave power was 800 W,the radiation time was 15 *** the conditions,the pure water absorption rate of super absorbent res.n was up to 796g/*** the weight ratio of acrylic acid and acrylamide was 1:1,the absorption rate of 0.9%NaCl was 95g/g.

ReFeO type orthoferrites with the perovskite structure are important antiferromagnetic materials,which show antiferromagnetic res.nance and magnetic dipole radiation in the terahertz frequency *** this paper,the interaction between GdFeOceramic and terahertz magnetic field were investigated with a terahertz *** is shown that the GdFeO ceramic has remarkable absorption and emission at 0.61 THz and the permeability exhibits a res.nant phenomenon,which can be attributed to the quasi-antiferromagnetic *** is of significance in the developments of novel terahertz devices.
