Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a neurodegenerative disorder with motor deficits due to nigrostriatal dopamine depletion and with the non-motor/premotor symptoms(NMS)such as anxiety,cognitive dysfunction,depression,hyposmia,and sleep *** is presented in at least one-fifth of the patients with *** the histological information being investigated,stem cells are shown to provide neurotrophic supports and cellular replacement in the damaging brain areas under PD *** change of progressive PD includes degeneration and loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra of the *** current stem cell beneficial effect addresses dopamine boost for the striatal neurons and gliovascular mechanisms as competing for validated PD drug *** addition,there are clinical interventions for improving the patient’s NMS and targeting their autonomic dysfunction,dementia,mood disorders,or sleep *** our and many others’research using brain injury models,multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells demonstrate an additional and unique ability to alleviate depressive-like behaviors,independent of an accelerated motor *** delivery of the stem cells is discussed for it is extensively tested in rodent animal models of neurological and psychiatric *** this review,we attempt to discuss the repairing potentials of transplanted cells into parkinsonism pathological regions of motor deficits and focus on preventive and treatment *** new approaches in the PD biological therapy,it is believed that it can as well benefit patients against PD-NMS.

Flexible electronics has emerged as a continuously growing field of ***-dimensional(2D)materials often act as conductors and electrodes in elec-tronic devices,holding significant promise in the design of high-performance,flexible *** studies have focused on harnessing the potential of these materials for the development of such ***,to date,the incorporation of 2D materials in flexible electronics has rarely been summa-rized or ***,there is an urgent need to develop compre-hensive reviews for rapid updates on this evolving *** review covers progress in complex material architectures based on 2D materials,including interfaces,heterostructures,and 2D/polymer ***-ally,it explores flexible and wearable energy storage and conversion,display and touch technologies,and biomedical applications,together with integrated design *** the pursuit of high-performance and high-sensitivity instruments remains a primary objective,the integrated design of flexible electronics with 2D materials also warrants *** combin-ing multiple functionalities into a singular device,augmented by machine learning and algorithms,we can potentially surpass the performance of existing wearable ***,we briefly discuss the future trajectory of this burgeoning *** review discusses the recent advancements in flex-ible sensors made from 2D materials and their applications in integrated archi-tecture and device design.

Background:The Kato-Katz technique is recommended for the diagnosis of helminth infections in epidemiological surveys,drug efficacy studies and monitoring of control *** assessed the comparability of the average amount of faeces generated by three Kato-Katz templates included in test kits from two different ***:Nine hundred Kato-Katz thick smear preparations were done;300 per *** slides,slides plus Kato-Katz template filled with stool and slides plus stool after careful removal of the template were weighed to the nearest 0.1 *** average amount of stool that was generated on the slide was calculated for each template,stratified by standard categories of stool consistency(***,soft,sausage-shaped,hard and clumpy).Results:The average amount of stool generated on slides was 40.7 mg(95%confidence interval(CI):40.0–41.4 mg),40.3 mg(95%CI:39.7–40.9 mg)and 42.8 mg(95%CI:42.2–43.3 mg)for the standard Vestergaard Frandsen template,and two different templates from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention(China CDC),*** stool resulted in considerably lower average weights when the Vestergaard Frandsen(37.0 mg;95%CI:34.9–39.0 mg)or new China CDC templates(37.4 mg;95%CI:35.9–38.9 mg)were used,compared to the old China CDC template(42.2 mg;95%CI:40.7–43.7 mg)and compared to other stool consistency ***:The average amount of stool generated by three specific Kato-Katz templates was similar(40.3–42.8 mg).Since the multiplication factor is somewhat arbitrary and small changes only have little effect on infection intensity categories,it is suggested that the standard multiplication factor of 24 should be kept for the calculation of eggs per gram of faeces for all investigated templates.

Outbreaks of Monkeypox(mpox)in over 100 non-endemic countries in 2022 represented a serious global health *** a neglected disease,mpox has become a global public health issue.A42R profilinlike protein from mpox(PDB ID:4QWO)represents a potential new lead for drug development and may interact with various synthetic and natural *** this report,the interaction of A42R profilinlike protein with six phytochemicals found in the medicinal plant Ficus religiosa(abundant in India)was *** on the predicted and compared protein–ligand binding energies,biological properties,IC_(50) values and toxicity,two compounds,kaempferol(C-1)and piperine(C-4),were *** characteristics and quantitative structure–activity relationship(QSAR)of these two compounds were determined,and molecular dynamics(MD)simulations were *** silico examination of the kaempferol(C-1)and piperine(C-4)interactions with A42R profilin-like protein gave best-pose ligandbinding energies of–6.98 and–5.57 kcal/mol,*** predicted IC_(50) of C-1 was 7.63 lM and 82 lM for *** data indicated that kaempferol and piperine are non-mutagenic,and the QSAR data revealed that piperlongumine(5.92)and piperine(5.25)had higher log P values than the other compounds *** simulations of A42R profilin-like protein in complex with C-1 and C-4 were performed to examine the stability of the ligand–protein ***/C and C-4 showed the highest affinity and activities,they may be suitable lead candidates for developing mpox therapeutic *** study should facilitate discovering and synthesizing innovative therapeutics to address other infectious diseases.
