Perovskite light-emitting diodes(PeLEDs)exhibit remarkable potential in the field of displays and solidstate ***,blue PeLEDs,a key element for practical applications,still lag behind their green and red counterparts,due to a combination of strong nonradiative recombination losses and unoptimized device *** this report,we propose a buried interface modification strategy to address these challenges by focusing on the bottom-hole transport layer(HTL)of the *** the one hand,a multifunctional molecule,aminoacetic acid hydrochloride(AACl),is introduced to modify the HTL/perovskite interface to regulate the perovskite *** investigations and theoretical calculations demonstrate that AACl can effectively reduce the nonradiative recombination losses in bulk perovskites by suppressing the growth of low-n perovskite phases and also the losses at the bottom interface by passivating interfacial *** the other hand,a self-assembly nanomesh structure is ingeniously developed within the *** nanomesh structure is meticulously crafted through the blending of poly-(9,9-dioctyl-fluorene-co-N-(4-butyl phenyl)diphenylamine)and poly(n-vinyl carbazole),significantly enhancing the light outcoupling efficiency in *** a result,our blue PeLEDs achieve remarkable external quantum efficiencies,20.4%at 487 nm and 12.5%at 470 nm,which are among the highest reported *** results offer valuable insights and effective methods for achieving high-performance blue PeLEDs.

One of the main topics in population genetics is identification of adaptive selection among populations. For this purpose, population history should be correctly inferred to evaluate the effect of random drift and exclude it in selection identification. With the rapid progress in genomics in the past decade, vast genomescale variations are available for population genetic analysis, which however requires more sophisticated models to infer species' demographic history and robust methods to detect local adaptation. Here we aim to review what have been achieved in the fields of demographic modeling and selection detection. We summarize their rationales, implementations, and some classical applications. We also propose that some widely-used methods can be improved in both theoretical and practical aspects in near future.

Indian Giant Flying Squirrel(Petaurista philippensis Elliot 1839)is widely distributed in South Asia and the only species of flying squirrel found in *** studied the seasonal variation in its feeding behaviour at selected sites of Central *** sampling was employed to study the behaviours and mainly feeding *** analyses were consistent with other studies and indicated Madhuca longifolia as an important food *** diet of the species mainly consisted of pith,twig,seed,bark,petiole,young to mature leaves,flower and fruits of 20 species of plants of 15 families along with lichens,Vanda tessellata and Dendrophthoe *** longifolia(25%)contributed most to the squirrel diet,followed by Diospyros melanoxylon(10%)and Terminalia tomentosa(9%).Among the plant parts consumed,pith formed the highest bulk as a food at 23%,followed by fruits(21%),bark(16%),twig(14%),flower(10%),seed(6%),leaf(6%),and bud(4%).The findings reveal the high dependency of flying squirrel on certain tree *** tree species are well represented and distributed throughout central Gujarat,indicating that this area is important for the survival of this species and that the area should be conserved for protection and future management of this species.

For better understanding the chemical or biological information of ZNF191 （243-368）, we expressed the fusion protein of GST and ZNF191 （243-368）, and used it to obtain the binding DNA sequence of this zinc finger protein. But in the process of expression and purification, we found this fusion protein slowly degradated. For resolving this problem, we simultaneously added charged amino acids L-Arg and L-Glu to the solution of fusion protein, and demonstrated that this method can dramatically increase the stability of this fusion protein. This method can make the fusion protein suitable for the continuous works, especially for situations where high protein concentration and long-term stability without precipitate and degradation of protein are required.

The brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens St?l, has become a major threat in tropical Asian and China since the rice green revolution of the 1960 s. Currently, insecticide application remains the primary choice for controlling this rice insect pest, but heavy use of insecticides poses dangerous risks to beneficial natural enemies and pollinators, and stimulates N. lugens reproductivity, and has caused a resurgence of the pest in the major rice-planting regions throughout Asia. Achieving the long-lasting goal of sustainable management of N. lugens requires understanding of the molecular basis of outbreaks of the pest and the development of environment-friendly pest-control strategies. Here, we review the recent molecular advances in N. lugens research on the aspects of its endosymbionts, virus transmission, insecticide resistance, and interaction between N. lugens and rice plants. We also put forward further research directions that may shed some lights on management of the rice pest.

The isoform type ofγsubunits of GABAA receptor is a molecular determinant of its pharmacological characteristics. At present, the existence of GABAA receptor in mammalian sperm is still a controversy. By using degenerate primers designed according to highly conserved region in all threeγ(γ1, γ2 andγ3) subunits cloned in rat brain, we performed reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to examine the expression pattern of -γsubunits of GABAA receptor in rat testis. Only one 370 bp fragment was obtained from RT-PCR in rat testis and sequencing results showed that it representedγ1 subunit, but notγ2 orγ3 subunit. Using the cloned fragment as probe, a 3.8 kb transcript which in size as same asγ1 ubunit in rat brain was detected in rat testis mRNA by performing Northern blot assay. Furthermore, results of in situ hybridization assay confirmed thatγ1 subunit was expressed in round spermatids and spermatozoa, maybe also in secondary spermatocyte. These evidences proved that 71 subunit of GABAA receptor is exclusively expressed in rat testis and this feature may be the structural basis of the specific function of GABAA receptors in sperm acrosome reaction.
