Re-measuring Status of China＇s High-Tech Industries in International Division of Labor： Applying a Non-Competitive Input-Output Model

Based on a refined "non-competitive input-output model," this paper proposes a new framework for analyzing the status of a country's high-tech industries in the international division of labor, i.e. calculates the index of "weighted value-added productivity" by compiling non-competitive input-output tables which distinguish high-tech industries from traditional industries. The new method effectively avoids "statistical illusion" which stems from a biased focus on gross exports under intra-product specialization. The empirical study shows that since 1995, the status of China's high-tech industries has grown quickly as a result of enhanced labor productivity, but still lags behind those of major developed countries. In addition, the study also suggests that the status of China's high-tech industries has been over-estimated using the traditional gross export statistical method.

This paper presents analytical solutions for the stress and displacement field in elastic layered geo-materials induced by an arbitrary point load in the Cartesian coordinate system. The point load solutions can be obtained by referring to the integral transform and the transfer matrix technique. However, former solutions usually exist in the cylindrical coordinate system subjected, to axisymmetric loading. Based on the proposed solutions in the Cartesian coordinate, it is very easy to solve asymmetric problems and consider the condition with internal loads in multi-layered geo-materials. Moreover, point load solutions can be used to construct solutions for analytical examination of elastic problems and incorporated into numerical schemes such as boundary element methods. The results discussed in this paper indicate that there is no problem in the evaluation of the point load solutions with high accuracy and efficiency, and that the material non-homogeneity has a significant effect on the elastic field due to adjacent loading.

南宋宫廷画师之供职模式研究

前辈学者的精密研究清楚勾勒下金、元、明、清宫廷绘画机构,藉此可知金、元、明均无单一画院。而进一步的问题是,上溯至北宋,画院单独存在,省舍职制单一而独立,如此职能完善的宫廷画院为什么至后世逆向施行,反而倒退成没有画院?金元明清宫廷绘画运作机制与北宋画院迥不相同,那么朝代更迭之际,宫廷绘画机构职能制度如何转化如何过渡,因因何产生霄壤之别呢?寻着此一线索,本文目的在于探究南宋画师如何供职于宫廷。研究结果指出,南宋宫廷画师分御前画师、非御前画师两大类型服务模式,"非御前画师"散隶三省六部,以工部暨下辖匠作机构尤为集中,金、元、明初、清代宫廷绘画运作部门亦大致集中于此一范围。南宋"御前画师"由特务组织"皇城司"遣调,开启了明代中叶画师依附厂卫制度、系挂锦衣卫武职官衔之先河,因为南宋皇城司即明东厂制度之前身。而"御前画师"值班当日伴驾随行,轮值地点随君王行踪而定,对清代启祥宫、如意馆等清代画院运作机制亦造成相当程度的影响。

中国大规模的坡地退耕还林工程及其持续性一直是世界话题的焦点。本研究旨在评估该工程对参与农户收入的影响和补贴的重要性;推测补贴期后农户可能的行为方式;评估项目效益和持续性。分析资料来源于2003年中国西部三个试点省(陕西、甘肃、四川)的农户抽样调查。基于未观察效应面板数据(panel data)模型评估退耕还林对农户收入的影响,我们发现农户的收入普遍没有增长,农户收入结构也没有改进。由此对工程的持续性感到忧心。
