Social Internet of Vehicles(SIoV)falls under the umbrella of social Internet of Things(IoT),where vehicles are socially connected to other vehicles and roadside units that can reliably share information and services with other social entities by leveraging the capabilities of 5G technology,which brings new opportunities and challenges,e.g.,collaborative power trading can address the mileage anxiety of electric ***,it relies on a trusted central party for scheduling,which introduces performance bottlenecks and cannot be set up in a distributed network,in addition,the lack of transparency in state-of-the-art Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V)power trading schemes can introduce further trust *** this paper,we propose a blockchain-based trustworthy collaborative power trading scheme for 5G-enabled social vehicular networks that uses a distributed market mechanism to introduce trusted power trading and avoids the dependence on a centralized dispatch *** on the game theory,we design the pricing and trading matching mechanism for V2V power trading to obtain maximum social *** use blockchain to record power trading data for trusted pricing and use smart contracts for transaction *** simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in improving social welfare and reducing the load on the grid.

Expression of bcl-2 gene increases in apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells induced by rattlesnake venom

Apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells (VEC) has been induced by deprivation of survival factors (aFGF and serum) and by rattlesnake venom. The expression of bcl-2 gene has been examined by Northern blotting in the two apoptosis inducing systems. Our results show that the expression of bcl-2 has not been detected in normal culture cells and in apoptotic cells induced by deprivation of survival factors. But in apoptotic cells induced by rattlesnake venom (10 μg/mL), the expression of bcl-2 increases, and its mRNA exhibits two bands. The data first suggest that increasing expression and splitting of bcl-2 mRNA may play an important role in apoptosis of VEC induced by rattlesnake venom, and this finding is helpful to understanding the role of bcl-2 in regulation of apoptosis.

Antarctic krill is the key species of ecological system in the Amundsen *** present,the suitable distribution is unobtainable by scientifi c surveys or data from the fi *** this paper,the maximum entropy algorithm(Maxent)was used to obtain the potential distribution of adult Antarctic krill in order to provide useful information and reasonable reference for the policy on protecting potential krill habitats around the Amundsen *** points and 17 environmental variables were used to simulate the *** show that the high and moderate suitable habitats lie between 65°S and 72°S in the Amundsen *** high suitable habitat accounts for 8.1%of the total area of the Amundsen *** sea ice persistence(ICE),total phytoplankton(PHYC),and the minimum value of dissolved iron(Fe_min)are the three dominant contributors to the *** from the response curves show that Antarctic krill preferred habitats with ICE of 0.42-0.93,PHYC of 2.48-2.77 mmol/m^(3) and Fe_min of(7.10×10^(-5))-(9.45×10^(-5))mmol/m *** trends existed in the PHYC of the high and moderate suitable habitat,and a positive trend existed in the Fe_min of moderate suitable ***,the probability of presence of Antarctic krill will decrease if the increase of the PHYC and Fe_min continues.

The secreted alphaherpesvirus glycoprotein G (gG) works differently from other proteins. Analysis of the role of ILTV gG in virus attachment, penetration, direct cell-to-cell spread (CTCS) and the growth curve showed that gG or its antibody had no effect on ILTV attachment and penetration and that the gG antibody reduced the virus plaque size and the one-step growth curve on chicken embryo liver (CEL) cells, but gG did not affect the virus plaque size or the one-step growth curve on CEL cells. Laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM) detection showed that ILTV gG is located in the perinuclear region and the membrane of the CEL cells. These results suggested that ILTV gG might contribute to direct cell-to-cell transmission.

Lifespan is one of the main components of life *** lifespans can be expected in marginal ***,in the case of ectotherms,lifespan typically increases with altitude,even though temperature-one of the main factors to determine ectotherms'life history-declines with *** pattern can be explained by the fact that a shorter activity time favors *** this study,we analyzed how lifespan and other life-history traits of the lizard Psammodromus algirus vary along a 2,200 m elevational gradient in Sierra Nevada(SE Spain).Populations at inter-mediate altitudes(1,200-1,700 m),corresponding to the optimal habitat for this species,had the shortest lifespans,whereas populations inhabiting marginal habitats(at both low and at high altitudes)lived ***,this lizard did not follow the typical pattern of ectotherms,as it also lived longer at the lower limit of its distribution,nor did it show a longer lifespan in areas with optimal *** results might be explained by a complex combination of different gradients along the mountain,namely that activity time decreases with altitude whereas food availability *** could explain why lifespan was maximum at both high(limited activity time)and low(limited food availability)altitudes,resulting in similar lifespans in areas with contrasting environmental *** findings also indicated that reproductive investment and body condition increase with elevation,suggesting that alpine populations are locally adapted.

Objective To examine the presence of gender differences in pro-inflammatory potential of cadmium in rats by comparing systemic inflammatory response to acute cadmium intoxication in animals of the two sexes. Methods Basic aspects of this response were evaluated, including plasma levels of inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor （TNF） and interleukin-6 （IL-6） and of major rat acute phase protein alpha 2-macroglobulin （alpba2-M）, as soluble indicators of inflammation, and the number and activity of peripheral blood leukocytes, as cellular indicators of inflammation. Results Differential increases of IL-6 and alpha 2-M （higher in males than in females） in peripheral blood cell counts and types （leukocytosis and shift in the ratio of granulocytes to lymphocytes more pronounced in males vs females） and in levels of neutrophil priming （higher in males vs females） were noted. Conclusion The data document a more intense inflammatory response to cadmium administration in males. The sex differences in inflammatory effects of cadmium might be taken into consideration in studying the toxicity of this heavy metal.

In this study, two polymeric resins with different pore sizes were synthesized to study comparative adsorption of reactive black KNB dye. Styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer resin NG-8 has an average pore size of 3.82 nm, about half of that of polydivinylbenzene resin NG-7 （6.90 nm）. NG-8 also has a surface acidity about 4 times that of NG-7, resulting in a much more negative surface of the former resin as compared to the latter at pH 6.05. Equilibrium adsorption of KNB was significantly influenced by the surface functionality of the resins, as evidenced by the observations that NG-8 adsorbed constantly less KNB than NG-7 and that the presence of CaCl2 enhanced the adsorption by both resins. The intra-particle diffusion appears to be the primary rate-limiting process. While the pores of both resins are accessible to KNB, the slower adsorption by NG-8 than by NG-7 suggests that the smaller pores of NG-8 further retard the intra-particle diffusion of KNB.

Magnetosonic waves are an important medium for energy transfer in collisionless space *** waves have been widely investigated in the upstream of the bow shock at *** waves are believed to originate from pickup ions or reflected *** utilizing MAVEN spacecraft data,we have observed the occurrence of quasi-perpendicularly propagating magnetosonic emissions near the proton gyrofrequency in the Martian magnetotail *** plasma waves are associated with a significant enhancement of proton and oxygen *** excited magnetosonic waves could possibly heat the protons through resonance and facilitate the ionospheric plasma *** results could be helpful to better understand the Mars’magnetospheric dynamics and offer insights into possible energy redistribution between waves and plasma in the Martian nightside magnetosphere.

Selective hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanone is intriguing in chemical *** a few catalysts with promising performances have been developed in recent years,the basic principle for catalyst design is still missing owing to the unclear catalytic *** work tries to unravel the mechanism of phenol hydro-genation and the reasons causing the selectivity discrepancy on noble metal catalysts under mild *** show that different reaction pathways always firstly converge to the formation of cyclohexanone under mild *** selectivity discrepancy mainly depends on the activity for cyclohexanone sequential hy-drogenation,in which two factors are found to be responsible,*** hydrogenation energy barrier and the competitive chemisorption between phenol and cyclohexanone,if the specific co-catalyzing effect of H 2 O on Ru is not *** on the above results,a quantitative descriptor,E b(one/pl)/E a,in which E a can be further correlated to the d band center of the noble metal catalyst,is proposed by the first time to roughly evaluate and predict the selectivity to cyclohexanone for catalyst screening.
