This article introduces a novel variant of the generalized linear exponential(GLE)distribution,known as the sine generalized linear exponential(SGLE)*** SGLE distribution utilizes the sine transformation to enhance its *** updated distribution is very adaptable and may be efficiently used in the modeling of survival data and dependability *** suggested model incorporates a hazard rate function(HRF)that may display a rising,J-shaped,or bathtub form,depending on its unique *** model includes many well-known lifespan distributions as separate *** suggested model is accompanied with a range of statistical *** model parameters are examined using the techniques of maximum likelihood and Bayesian estimation using progressively censored *** order to evaluate the effectiveness of these techniques,we provide a set of simulated data for testing *** relevance of the newly presented model is shown via two real-world dataset applications,highlighting its superiority over other respected similar models.

As a result of investigating analytically and experimentally the interchangeability between thermal, electrical and magnetic energies, it is proved in the presented study that the electric and magnetic energies have an equivalent grade and nature as the thermal energy. So, the natural flow of electric charges and magnetic flux is associated also by increase of entropy of universe, similar to the heat, and has the same nature of waves as the electromagnetic heat radiation. Casting the Maxwell’s wave equation into an energy frame of reference that replaces the time in wave equations by entropy, it is possible to represent the electric charges and magnetic flux as electromagnetic waves of electric and magnetic potentials. Such results lead to modify exclusively the definition of the physical nature of the electric charge and magnetic flux which is unavailable in literature.

Metal-matrix composites (MMCs) are attracting considerable interest worldwide because of their superior mechanical and tribological properties. This study describes multifactor-based experiments that were applied to research and investigates Aluminum matrix composite reinforced with 5, 10 & 15 wt% Alumina particles. Mechanical mixing technique was used for fabrication. Sintering was carried out in a vacuum furnace at 600°C for 1 hr. The effects of Alumina percentage on the density, microstructure, both electrical & thermal conductivities, hardness and compression strength was investigated. The results showed that sample containing 5 wt% Alumina is near-fully dense. Also it has the highest hardness and compression strength.

The multifunctionality and the advantages of thermal plasma for the fast inactivation of viable cells and degradation of organic compounds dissolved in waste water are presented.A complete bacterial inactivation process was observed and studied using a thermal plasma treatment source with very short application times,in particular for Staphylococcus aureus bundle spore *** survival curves and analyses of the experimental data of the initial and final densities of *** bacteria show a dramatic inhibitory effect of the plasma discharge on the residual bacteria survival *** the exposure time increased,the inactivation process rate increased for direct exposure more than it did for indirect *** evaluation of direct and indirect exposure was based on the analysis of the ultraviolet spectrum from the absorbance spectra of the organic compound dye called benzene sulfonate（C（16）H（11）N2Na O4S）and of viable cells called *** compounds were degraded and viable cells were killed in a short time by thermal ***,analyses of total carbon,total organic carbon,and total inorganic carbon showed a fast decrease in organically bound carbon,however,this was not as fast as the absorbance spectra revealed by the exposure time increasing more for direct exposure than indirect *** 100 s of exposure to the organic compound dye the removal had a maximun of 40%for samples with indirect exposure to the plasma and a maximum of 90%for samples with the direct *** both samples,where some organic contaminants still remained in treated water,four electrolytes（KCl,Na Cl,Na2SO4,and CH3COONa）were added to be effective for complete sterilization,reaching a purity of 100%.A proposal is made for an optimized thermal plasma water purification system（TPWPS）to improve fast inactivation of microbes and the degradation of organic compounds dissolved in water（especially for direct exposure rather than indirect exposure）using a hybrid plasma to

In the present work, we designed the new type of photonic crystals (PCs) as reflectors. Reflections from single layer of Al2O3/MgO PC help us in recapturing the light that does escape from the scintillation surface. Photonic crystals in one dimension array of Al2O3 and MgO with silver at periodicities N = 1, 2 and 3 were used as a reflector around the surface of the scintillation volume. Scintillation detectors are widely used in nuclear medicine. The efficiency is an important parameter for characterizing the capability of the detectors. The counting efficiency of the detectors depends on the light emission induced by radiation. The light then was converted by the photomultiplier tube into electrical pulses. The efficiency may increase by an amount of 1.64% if MgO-Ag photonic crystals are used at periodicity N = 1 as a reflector.

In this editorial,we comment on the article by Lei et al,with a specific focus on the timing of the initiation of the antifibrotic agent pirfenidone(PFD)in the management of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF)and its impact on lung function of IPF *** is an antifibrotic agent that is widely used in the management of IPF in both early and advanced *** inhibits various pathways and has antifibrotic,anti-inflammatory,and antioxidant *** dosage lowering,PFD slowed IPF progression and maintained functional *** 6-min walk distance test indicated that patients tolerated adverse events well,and PFD significantly reduced the incidence of progression episodes and *** when a single disease-progression event occurred,continuing PFD treatment had benefits.

In this paper, we study the dynamic properties of an SIRI epidemic model incorporating media coverage, and stochastically perturbed by a Lévy noise. We establish the existence of a unique global positive solution. We investigate the dynamic properties of the solution around both disease-free and endemic equilibria points of the deterministic model depending on the basic reproduction number under some noise excitation. Furthermore, we present some numerical simulations to support the theoretical results.

To the Editor: Neurofibromatosis type 1(NF-1), or Von Recklinghausen disease, is a genetic disorder inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern. It is caused by a mutation in the neurofibromin gene located on chromosome 17, accounting for 96% of all neurofibromatosis cases. This condition can affect multiple systems and often leads to the formation of tumors along the nervous system [1]. Patients with NF-1 may exhibit various symptoms, including Lisch nodules, neurofibromas, scoliosis, café au lait spots, learning disabilities, vision disorders, and epilepsy.
