Since Pb is a non-biodegradable inorganic pollutant and a non-essential metal,its long-term presence in soil poses a great threat to the *** lactea ***(Fisch.)Koidz.,a perennial dense bush herb with high resistance of Pb and wide adaptability,was used in pot experiments to study the effects of exogenous nitrate N(NO_(3)^(–)-N)on the absorption and transportation of Pb and plant growth under different Pb ***,the mechanism of NO_(3)^(-)-N affecting Pb and nutrient uptake and transport was *** concentration of Pb in the experiment ranged from 0 to 1600 mg/kg,and the added concentration of NO_(3)^(-)-N was 0.0–0.3 g/*** results showed that *** was highly tolerant to Pb,and the shoot fraction was more sensitive to varied Pb concentrations in the soil than the root *** protective function became more pronounced under the condition of raised Pb concentration in the *** the concentration of Pb in the soil reached 800 mg/kg,the highest Pb content of *** was found under the condition of 0.1 g/kg of NO–3-N *** Pb concentration in the soil increased to 1600 mg/kg,the increase in NO_(3)^(-)-N addition promoted Pb uptake by the *** ensure the well growth of *** and the effect of remediation of Pb-contaminated soil,the recommended concentration of NO–3-N in the soil is 0.1 g/*** result provides a theoretical basis for exogenous N regulation of phytoremediation of Pb-contaminated soil.

The simulation performance over complex building clusters of a wind simulation model（Wind Information Field Fast Analysis model, WIFFA） in a micro-scale air pollutant dispersion model system（Urban Microscale Air Pollution dispersion Simulation model, UMAPS） is evaluated using various wind tunnel experimental data including the CEDVAL（Compilation of Experimental Data for Validation of Micro-Scale Dispersion Models） wind tunnel experiment data and the NJU-FZ experiment data（Nanjing University-Fang Zhuang neighborhood wind tunnel experiment data）. The results show that the wind model can reproduce the vortexes triggered by urban buildings well, and the flow patterns in urban street canyons and building clusters can also be represented. Due to the complex shapes of buildings and their distributions, the simulation deviations/discrepancies from the measurements are usually caused by the simplification of the building shapes and the determination of the key zone sizes. The computational efficiencies of different cases are also discussed in this paper. The model has a high computational efficiency compared to traditional numerical models that solve the Navier–Stokes equations, and can produce very high-resolution（1–5 m） wind fields of a complex neighborhood scale urban building canopy（～ 1 km ×1km） in less than 3 min when run on a personal computer.

This study developed a method to perform the simultaneous concentration and selective separation of 66 （ultra） trace persistent toxic substances in Antarctic waters. The substances included 30 polychlorinated biphenyls, 17 organochlorine pesticides, 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, 3 hexabromocyclododecanes. Solid phase extraction was performed using a C18 membrane and silica gel column. Gradient elution was conducted using organic solvents with different polarities; as a result, the efficiency of the C18 film is improved and the interferences from impurities and target compounds are eliminated. Extracts were subsequently analyzed through gas chromatography or liquid and gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry. Method validation yielded the following values： recoveries of all target analytes in the Antarctic water ranged from 87.3% to 117.6% and reproducibility as percent relative standard deviation was lower than 5%. Quantification limits ranged from 0.004 μg L^-1 to 0.030 μg L^-1. The established method improved the recoveries and reduced the limits of detection. Results indicated the method exhibited good performance in the simultaneous concentration and selective separation of 66 （ultra） trace organic pollutants; Therefore, the proposed sample pretreatment can potentially eliminate the effects of various classes of impurities to some extent.

Atmospheric carbonyl compounds play significant roles in the cycling of radicals and have exhibited surprisingly high levels in winter that were well correlated to particulate matter,for which the reason have not been clearly *** we measured carbonyl compounds and other trace gasses together with PM_(2.5)over urban Jinan in North China Plain during the *** higher carbonyl concentrations(average:14.63±4.21 ppbv)were found during wintertime haze pollution,about one to three-times relative to those on nonhaze days,with slight difference in chemical composition except formaldehyde(HCHO).HCHO(3.68 ppbv),acetone(3.17 ppbv),and acetaldehyde(CH_3CHO)(2.83 ppbv)were the three most abundant species,accounting for~75% of the total carbonylson both haze and non-haze *** from observational-based model(OBM)with atmospheric oxidation capacity(AOC)indicated that AOC significantly increased with the increasing carbonyls during the winter haze *** photolysis have supplied key oxidants such as RO_(2) and HO_(2),and thereby enhancing the formation of fine particles and secondary organic aerosols,elucidating the observed haze-carbonyls *** variation with carbonyls exhibiting peak values at early-noon and night highlighted the combined contribution of both secondary formation and primary diesel-fuel sources.1-butene was further confirmed to be the major precursor for *** study confirms the great contribution of carbonyls to AOC,and also suggests that reducing the emissions of carbonyls would be an effective way to mitigate haze pollution in urban area of the NCP region.

Effect of pH Value on Stress Corrosion Cracking of X70 Pipeline Steel in Acidic Soil Environment

The effect of pH value on the stress corrosion cracking （SCC） of API XT0 pipeline steel in simulated acidic soil solutions was investigated by using slow strain rate test, electrochemical polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy, pH plays an important role in the susceptibility and electrochemical mechanism of SCC. The pH higher than 5 has no significant effect on electrochemical processes. By contrast, the pH lower than 5 intensifies cathodic hydrogen evolution reactions, thus increasing the cathodic current and corrosion potential. Under different pH values, the SCC mechanism of XT0 pipeline steel varies among anodic dissolution （AD）, hydrogen embrittlement （HE）, and the combination of AD and HE （AD ＋ HE） with variations of applied potential. At -850 mVscE, the SCC mechanism is HE if pH is less than 4 or AD 4- HE if pH value is more positive.

Spatiotemporal variations of ambient air pollutants and meteorological influences over typical urban agglomerations in China during the COVID-19 lockdown

To investigate the air quality change during the COVID-19 pandemic,we analyzed spatiotemporal variations of six criteria pollutants in nine typical urban agglomerations in China using ground-based data and examined meteorological influences through correlation analysis and backward trajectory analysis under different *** of PM2.5,PM10,NO2,SO2 and CO in urban agglomerations respectively decreased by 18%–45%(30%–62%),17%–53%(22%–39%),47%-64%(14%–41%),9%–34%(0%–53%)and 16%-52%(23%–56%)during Lockdown(Post-lockdown)period relative to Pre-lockdown ***2.5 pollution events occurred during Lockdown in beijing-Tianjin-Hebe(BTH)and Middle and South Liaoning(MSL),and daily O3 concentration rose to gradeⅡstandard in Post-lockdown *** from the nationwide slump of NO2 during Lockdown period,a rebound(~40%)in Post-lockdown period was observed in Cheng-Yu(CY),Yangtze River Middle-Reach(YRMR),Yangtze River Delta(YRD)and Pearl River Delta(PRD).With slightly higher wind speed compared with 2019,the reduction of PM2.5(51%–62%)in Post-lockdown period is more than2019(15%–46%)in HC(Harbin-Changchun),MSL,BTH,CP(Central Plain)and SP(ShandongPeninsula),suggesting lockdown measures are effective to PM2.5 *** O3 concentrations generally increased during the lockdown,its increment rate declined compared with 2019 under similar sunlight duration and ***,unlike HC,MSL and BTH,which suffered from additional(>30%)air masses from surrounding areas after the lockdown,the polluted air masses reaching YRD and PRD mostly originated from the long-distance transport,highlighting the importance of joint regional governance.

This paper aims to evaluate the cost of environmental degradation by adopting the conventional environmental economic methodology in China from 2004 to 2017 and summarize the change in both the causes and costs of China’s environmental *** from this study revealed the following:*** environmental degradation cost in China increased from 511 billion yuan to 1,892 billion yuan from 2004 to 2017,and its share in the GDP decreased from 3.05% to 2.23%;*** environmental degradation cost growth rate was lower than the GDP growth *** environmental degradation cost growth rate decreased sharply,by dropping from 10% in 2014 to 2% in *** environmental benefits of industrial transformation have emerged;*** provinces of Shandong,Hebei,Jiangsu,Henan,and Guangdong had the highest environmental degradation *** annual average growth rate of the environmental degradation costs in Jiangsu,Guangdong,and Zhejiang were lower than their growth rate of the GDP respectively;*** of environmental degradation cost in decision-making could contribute to the high-quality development of China.
