Short-term traffic flow forecasting plays an important role in the urban traffic control and guidance system. In the paper, the advantages of wavelet transform and artificial neural network are introduced. Focusing on the characteristics of time-variation and uncertainty of urban traffic flow, the paper adopts the combination of wavelet analysis and artificial neural network, establishes the short-term traffic flow forecasting model of wavelet neural network (WNN) and carries out independent test by rolling forecasting based on the measured data from traffic library. Simulation results indicate that, compared with the forecasting model of BP neural network, the WNN model has better forecasting precision and faster convergence speed, and wavelet neural network could be better applied in the short-term forecasting of traffic flow.

An ab initio calculation of the electric-field gradient(EFG)at the site of a phosphorous impurity substituting an Al atom in α-Al_(3)O_(2) is carried out using the WIEN2k code with the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbital method(LAPW+lo)in the frame of density functional *** atomic lattice relaxations caused by the implanted impurities were calculated for two different charged states to well describe the electronic structure of the doped *** EFG at the site of the phosphorous impurity in the charged supercell calculated with the exchange-correlation potential of the Wu-Cohen generalized gradient approximation(WC-GGA)is 0.573×10^(21) V/m^(2).Then,the nuclear quadrupole moment of the I=3 state in ^(28)P is deduced to be 137 mb from the quadrupole interaction frequency of 190 kHz measured recently by theβ-NQR method.

Urban traffic flow has the characteristics of nonlinearity and time-variation, and how to accurately forecast short-term traffic flow has been an essential part in traffic field. Taking advantage of the Generalized Regression Neural Network （GRNN）, the paper establishes the short-term forecasting model of traffic flow based on GRNN. The GRNN model selects the cross validation algorithm to train the network, takes the root mean square of forecasting error as the evaluation criterion of the network to determine the smoothing factor and uses the method of rolling forecasting to forecast the traffic flow. Compared with the forecasting models of RBF and BP neural network, GRNN has stronger approximation capability and higher forecasting accuracy.

Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel cell has many perfect characters and becomes one of the most important research subjects among domestic and international fuel cell fields. Heat transfer management is one of the key technologies for PEM fuel cell. This paper built a temperature model of PEM fuel cell based on fuzzy technology, which divided the fuzzy space evenly by established rules, got the number of fuzzy rules and rules application degree, identified the consequent parameters by least square method. This model is fit for multi-variables and has simple construction and high accuracy. Finally, simulation examples show the effectiveness of the modeling.

In this work,based on the classical grain boundary (GB) formula and the principle of work-energy conversion,a new physically-based model has been developed to predict the particle pinning force concerning the interaction between second phase particles (SPPs) and the moving *** effect of particles pinning on the GB movement is *** modeling results can be applied to quantitatively determine the critical numbers of SPPs required for complete pining the grain growth,such as the critical SPPs number of the unit GB area,the critical number for single grain stagnation,the critical volume fraction of particles at a given particle *** predictions are in good agreement with the experimental results by Gladman.

A nonlinear self-excited vibration model of main drive system in cold rolling is established. The mechanism of torsional vibration in main drive system stability is discussed within multiple scale method as well as Hopf bifurcation theorem. Then, the periodic solutions and condition of Hopf bifurcation are derived and the influence by subcritical/supercritical bifurcation is analyzed. Based on the simulation experiments with actual industrial data, the previous theoretical analysis and nonlinear model have been testified.

Annealing process will have greatly influence on microstructure of V,Ti and N microalloyed low carbon steel *** this paper,the experimental steels with given amount of V,Ti and N elements were annealed at 4 routes to simulate batch annealing and continuous annealing processes,*** enameling tests for the annealed steel sheets were undergone in same enameling and firing processes to study the relationship between microstructure and *** result shows that the cold-rolled steel sheets annealed at 750 ℃for 6 minutes even for 30 minutes exhibit excellent fishscale resistance.

In this paper, three discrete-time adaptive ILC approaches are discussed fully. In parallel with the continuous-time systems, a discrete-time adaptive ILC with time-difference estimator is first proposed for a class of discrete-time systems with constant parametric uncertainties. And then, a discrete-time adaptive ILC with hybrid-difference estimator is proposed for the other class of discrete-time systems with a mixture of time-varying and time-invariant uncertain parameters. The existing discrete-time adaptive ILC with iteration-difference is also reviewed for the convenience of comparison. Three cases are considered in the simulation to show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive ILCs and to answer the question that which one is most suitable for the different controlled systems.

This paper presents a semi-empirical lumped parameter model developed for analysing the dynamic stability and performance limitations of a pressure compensated vane pump for an automotive application with low-cost *** model calculates continuous displacement chamber pressure profiles and inertial effects for the determination of the internal forces acting on the vane pump's pivoting *** conducted on a custom test stand were used to define a nonlinearly progressive bias spring model and a black box representation of the pump control system *** of the complete model reveals that the performance limitations imposed by the control system valves,in terms of system stability and achievable controller bandwidth,are more restrictive than the limitations imposed by the low-cost vane pump and limit the that bandwidth to 1.84 *** control system also imposes limitations to the system performance based on resonance phenomena which may be significant in some applications.
