The digital twins(DT)has quickly become a hot topic since it was *** appears in all kinds of commercial propaganda and is widely quoted by academic ***,the term DT has misstatements and is misused in business and *** study revisits DT and defines it to be a more advanced system/product/service modeling and simulation environment that combines most modern information communication technologies(ICTs)and engineering mechanism digitization and characterized by system/product/service life cycle management,physically geometric visualization,real-time sensing and measurement of system operating conditions,predictability of system performance/safety/lifespan,and complete engineering mechanisms-based *** idea of DT originates from modeling and simulation practices of engineering informatization,including virtual manufacturing(VM),model predictive control,and building information modeling(BIM).On the basis of the two-element VM model,we propose a three-element model to represent *** does not have its unique technical *** existing practices of DT are extensions of the engineering informatization embracing modern *** insights clarify the origin of DT and its technical essentials.

Based on research into the applications of artificial intelligence （AI） technology in the manufacturing industry in recent years, we analyze the rapid development of core technologies in the new era of＇Internet plus AI＇, which is triggering a great change in the models, means, and ecosystems of the manufacturing industry, as well as in the development of AI. We then propose new models, means, and forms of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing system architecture, and intelligent man- ufactudng technology system, based on the integration of AI technology with information communications, manufacturing, and related product technology. Moreover, from the perspectives of intelligent manufacturing application technology, industry, and application demonstration, the current development in intelligent manufacturing is discussed. Finally, suggestions for the application of AI in intelligent manufacturing in China are presented.

In this paper, we present a swarm intelligence design technology based on a workshop of meta-synthetic engineering, including the architecture, the decision-making process of swarm intelligence design based on a meta-synthetic workshop, and the design resource delivery technology involved in the design. We conclude the paper with a discussion of future research.

To warn the cascading failures caused by cyberattacks(CFCAs)in real time and reduce their damage on cyber-physical power systems(CPPSs),a novel early warning method based on attack gains and cost principle(AGCP)is ***,according to the CFCA characteristics,the leading role of attackers in the whole evolutionary process is *** breaking out of a CFCA is deduced based on the AGCP from the view of attackers,and the priority order of all CFCAs is then ***,the method to calculate the probability of CFCAs is proposed,and an early warning model for CFCA is ***,to verify the effectiveness of this method,a variety of CFCAs are simulated in a local CPPS model based on the IEEE 39-bus *** experimental results demonstrate that this method can be used as a reliable assistant analysis technology to facilitate early warning of CFCAs.

With the increasingly excellent performance of magnesium alloy materials, magnesium alloys are increasingly widely used under the urgent need for weight reduction in aerospace applications. However, due to the severe aviation environment, the strength, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity of magnesium alloy materials need to be further improved. Many scholars are committed to studying higher comprehensive mechanical properties. Besides, they have studied surface treatment processes with space application characteristics, such as high emissivity oxidation and high anti-corrosion electroplating. To further improve the safety and reliability of magnesium alloys and expand their applications, this paper discusses several kinds of magnesium alloys and summarizes their research progress. The whole manuscript should be revised by an expert who has more experience on English writing. At the same time, the surface treatments of magnesium alloy materials for aerospace are analyzed. Besides, the application of magnesium alloy in aerospace field is summarized. With the in-depth research of many scholars, the improvement of material properties and the development of surface protection and functional technology, it is believed that magnesium alloys will be used in more and more aerospace applications and make more contributions to the aerospace field.

Study on oxygen transport and titanium oxidation in coating cracks under parallel gas flow based on LBM modelling

The oxygen transportation from surrounding air to coating cracks is an important factor in the oxidation and ignition of titanium alloy. In this work, the oxygen transport and surface oxidation of titanium in inclined cracks of coating under parallel airflow are studied with the lattice Boltzmann method(LBM).A boundary scheme of LBM about surface reaction is developed. The conversion factors are utilized to build the relationship between the physical scale and the lattice scale. The reliability of the LBM model is validated by the finite element method(FEM). The results show that the convective mass transport driven by the surrounding airflow and the vortex structure formed inside the crack are the two significant factors that influence the oxygen transport in cracks. The convective mass transfer plays a major role in oxygen transport when the inclination angle of the crack is small. For the cases with a large inclination angle, the oxygen transfer from the top to the bottom of the crack is mainly controlled by mass diffusion mechanism. The oxygen concentration in inclined cracks is generally less than that in vertical cracks, and oxidation and ignition of the substrate titanium might be more likely to occur in relatively vertical cracks.

An Industrial Internet Platform for Massive Pig Farming (IIP4MPF)

Pig farming is becoming a key industry of China’s rural economy in recent years. The current pig farming is still relatively manual, lack of latest Information and communication technology (ICT) and scientific management methods. This paper proposes an industrial internet platform for massive pig farming, namely, IIP4MPF, which aims to leverage intelligent pig breeding, production rate and labor productivity with the use of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data intelligence. We conducted requirement analysis for IIP4MPF using software engineering methods, designed the IIP4MPF system for an integrated solution to digital, interconnected, intelligent pig farming. The practice demonstrates that the IIP4MPF platform significantly improves pig farming industry in pig breeding and productivity.
