Motion-pressure co.pled co.trol and simulation of long-endurance capability for multicapsule stratospheric airships

The current study focuses on the motion-pressure co.pled co.trol for a multicapsule stratospheric airship and transforms the path-tracking and heading-hold co.trol of airships into guidance tracking with a time-varying weighted sum of longitudinal and lateral velocities by the definition of co.pound ***,an improved nonlinear predictive co.trol method is provided to reduce the co.trol energy co.sumption by the rolling optimization of co.troller parameters based on finite time intervals,ensuring infinite-time path-tracking ***,co.bined with the proposed cyclic regulation process of safe pressure between internal and external capsules,this study can fully reflect the force-thermal co.pled rule of airships under the actions of atmospheric environment and maneuvering force,while evaluating the long-endurance capability of airships under the co.ditions of safe superheating and *** effectiveness of the motionpressure co.pled co.troller was verified through numerical simulations,which can overco.e the influence of environmental wind and achieve a tracking effect for the desired cruise path and co.pound *** airspeed provided during the cyclic circadian time caused the maximum superheating of the helium co.trolled within 30*** helium in the internal and external capsules achieved circadian *** equivalent micropore diameter of the capsule of 5 mm can achieve 55 days of long-endurance *** co.troller satisfies the requirements of cruise-flight application modes for multicapsule stratospheric airships with important engineering value.

This study employed multispectral techniques to evaluate fulvic acid(FA)co.positional characteristic and elucidate its biodegradation mechanisms during partial nitritation(PN)*** showed that FA removal efficiency(FRE)decreased from 90.22 to 23.11%when FA co.centrations in the reactor were increased from 0 to 162.30 mg/L,and that molecular size,degree of aromatization and humification of the effluent FA macromolecules all increased after *** population analysis indicated that the proliferation of the co.amonas,OLB12 and Thauera exhibit high FA utilization capacity in lower co.centrations(<50.59 mg/L),promoting the degradation and removal of macromolecular *** addition,the sustained increase in external FA may decrease the abundance of above functional microorganisms,resulting in a rapid drop in ***,from the genetic perspective,the elevated FA levels restricted carbohydrate(ko00620,ko00010 and ko00020)and nitrogen(HAO,AMO,NIR and NOR)metabolism-related pathways,thereby impeding FA removal and total nitrogen loss associated with N_(2)O emissions.

Sludge co.position and characteristics shaped microbial co.munity and further determined process performance: A study on full-scale thermal hydrolysis-anaerobic digestion processes

Anaerobic digestion (AD) with thermal hydrolysis (TH) pretreatment is a promising process for excess sludge treatment,while there lacks of the knowledge from full-scale process about the impact of sludge co.position and characteristics on microbial co.munity and *** sludge physiochemical indices,microbial co.munity and performance data of four full-scale TH-AD plants were characterized,and their relationships was *** four plants were operated under almost similar total organic loading rate (OLR)but their methanogenesis performance differentiate into two groups,namely superior group(SupG) and the inferior group (Inf G).In both groups,TH effectively solubilized particulate organic co.pounds,meanwhile raised the ammonia nitrogen (NH_(4)^(+)-N) and volatile fatty acid (VFA) *** with the Sup G,thermal hydrolyzed sludge of Inf G had higher level of VFAs,NH_(4)^(+)-N and total chemical oxygen demand (t co.),which showed higher inhibition effect on microbes,leading to a co.munity with lower diversity,lower abundance of carbohydrate degrading functional guild,higher protein degrading one,and methanogens that adapted to limited substrates,and further declined the methane production ***,it was reco.mended that OLR alone was not sufficient for co.trolling the system in design and operation,the co.centration of VFAs,NH_(4)^(+)-N and t co. should be equally *** higher co.centration,together with the higher abundance of Defluviitoga and Proteiniphilum were reco.mended as indicators for inferior running *** results proposed that microbial co.munities played a role of bridge between environmental factors and performance,provided implications for engineering eco.ogy and operational regulation for full-scale sludge TH-AD process.

The Ordos Basin is a large cratonic basin with stable deposition in Northwest *** its mostly stable subsidence background and the urgent need for saline water disposal and carbon dioxide storage in the co.l mining and co.l chemical industries,the Ordos Basin has been chosen as a pilot demonstration site for carbon dioxide and saline water storage in ***,few studies have been made to evaluate the sedimentary and sequence stratigraphy characteristics of this region,as well as their influence on carbon dioxide and saline water storage *** address this research gap,we co.ducted a sedimentary study of the Lower Triassic Liujiagou Formation in the northeastern Ordos Basin utilizing the stratigraphy theory,laboratory test analysis,and pilot project demonstration,to evaluate the area's viability for the deep geological storage of gas and liquid *** studied the tectonic setting,petrological features,and sedimentary characteristics of the favorable strata and predicted favorable areas based on sequence stratigraphy *** lithology predominantly co.sists of feldspathic graywacke,with a fine grain size and mostly fine-to-medium-grained *** distribution of thick-grained sandstone and fine-grained sediment was identified by dividing the sequence,and a favorable reservoir-cap assemblage co.figuration was ***'s co.cluded that the Lower Triassic Liujiagou Formation exhibits suitable characteristics for the deep geological storage of carbon dioxide and saline *** study demonstrates the importance of basic theory in guiding practical applications and provides a reference for the scientific selection of favorable areas for deep basin storage.

Understanding the co.bustion behavior of electric bicycle batteries and unveiling its relationship with fire extinguishing

In this study,a detailed analysis of the co.bustion behaviors of the lithium iron phosphate(LFP)and lithium manganese oxide(LMO)batteries used in electric bicycles was *** research included quantitative measurements of the co.bustion duration,flame height,co.bustion temperature,heat release rate,and total heat *** results indicated that LMO batteries exhibited higher co.bustion temperatures of 600–700°C,flame heights of 70–75 cm,a significantly higher heat release rate of40.1 k W(12 Ah),and a total heat release of 1.04 MJ(12 Ah)co.pared to LFP batteries with the same *** on these experimental results,a normalized total heat release(NORTHR)parameter was proposed,demonstrating good universality for batteries with different *** this parameter,quantitative calculations and optimization of the extinguishing agent dosage were co.ducted for fires involving these two types of batteries,and the method was validated by extinguishing fires for these two types of battery packs with water-based extinguishing fluids.

Catalytic ozonation is an effective wastewater purification ***,the low ozone mass transfer in packed bubble co.umns leads to low ozone utilization efficiency(OUE),poor organic degradation performance,and high energy ***,there is an urgent need to develop efficient supported catalysts that can enhancemass transfer and ***,the reaction mechanism of the support on ozone mass transfer remains unclear,which hinders the development of catalytic ozonation *** this study,lava rocks(LR)-supported catalysts,specifically CuMn_(2)O_(4)@LR and MnO_(2)–co.(3)O_(4)@LR,were proposed for catalytic ozonation of IBP degradation due to their superior catalytic activity,stability,and high *** of CuMn_(2)O_(4)@LR or MnO_(2)–co.(3)O_(4)@LR increased IBP removal efficiency from 85%to 91%or 88%,and reduced energy co.sumption from 2.86 to 2.14 kWh/m^(3)or 2.60 kWh/m^(3),*** improvement was attributed to LRsupported catalysts enhancing mass transfer and promoting O3 deco.position to generate•OH and•O_(2)^(−),leading to IBP ***,this study investigated the effects of ozone dose,supporter sizes,and catalyst co.ponents on ozone-liquid mass *** results revealed that the size of the supporter influenced stacked porosity and co.sequently affected ozone mass ***-sized LR(kLa=0.172 min^(−1))exhibited better mass transfer co.pared to smaller-sized *** on these findings,it was co.cluded that both CuMn_(2)O_(4)@LR and MnO_(2)–co.(3)O_(4)@LR are potential catalysts for catalytic ozonation in residual IBP degradation of pharmaceutical wastewater,and LR showed good credibility as a catalyst *** the effects of supporters and active co.ponents on ozone mass transfer provides a fundamental principle for designing supported catalysts in catalytic ozonation applications.

Occurrence and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths in weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore:Effect of soil solution pH and clay minerals

Weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore is crucial source of medium and heavy rare earths,with in-situ leaching being the most co.mon mining *** high co.tents of impurity of aluminum in the leach solution are a significant challenge for the subsequent enrichment process of rare earths.A co.prehensive understanding of the occurrences and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths within typical vertical profiles can provide valuable insights into entire design of the in-situ *** paper improves a five-step sequential extraction method to analyze the occurrence and vertical distribution of rare earths and aluminum in vertical profiles from Chongzuo and *** results demonstrate that soil solution pH is the main factor affecting the vertical distribution of ionexchangeable rare *** samples have distinct areas of enrichment for ion-exchangeable rare earths or ***-exchangeable rare earths are primary co.centrated in the middle and lower parts of the ore layer(4-13 m in Chongzuo,14-22 m in Longyan),while the ion-exchangeable aluminum is mainly enriched in the upper part of the ore layer(1-5 m in Chongzuo,and 2-14 m in Longyan).The vertical distribution of inorganic hydroxy aluminum is likely influenced by the micromorphology and particle size of the clay *** inorganic hydroxy aluminum co.centration in Chongzuo samples decreases co.tinuously from 415.65 to 120.95 mg/kg with increasing sampling depth,whereas the co.centration in Longyan samples(110.55-171.27 mg/kg)is almost independence with sampling *** results provide direct guidance for the entire design of the injection well depth and the leaching parameters,thereby inhibiting the leaching of impurity of aluminum and lower the co.sumption of leaching agent.
