[Objective] The research aimed to analyze a strong convective weather process in beihai in summer. [Method] By using Micaps conventional data and the single station site information of beihai, radar data, a strong convective weather process in beihai City in August, 2010 was analyzed. [Result] 850 and 700 hPa cyclonic low-pressure circulation in the north of Vietnam and Beibu Gulf coast was favorable for the transportation of Bengal Bay southwest airflow, which provided the sufficient water vapor condition for the strong precipitation. The interaction of weak cold air and southeast warm wet airflow was the main cause of the strong rainfall process. The falling zone of strong precipitation related to the water vapor convergence. The maintenance of water vapor flux divergence field in southeast-northwest direction was favorable for the duration of strong precipitation in the south of Guangxi. Before the strong precipitation, the positive and negative vorticity in the high and low levels in beihai station both abruptly strengthened, which was very favorable for generating the convection. The vertical velocity in the strong precipitation process turned from the positive value at the beginning into the negative value as the height variation. The turning had the indicated and early-warning roles on the generation of strong convective weather. [Conclusion] The research provided the theory basis for the strong convective weather forecast in Guangxi coast in summer.

In the field of energy conversion,the increasing attention on power electronic equipment is fault detection and diagnosis.A power electronic circuit is an essential part of a power electronic *** state of its internal components affects the performance of the *** stability and reliability of an energy system can be improved by studying the fault diagnosis of power electronic ***,an algorithm based on adaptive simulated annealing particle swarm optimization(ASAPSO)was used in the present study to optimize a backpropagation(BP)neural network employed for the online fault diagnosis of a power electronic *** built a circuit simulation model in MATLAB to obtain its DC output *** Fourier analysis,we extracted fault *** were normalized as training samples and input to an unoptimized BP neural network and BP neural networks optimized by particle swarm optimization(PSO)and the ASAPSO *** accuracy of fault diagnosis was compared for the three *** simulation results demonstrate that a BP neural network optimized with the ASAPSO algorithm has higher fault diagnosis accuracy,better reliability,and adaptability and can more effectively diagnose and locate faults in power electronic circuits.

Correlation between δ^(18)O, Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca of coral Acropora and seawater temperature from coral culture experiments

To be used as proxies of seawater surface temperature （SST）, the 61Soc values and Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca ratios of scleractinian coral skeletons must be verified by coral culture experiments in the laboratory. This paper describes a coral culture experiment that was conducted at several seawater temperatures T （21-28℃） using a tandem aquarium system and the new method for depositing coral skeletons grown under controlled conditions. The δ180c values and the St/Ca and Mg/Ca ratios of the cultured coral were measured. We concluded that the δ18Oc values and Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca ratios of the cultured coral are clearly corre- lated with T. The linear regression curve is δ18Oc（‰）=-0.1427×T（℃）-0.1495 （n=18, r=0.955, p〈0.0001）, and the slope of -0.1427‰/°d℃ is at the low end of the range of published values （-0.13-0.29‰/°d℃）. The Sr/Ca ratio decreases with increas- ing T, whereas the Mg/Ca ratio increases with increasing T, indicating a negative correlation between Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca. Their linear regression curves are Sr/Ca（mmol/mol）=-O.O4156×T＋lO.59 （n=15, r=-0.789, p〈0.005） and Mg/Ca （mmol/mol）= 0.04974×T＋2.339 （n=17, r=-0.457, p〈0.05）, respectively, which demonstrate that when Mg/Ca and Sr/Ca are increased by one unit, T increases by 5.19℃and decreases by 15.62℃, respectively. These variations are significantly lower than published values.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate whether Hydrolyzed Seawater Pearl tablet(HSPT) could modulate the Th1/Th2 imbalance in an immunosuppressed mouse model with Th1 to Th2 shift induced by Cyclosporine A(Cs A) which can be used in the clinical treatment of Th2 to Th1 shift diseases, and explore the possible mechanism for the adjuvant therapeutic efficacy of HSPT on recurrent respiratory infections(RRI) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS).METHODS: The mice were randomly divided into six groups of five animals each, namely normal group, model group, lentinan polysaccharide tablet(LPT) group and three HPST treated groups. HPST treated groups were administered with HPST(0.51,1.02, 2.04 g/kg) via intragastric gavage(i.g) for 30 consecutive days. LPT used as reference drug for positive control, LPT group was administered with LPT(8.2 mg/kg) for 30 consecutive days. Normal group and model group were received distilled water. The animals in model group, LPT group and HPST treated groups were injected intraperitoneally with Cs A(50 mg/kg) to establish the immunosuppressed mice model with Th1 to Th2 shift on the20 th, 22 nd and 24 th day, one hour after the administration of the respective treatment. Animals were sacrificed one hour after the last administration to collect blood and splenic tissue. The proportion of T cells including CD8+ and CD4+ T cells, Th1 and Th2 in peripheral blood of experimental mice were measured by flow cytometric. The protein level in serum and m RNA level in splenic tissue of experimental mice for interleukin(IL)-2, IL-12, interferon-γ(IFN-γ), IL-4, IL-6, IL-10 and IL-13 were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction ***: HSPT elevated the proportion of T cells including both CD8+ and CD4+ T cells, in which the proportion of Th1 and Th2 cells increased, while the ratio of Th1/Th2 cells decreased in peripheral blood of the immunosuppressed mouse model with Th1 to Th2 shift

BACKGROUND： Some researches report that He-Ne laser can activate function of erythrocytes and increase content of blood and oxygen via bio-stimulating effect; therefore, it suspects that laser radiation at Baihui and Dazhui can partially increase blood circulation for oxygen-supplying content of brain and improve functional status of neurons. OBJECTIVE： To verify the effects of laser radiation at Baihui and Dazhui on the expression of Nissl body of brain tissue neurons and brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF） in newborn rats with ischemic/hypoxic cerebral injury. DESIGN： Randomized controlled animal study. SETTING： Department of Neurological Histochemistry, Xianning University. MATERIALS： Forty Wistar rats of 7 - 8 days old, weighing 15 - 20 g and of both genders, were selected from Wuhan Experimental Animal Center. All the rats were randomly divided into sham operation group （n =8）, model group （n =16） and radiation group （n = 16）. The experimental animals were disposed according to ethical criteria. BDNF kit was provided by Wuhan Boster Bioengineering Co., Ltd. METHODS： The experiment was carried out in the Department of Neurological Histochemistry, Xianning University from April 2005 to October 2006. Rats in the radiation group and model group were performed with ligation of left common carotid artery, recovered at room temperature for 1 - 6 days, maintained in self-made hypoxic cabin under normal pressure and injected mixture gas （0.05 volume fraction of 02 and 0.92 volume fraction of N2） for 2 hours. In addition, rats in the sham operation group were treated with separation of left common carotid artery but not ligation and hypoxia. Rats in the model group were not given any treatment; while, rats in the radiation group were exposed with He-Ne laser of 63.28 nm in the wave length at Baihui and Dazhui acupoints on the second day after ischemia-hypoxia. A grey model with periodic term for sea-level analysis is *** present model keeps some advantages of tea GM (1, 1 )model, which well reflects the trend of sea-level changes and gives out the change rate as well as the acceleration of sea level *** *** addition, the present model can reproduce the periodic phenomena of sealevel, hence, it overcomes the shortcomings of the GM(1,1) model that is unsuitable for forecasting monthly mean sealevel with apparent periodicity, and its prediction accuracy is *** present model is used to analyse Guangxi coast sea level,the results show that the rise rates of relative sea level at beihai, Weizhou and Bailongwei are 1 .67,2 .51 and 0.89 mm/a respectively, the relative sea level at Shitoubu has a falling trend with a rate of 0. 5- 1 .0 mm/a, the rise rate of eustatic sea level along the Guangxi coast is 2 .0 mm/a. In comparison with the model with a lineartrend term plus a periodic term, the simulation accuracies of both models are about the same.
