Effects of coke charging pattern on burden movement in COREX melter gasifier based on physical simulation

A three-dimensional semicircle cold model of COREX melter gasifier(MG)was established,and the effects of coke charging pattern on burden movement were investigated by adopting this *** burden flow pattern of packed bed was measured with different coke charging amounts,coke charging positions,and coke *** results show that the solid flow pattern presents a change from straight line type to reverse U type and finally to W type in MG with traditional coke charging,while the burden flow pattern experiences the change from straight line type to W type with platform and finally W type under center coke charging,and the solid flow pattern presents a change from straight line type to W type with platform and finally W type under intermediate coke *** difference demonstrates that coke charging pattern affects the uniform descending in MG to some *** burden in the coke charging zone keeps a straight line *** matter what kind of coke charging pattern is adopted,the burden residence time is shortened with the increase in coke charging amount,and the vertex of deadman decreases obviously,which is conducive to the renewal of the *** appropriate coke charging amount and coke size should be well controlled at 8.7%and 5 mm,*** results are useful not only in developing further understanding of solid flow in MG but also in verifying different mathematical models,particularly the coupled discrete element method with computational fluid dynamics simulation which has been increasingly used in the literature.

This paper presents a highly accurate algorithm,based on precise integration method（PIM）,to investigate the aeroelastic system of an airfoil with control *** nonlinear system is separated as linear sub-systems,which are solved by PIM *** each step,a predictor-corrector algorithm is proposed to detect switching points between *** examples show that,the presented algorithm is much more accurate and efficient than the widely-used Runge-Kutta ***,the Runge-Kutta method even provides false *** such high precision and efficiency,the presented algorithm has the potential to become a benchmark for comparison in solving piecewise-smooth dynamical systems.

Taking "Introduction to Oceanography" as an example, which is the basic course and opened in the colleges covering the major of marine science, this paper discusses how to take the initiative to adapt to the national strategic plan and local economic development in the process of basic education of marine science. According to China's current situation of the marine industry structure, this paper presents that the interface between marine science education and the secondary industry should be strengthened, meanwhile the integration among the basic courses and the actual production and the scientific research should be focused on. colleges covering the major of marine science should take the initiative to explore training modes to enhance the qualities of talents of different level, and to carry out featured training based on their own characteristics of personnel positioning.
