Synergistic effect of Zr and Mo on precipitation and high-temperature properties of Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloys

This study focuses on finding a solution to the sharp decline in mechanical properties of Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloys due to rapid co.rsening of traditional intermediate phases at high temperature.A new type of modified al oy,to be used in automobile engines at high temperatures,was prepared by adding Zr and Mo into Al-Si-Cu-Mg *** synergistic effects of Zr and Mo on the microstructure evolution and high-temperature mechanical properties were *** show that the addition of Zr and Mo generates a series of intermetallic phases dispersed in the *** can improve the strength of the alloy by hindering dislocation movement and crack *** addition,some nano-strengthened phases show co.erent interfaces with the matrix and improve grain *** addition of Mo greatly improves the heat resistance of the *** extremely low diffusivity of Mo enables it to improve the thermal stability of the intermetallic phases,inhibit precipitation during aging,reduce the size of the precipitates,and improve the heat resistance of the alloy.

Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing co.(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and co.(2)geological *** on the Navier-Stokes equation,co.ponent mass co.servation equation,and fluid property-co.position relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale co.(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this *** model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,co.ponent diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and co.(2) *** nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil reco.ery and co.(2) *** co.(2) injection angles and oil-co.(2) density differences can increase the oil reco.ery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase co.(2) storage by 37.9% and 4.7%,*** diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil co.ponents from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/co.(2) co.centration difference within the porous *** diffusion can increase oil reco.ery and co.(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,*** addition,co.bined with the co.ponent diffusion,a low co.(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/co.(2) co.ponent,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil reco.ery and 15.7% co.(2) storage,*** study provides theoretical support for improving the geological co.(2) storage and EOR processes.

2A14-T62 butt joint was successfully welded by stationary shoulder friction stir welding(SSFSW)*** results showed that using a pin with small shoulder co.ld broaden the process window,and under a rotation speed of 2000 r/min and welding speed of 30 mm/min,joint with smooth surface,small reduction in thickness and little inner defects was *** weld nugget zone was approx-imately circular,which was a unique morphology for *** heat-affected zone(HAZ)and thermo-mechanically affected zone(TMAZ)were both quite narrow due to the lower heat input and slight mechanical action of the stationary *** fraction of high angle grain boundaries(HAGBs)exhibited a“W”shape along horizontal direction(from advancing side to retreating side),and the minim-um value located at *** average ultimate tensile strength and elongation of the joint were 325 MPa and 4.5%,respectively,with the joint efficiency of 68.3%.The joint was ductile fractured and the fracture surface co.tained two types of dimples morphology in different re-gions of the *** distribution in the joint exhibited a“W”shape,and the difference along the thickness direction was *** joint had strong stress co.rosion cracking susceptibility,and the slow stain rate tensile strength was 139 *** and Al2O3 particulates were observed at the fracture surface.

To improve the plastic deformation performance of a 08AL carbon steel ultra-thin strip,a pulsed electric field was integrated into the plastic processing of the ultra-thin strip,and the effects of high-energy current on its deformation ability were ***-assisted tensile tests were employed,and the results clarified that the pulsed current co.ld reduce the activation energy of faults and promoted dislocation slip within grains and at grain boundaries,leading to a decrease in the deformation resistance of the metal and an increase in its plastic *** the current density of 2.0 A/mm2,the yield strength,tensile strength,and elongation of the rolled sample reached 425 MPa,467 MPa,and 12.5%,*** the rolling process,it was found that the pulsed current promoted the dynamic recrystallization of the ultra-thin strip,reduced its dislocation density and deformation resistance,and promoted the co.rdinated deformation of the metal.
