Internet of Things(IoT)refers to the infrastructures that connect smart devices to the Internet,operating *** connectivitymakes it possible to harvest vast quantities of data,creating new opportunities for the emergence of unprecedented *** ensure IoT securit,various approaches have been implemented,such as authentication,encoding,as well as devices to guarantee data integrity and *** these approaches,Intrusion Detection Systems(IDS)is an actual security solution,whose performance can be enhanced by integrating various algorithms,including Machine Learning(ML)and Deep Learning(DL),enabling proactive and accurate detection of *** study proposes to optimize the performance of network IDS using an ensemble learning method based on a voting classification *** combining the strengths of three powerful algorithms,Random Forest(RF),K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN),and Support Vector Machine(SVM)to detect both normal behavior and different categories of *** analysis focuses primarily on the NSL-KDD dataset,while also integrating the recent Edge-IIoT dataset,tailored to industrial IoT *** results show significant enhancements on the Edge-IIoT and NSL-KDD datasets,reaching accuracy levels between 72%to 99%,with precision between 87%and 99%,while recall values and F1-scores are also between 72%and 99%,for both normal and attack *** the promising results of this study,it suffers from certain limitations,notably the use of specific datasets and the lack of evaluations in a variety of *** work could include applying this model to various datasets and evaluating more advanced ensemble strategies,with the aim of further enhancing the effectiveness of IDS.

With the characteristic of the quadtree data structure, a new mesh generation method, which adopts square meshes to decompose a background domain and a cut cell approach to express arbitrary boundaries, is proposed to keep the grids generated with a good orthogonality easily. The solution of N-S equations via finite volume method for this kind of unstructured meshes is derived. The mesh generator and N-S solver are implemented to study two benchmark cases, i.e. a lid driven flow within an inclined square and a natural convection heat transfer flow in a square duct with an inner hot circular face. The simulation results are in agreement with the benchmark values, verifying that the present methodology is valid and will be a strong tool for two-dimensional flow and heat transfer simulations, especially in the case of complex boundaries.

The objective of this paper is to present the performance comparison of 2D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis with experimental analysis of 0.6 m impulse turbine with fixed guide vanes for both 0.6 and 0.7 hub to tip ratio (H/T). Also the comparison of 2D CFD analysis of the said turbine with different values of H/T ranging from 0.5 to 0.7. A 2D-cascade model was used for CFD analysis while uni-directional steady flow was used for experimental analysis. The blade and guide vane geometries are based on 0.6 m rotor diameter, with optimum profile, and different H/T of 0.5, 0.6 and 0.7. It was concluded from 2D CFD analysis that 0.5 H/T ratio performances was higher than that of 0.6 and 0.7 H/T at peak efficiency and the operational flow range for 0.5 H/T was found to be wider than that of 0.6 and 0.7 H/T ratio.

As one of the most effective methods for plasma heating,a neutral beam injector（NBI） achieved plasma heating and current driving for the first time in EAST 2014 experimental *** to the research plan of the EAST physics experiment,the first NBI（EASTNBI-1） has been built and become operational in *** this article,the latest experiment results of EAST-NBI-1 are reported as follows：（1） EAST achieves H-mode plasma in the case of NBI heating alone,（2） EAST achieves 22 s long pulse stable H-mode plasma in the case of sinndtaneous NBI and lower hybrid wave（LHW） *** measurement data show that the loop voltage decreased and the plasma stored energy increased *** results indicate that EAST-NBI-1 has achieved plasma heating and current driving,and thus lays a foundation for the construction of EAST-NBI-2,which will be built in a few months this year.

Neutral beam injection （NBI） is recognized as one of the most effective means for plasma heating. A 100 s long pulse neutral beam with 30 keV beam energy, 10 A beam current and a 100 s long pulse modulating neutral beam with 50 keV beam energy, 16 A beam current were achieved in the EAST neutral beam injector on the test-stand. The preliminary results suggest that EAST-NBI system initially possess the ability of long pulse beam extraction.

In a broad sense,climate change is a long-term shift in global or regional climate patterns on Earth,which can be driven by both natural dynamics such as solar cycles or volcanic eruptions and human ***,it has been shown that deforestation since the dawn of Industrial Revolution,combined with the persistent emission of greenhouse gases(e.g.,CO_(2)and methane,which trap the Sun's heat)from intense agricultural and industrial activities,are the primary drivers of climate change over the past two centuries(Ritchie,2020;Lynas et al.,2021).

We have developed a new nanofilter using a carbon nanotube-silver composite material that is capable of efficiently removing waterborne viruses and *** nanofilter was subjected to plasma surface treatment to enhance its flow rate,which was improved by approximately 62%.Nanoscale pores were obtained by fabricating a carbon nanotube network and using nanoparticle fixation technology for the removal of *** pore size of the nanofilter was approximately 38 nm and the measured flow rate ranged from 21.0 to 97.2 L/（min·m^2）under a pressure of 1–6 kgf/cm^2 when the amount of loaded carbon nanotube-silver composite was 1.0 mg/cm^*** nanofilter was tested against Polio-,Noro-,and Coxsackie viruses using a sensitive real-time polymerase chain reaction assay to detect the presence of viral particles within the *** trace of viruses was found to flow through the nanofilter with carbon nanotube-silver composite loaded above 0.8 mg/cm^***,the surface of the filter has antibacterial properties to prevent bacterial clogging due to the presence of 20-nm silver nanoparticles,which were synthesized on the carbon nanotube surface.
