The dynamics of quantum discord for two qubits independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs have been studied *** authors [***.A 88(2013) 034304] found that for some Bell-diagonal states(BDS)which interact with their environments the calculation of quantum discord could experience a sudden transition in its dynamics,this phenomenon is known as the sudden *** in the present paper,we analyze the dynamics of normal quantum discord and super quantum discord for tripartite Bell-diagonal states independently interacting with dephasing ***,we find that basis change does not necessary mean sudden change of quantum correlations.

We present the application of the recent physics-conforming COOL method[2,4]to the eigenvalue problem of a cylindrical waveguide filled with unmagnetized *** the Fourier transform only along the waveguide and not in poloidal direction,this is a relevant test case for a numerical discretization method in two dimensions(radial and poloidal).Analytically,the frequency spectrum consists of discrete electromagnetic parts and,depending on the electron density profile of the plasma,of infinitely degenerate and/or continuous,essentially electrostatic *** the plasma is absent,the latter reduces to the infinitely degenerate zero eigenvalue of electrostatics.A good discretization method for the Maxwell equations must reproduce these *** is shown here that the COOL method meets this demand properly and to very high precision.

Considering phase changes associated with a high-temperature molten material cooled down from the outside,this work presents an improvement of the modelling and the numerical simulation of such processes for an application pertaining to the safety of light water nuclear *** a core meltdown accident,the behaviour of the core melt(aka corium)into a steel vessel is of tremendous importance when evaluating the vessel *** correctly the heat fluxes requires the numerical simulation of the interaction between the liquid material and its solid counterpart which forms during the solidification process,but also may melt *** simulate this configuration,encoun-tered in various industrial applications,one considers a bi-phase model constituted by a liquid phase in contact and interaction with its solid *** liquid phase may solidify in presence of low energetic source,while the solid phase may melt due to an intense heat flux from the high-temperature *** the frame of the in-house legacy code,several simplifying assumptions(0D multi-layer discretization,instantaneous heat transfer via a quadratic temperature profile in solids)are made for the modelling of such phase *** the present work,these shortcomings are illustrated and further overcome by solving a 2D heat conduction model in the solid by a mixed raviart-Thomas finite element method coupled to the liquid phase due to heat and mass exchanges through Stefan *** liquid phase is modeled with a 0D multi-layer *** 0D-liquid and 2D-solid mod-els are coupled by a Stefan like phase change interface *** sanity checks are performed to assess the validity of the approach on 1D and 2D academical configurations for which exact or reference solutions are *** more advanced situations(genu-ine multi-dimensional phase changes and an"industrial-like scenario")are simulated to verify the appropriate behavior of the obtained coupled simulation schem

Fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2) is a member of a large family of proteins that bind heparin and heparan sulfate and modulate the function of a wide range of cell types. It has been proved that FGF-2 stimulates the growth and development of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) that contribute to the pathogenesis of several diseases (i.e. cancer, atherosclerosis). However, many of the biological activities of FGF-2 have been found to depend on its receptor抯 intrinsic tyrosine kinase activity and second messengers such as the mitogen activated protein kinases. This review will focus on the mechanism of FGF-2/FGFr induced signaling pathway in tumor and human breast cancer.

We propose to extend the d’Humi`eres version of the lattice Boltzmann scheme to triangular *** use Bravais lattices or more general lattices with the property that the degree of each internal vertex is supposed to be *** such meshes,it is possible to define the lattice Boltzmann scheme as a discrete particle method,without need of finite volume formulation or delaunay-Voronoi hypothesis for the *** test this idea for the heat equation and perform an asymptotic analysis with the Taylor expansion method for two schemes named D2T4 and *** results show a convergence up to second order accuracy and set new questions concerning a possible super-convergence.

Larger wireless access networks are required to meet the growing demand for mobile traffic and multimedia services. The use of roF (radio over Fiber) technology in combination with millimeter waves is a potential response to the requirements of broadband applications and high capacity networks. In this paper, we proposed a roF architecture able to provide very high-speed wireless access points up to Gbps considering an indoor and outdoor environment conform to IEEE 802.11ad and IEEE 802.15.3c standard. Optical transmission and radio coverage have been studied by considering the uplink and downlink. System performance has been evaluated in the relation to the Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) for various modulation formats (BPSK, QPSK and 16QAM). results showed that millimeter wave signals are successfully delivered over a 50 km fiber link and a wireless channel up to 32 m. Data throughput up to 5.28 Gbps has been reached. The proposed architecture can extend the range of applications for wireless communications in association with the unlicensed 60 GHz band with the advantages of better capacity, a wider coverage area and a reduction in the investment cost.
