Geochronology,Geochemistry,and Sr-Nd-Hf Isotopes of the Diorite Porphyrites from the Weining Beishan Area,Ningxia Hui autonomous Region:Constraints on Their Source and Tectonic Implications

The Weining Beishan area of Ningxia Hui autonomous Region is located at on the western edge of the Helanshan tectonic belt,which is a tectonic joint among Alxa Block,Ordos Block,and North Qilian orogenic ***,the tectonic evolution of this area remains unclear due to the lack of magmatic *** paper conducted researches on geochronology,geochemistry,and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes of the diorite porphyrites exposed in the Weining Beishan *** zircon U-Pb dating yields two ages of 145.0±1.1 and 146.2±1.5 Ma,and the whole-rock geochemical data indicate that the diorite porphyrites are metaluminous to weakly peraluminous and high-K calc-alkaline *** characteristics of highly initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.70816 to 0.71047),negativeε_(Nd)(t)(−8.9 to−8.4),and negativeε_(Hf)(t)(−13.8 to−21.2)indicate that the diorite porphyrites originated from partial melting of the middle-lower ancient crust related to the North China *** with the regional geology,we suggested that partial melting was triggered by a tectonic activity of deep faults cutting through the crust under the regional stress transformation from compressing to extension during the Late Jurassic–Early Cretaceous,which is probably related to the westward subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate.

Objective To clarify the potential mechanism of Banxia Xiexin Decoction(BXD)on colorectal cancer(CRC)from the perspective of *** Forty male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into normal control(NC),azoxymethane/dextran sulfate sodium(AOM/DSS)model,low-dose BXD(L-BXD),high-dose BXD(H-BXD)and mesalamine(MS)groups according to a random number table,8 mice in each *** cancer model was induced by AOM/*** was administered daily at doses of 3.915(L-BXD)and 15.66 g/kg(H-BXD)by gavage for consecutive 21 days,and 100 mg/kg MS was used as positive *** the entire modeling cycle,colon length of mice was measured and quantity of colorectal tumors were *** spleen and thymus index were determined by calculating the spleen/thymus weight to body *** cytokine and changes of serum metabolites were analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kits and ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q/TOF-MS),*** Notably,BXD supplementation protected against weight loss,mitigated tumor formation,and diminished histologic damage in mice treated with AOM/DSS(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Moreover,BXD suppressed expression of serum inflammatory enzymes,and improved the spleen and thymus index(P<0.05).Compared with the normal group,102 kinds of differential metabolites were screened in the AOM/DSS group,including 48 potential biomarkers,involving 18 main metabolic *** 18 potential biomarkers related to CRC were identified,and the anti-CRC mechanism of BXD was closely related to D-glutamine and D-glutamate metabolism,phenylalanine,tyrosine and tryptophan biosynthesis,arginine biosynthesis,nitrogen metabolism and so *** BXD exerts partial protective effects on AOM/DSS-induced CRC by reducing inflammation,protecting organism immunity ability,and regulating amino acid metabolism.

Higher-order properties and extensions for indirect MRAC and APPC of linear systems

Recently, a reference derived some new higher-order output tracking properties for direct model reference adaptive control(MRAC) of linear time-invariant(LTI) systems: limt→∞ e~((i))(t) = 0, i = 1,..., n~*-1, where n~* and e~((i))(t) denote the relative degree of the system and the i-th derivative of the output tracking error, respectively. However, a naturally arising question involves whether indirect adaptive control(including indirect MRAC and indirect adaptive pole placement control) of LTI systems still has higher-order tracking properties. Such properties have not been reported in the literature. Therefore, this paper provides an affirmative answer to this question. Such higher-order tracking properties are new discoveries since they hold without any additional design conditions and, in particular, without the persistent excitation condition. Given the higher-order properties, a new adaptive control system is developed with stronger tracking features.(1) It can track a reference signal with any order derivatives being unknown.(2) It has higher-order exponential or practical output tracking properties.(3) Finally, it is different from the usual MRAC system, whose reference signal’s derivatives up to the n~* order are assumed to be known. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to verify the theoretical results obtained in this paper.

An adaptive large neighborhood search for the multi-point dynamic aggregation problem

The multi-point dynamic aggregation(MPDA)problem is a challenging real-world *** the MPDA problem,the demands of tasks keep changing with their inherent incremental rates,while a heterogeneous robot fleet is required to travel between these tasks to change the time-varying state of each *** robots are allowed to collaborate on the same task or work separately until all tasks are *** is challenging to generate an effective task execution plan due to the tight coupling between robots abilities and tasks'incremental rates,and the complexity of robot *** effectiveness consideration,we use the variable length encoding to avoid redundancy in the solution *** creatively use the adaptive large neighborhood search(ALNS)framework to solve the MPDA *** the proposed algorithm,high-quality initial solutions are generated through multiple problem-specific solution construction *** heuristics are also used to fix the broken solution in the novel integrated decoding-construction repair process of the ALNS *** results of statistical analysis by the Wilcoxon rank-sum test demonstrate that the proposed ALNS can obtain better task execution plans than some state-of-the-art algorithms in most MPDA instances.

BACKGROUND Avulsion fracture of the ischial tuberosity is a relatively clinically rare type of trauma that is mainly incurred by adolescents during competitive sports *** to previous literature,the most commonly involved sports are soccer,sprinting,and gymnastics,in descending ***-induced avulsion fracture of the ischial tuberosity and ischial ramus is extremely clinically *** SUMMARY A case of a neglected avulsion fracture of the ischial tuberosity and ischial ramus was diagnosed in a young female dancer who complained of pain and restricted movement of her right *** stated that she had suffered the injury while performing a split leap during a dance performance 9 mo ***,she underwent surgery and obtained satisfactory treatment *** Early diagnosis of these fractures is important to ensuring early proper treatment towards a quicker *** old fractures with nonunion and chronic buttock pain,surgery is a preferred therapeutic choice with good treatment outcomes.

Spatiotemporal dynamics of land use/land cover(LULC)changes and its impact on land surface temperature:A case study in New Town Kolkata,eastern India

Rapid urbanization creates complexity,results in dynamic changes in land and environment,and influences the land surface temperature(LST)in fast-developing *** this study,we examined the impact of land use/land cover(LULC)changes on LST and determined the intensity of urban heat island(UHI)in New Town Kolkata(a smart city),eastern India,from 1991 to 2021 at 10-a intervals using various series of Landsat multi-spectral and thermal *** study used the maximum likelihood algorithm for image classification and other methods like the correlation analysis and hotspot analysis(Getis–Ord Gi^(*) method)to examine the impact of LULC changes on urban thermal *** study noticed that the area percentage of built-up land increased rapidly from 21.91%to 45.63%during 1991–2021,with a maximum positive change in built-up land and a maximum negative change in sparse *** mean temperature significantly increased during the study period(1991–2021),from 16.31℃to 22.48℃in winter,29.18℃to 34.61℃in summer,and 19.18℃to 27.11℃in *** result showed that impervious surfaces contribute to higher LST,whereas vegetation helps decrease *** ecological status has been found in built-up land,and excellent ecological status has been found in vegetation and water *** hot spot and cold spot areas shifted their locations every decade due to random LULC *** after New Town Kolkata became a smart city,high LST has been ***,this study indicated that urbanization and changes in LULC patterns can influence the urban thermal environment,and appropriate planning is needed to reduce *** study can help policy-makers create sustainable smart cities.

Feature extraction and analysis of reclaimed vegetation in ecological restoration area of abandoned mines based on hyperspectral remote sensing images

The vegetation growth status largely represents the ecosystem function and environmental *** remote sensing data can effectively eliminate the effects of surface spectral reflectance and atmospheric scattering and directly reflect the vegetation parameter *** this study,the abandoned mining area in the Helan Mountains,China was taken as the study *** on hyperspectral remote sensing images of Zhuhai No.1 hyperspectral satellite,we used the pixel dichotomy model,which was constructed using the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),to estimate the vegetation coverage of the study area,and evaluated the vegetation growth status by five vegetation indices(NDVI,ratio vegetation index(RVI),photochemical vegetation index(PVI),red-green ratio index(RGI),and anthocyanin reflectance index 1(ARI1)).According to the results,the reclaimed vegetation growth status in the study area can be divided into four levels(unhealthy,low healthy,healthy,and very healthy).The overall vegetation growth status in the study area was generally at low healthy level,indicating that the vegetation growth status in the study area was not good due to short-time period restoration and harsh damaged environment such as high and steep rock ***,the unhealthy areas were mainly located in Dawukougou where abandoned mines were concentrated,indicating that the original mining activities have had a large effect on vegetation *** ecological restoration of abandoned mines,the vegetation coverage in the study area has increased to a certain extent,but the amplitude was not *** situation of vegetation coverage in the northern part of the study area was worse than that in the southern part,due to abandoned mines mainly concentrating in the northern part of the Helan *** combination of hyperspectral remote sensing data and vegetation indices can comprehensively extract the characteristics of vegetation,accurately analyze the plant gr

State and parameter identification of linearized water wave equation via adjoint method

In this paper, we focus on the state and parameter identification problem of a hydrodynamical system. This system is modeled as a linearized water wave equation(LWWE), a hyperbolic state-space model coupled with a Laplace equation. We assume that the wave elevation at two distinct points is the only measurement of water waves. We show that the state and water depth can be reconstructed from this point measurement records. The identification problem is recast as an optimization problem over an infinite-dimensional space. We propose the adjoint method-based identification algorithm to generate an estimated state and water depth. We then performed a numerical simulation to show the effectiveness of our designed algorithm by comparing it with existing studies.
