indonesian diplomacy criticized as “to slow, too weak, and too late” to protect its migrant workers. indonesian migrant workers that consist 80% of women, sent to fulfill the high demand for domestic workers and low level labor in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. The qualification of workers that mostly uneducated and lack of job experience caused many social-economic issues in receiving countries. Moreover, lack of training led to problems related to violation of human and workers’ rights, even in many cases turned as the victim of human trafficking. The problems at domestic level are related to corrupt government officials, weak of bureaucracy, and lack of coordination amongst government’s institutions. In addition, the business interests of recruiting agents both at home and host countries added to complexity of issues. Problems during recruitment, preparation and sending process also caused legal, social and cultural problems that need diplomatic efforts both at bilateral and multilateral level. Due to diplomatic failure that undermined indonesian reputation in receiving countries, in addition to unresolved domestic problems, this article proposes the indonesian government to terminate the sending of domestic workers. Furthermore, the immigration policy needs to be reevaluates. In the future, the indonesian government should only send legal, documented workers, with skilled or semi-skilled qualifications.

This paper briefly draws the dimension of small, micro and medium enterprises＇（SMEs） behavior in terms of internationalization strategy based on the ownership structure among SMEs in East Java. The finding is very interesting when there is no ownership structure variation, so the decision to choose international involvement could not be supported. Also, the scale determination is not becoming constraint of SMEs in East Java to involve internationally, especially thought export strategy. However, several aspects are considered to control the export behavioral dimension which is research and development （R＆D） and sales, significantly. The result shows that there still are other elements except ownership type could impact internationalization strategy choices of SMEs in East Java.

Equilibrium, kinetic and thermodynamic aspects of the adsorption of copper ions from an aqueous solution using linear alkylbenzene sulfonate （LABORA- TORIES） modified bentonite （organo-bentonite） are reported. Modification of bentonite was performed via microwave heating with a concentration of LABORA- TORIES surfiactant equivalent to 1.5 times that of the cation exchange capacity （CEC） of the raw bentonite. Experimental parameters affecting the adsorption process such as pH, contact time and temperature were studied. Several adsorption equations （e.g., Langmuir, Freundlich, Sips and Toth） with temperature dependency were used to correlate the equilibrium data. These models were evaluated based on the theoretical justifications of each isotherm parameter. The Sips model had the best fit for the adsorption of copper ions onto organo-bentonite. For the kinetic data, the pseudo-second order model was superior to the pseudo-first order model. Thermodynamically, the adsorption of copper ions occurs via chemisorption and the process is endothermic （△H^0〉0）, irreversible （△S^0〉0） and nonspontaneous （△G^0〉0）.

Objective： To investigated the anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects of anthocyanins extracted from black soybean on the chronic bacterial prostatitis（CBP） rat ***： The SpragueDawley rats were divided into 4 groups,including control,ciprofloxacin,anthocyanins and anthocyanins with ciprofloxacin groups（n=8 in each group）.Then,drip infusion of bacterial suspension（Escherichia coli Z17O2：K1：H^-） into Sprague-Dawley rats was conducted to induce *** 4 weeks,results of prostate tissue,urine culture,and histological analysis on the prostate were analyzed for each ***： The use of ciprofloxacin,anthocyanins,and anthocyanins with ciprofloxacin showed statistically significant decreases in bacterial growth and improvements in the reduction of prostatic inflammation compared with the control group（P〈0.05）.The anthocyanins with ciprofloxacin group showed a statistically significant decrease in bacterial growth and improvement in prostatic inflammation compared with the ciprofloxacin group（P〈0.05）.Conclusions： These results suggest that anthocyanins may have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects,as well as a synergistic effect with ***,we suggest that the combination of anthocyanins and ciprofloxacin may be effective in treating CBP to obtain a higher rate of treatment success.

This paper presents an optimal checkpoint strategy for fault-tolerance in real-time systems where transient faults occur in Poisson distribution. In our environment, multiple real-time tasks with different deadlines and harmonic periods are scheduled in the system by rate-monotonic algorithm, and checkpoints are inserted at a constant interval in each task. When a fault is detected, the system carries out rollback to the latest checkpoint and re-executes tasks. The maximum number of re-executable checkpoints and an equation to check schedulability are derived, and the optimal number of checkpoints is selected to maximize the probability of completing all the tasks within their deadlines.

In this study,the influence of sodium hydroxide(NaOH)treatment and microwave treatment of coir fibers on the mechanical and physical properties of pressed coir fiber/epoxy composite were *** composite was fabricated with a hand lay-up method with compression *** composite fabrication,pressed coir fiber was treated with NaOH and microwave *** testing(tensile,flexural,and impact testing)of the composite was ***,water absorption and thickness swelling testing are also *** fractured composite surface morphology after the tensile test was analyzed by scanning electronic microscopy(SEM).The results revealed that tensile,flexural,and impact strengths of composite tend to increase after NaOH treatment of coir fiber followed by microwave treatment for 10 and 20 minutes of exposure time compared to untreated ***,for NaOH treatment,the tensile,flexural and,impact strengths of composite *** reducing of the tensile strength of the composite is due to the agglomeration fiber occurred,which is displayed in the SEM ***,microwave treatment of fiber for 10 minutes and NaOH treatment followed by microwave treatment for 20 minutes of exposure time decreases the water absorption and thickness swelling of the composite.

Effect of PEG Incorporation on Physicochemical and in vitro Degradation of PLLA/PDLLA Blends:Application in Biodegradable Implants

Polyethylene glycol(PEG)was added at different concentrations to the blend of poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)and poly(D,L-lactic acid)(PDLLA)to tailor the *** differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)measurement showed that all blends were miscible due to shifting a single glass transition temperature into a lower temperature for increasing PEG *** DSC,FTIR,and XRD results implied the crystallinity enhancement for PEG content until 8 wt%,then decreased at 12 wt%*** XRD result indicated the homo crystalline phase formation in all blends and no stereocomplex *** in vitro degradation study indicated that PEG content is proportional to the degradation *** highest weight loss after 28 days was achieved at 12 wt%*** FTIR analysis showed a structural evolution overview during hydrolytic degradation,*** and decreasing crystallinity during 14 days for the blend without and with PEG,*** conclusion,the PEG addition increased crystallinity and degradation rate of the PLLA/PDLLA mixture,but PEG higher amounts led to a decrease in crystallinity,and the weight loss was *** can be useful for tuning PLA-based biomaterials with the desired physicochemical properties and appropriate degradation rates for applications in drug delivery/tissue engineering.
