Kear Editor,Individuals in isolated,confined,and extreme environments,such as astronauts,researchers wintering over Antarctica,submarine soldiers,and participants in simulated isolation environment experiments,commonly report difficulty in focusing their attention[1,2].However,current experimental findings from studies conducted in such environments are insufficient to fully support these self-reports of reduced *** attention-demanding tasks such as simple reaction time(RT)tasks and dual tasks,including primary pursuit tracking and secondary RT,were not affected in space flight experiments[2,3].

Optical coherence tomography(OCT)allows a direct and precise measurement of laser welding depth by coaxially measuring the keyhole depth and can be used for process monitoring and *** OCT measurement was taken during single-beam laser welding,the keyhole instability of aluminum welding resulted in highly scattered OCT data and complicated the welding depth extraction *** a combination of an inner core beam and an outer ring beam,a novel adjustable ring mode(ARM)laser for producing a stable keyhole was applied to the OCT *** ARM laser power arrangements were conducted on aluminum and *** results indicated that the ring beam greatly improved the stability of the core beam-induced keyhole,and smooth welding depth can be extracted from the concentrated OCT data.

During spaceflight,the cardiovascular system undergoes remarkable adaptation to microgravity and faces the risk of cardiac ***,the effects and mechanisms of microgravity on cardiac morphology,physiology,metabolism,and cellular biology need to be further *** china started constructing the china Space Station(CSS)in 2021,we have taken advantage of the Shenzhou-13 capsule to send human pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes(hPSC-CMs)to the Tianhe core module of the *** this study,hPSC-CMs subjected to space microgravity showed decreased beating rate and abnormal intracellular calcium *** and transcriptomic analyses revealed a battery of metabolic remodeling of hPSC-CMs in spaceflight,especially thiamine *** microgravity condition blocked the thiamine intake in *** decline of thiamine utilization under microgravity or by its antagonistic analog amprolium affected the process of the tricarboxylic acid *** decreased ATP production,which led to cytoskeletal remodeling and calcium homeostasis imbalance in *** importantly,in vitro and in vivo studies suggest that thiamine supplementation could reverse the adaptive changes induced by simulated *** study represents the first astrobiological study on the china Space Station and lays a solid foundation for further aerospace biomedical *** data indicate that intervention of thiamine-modified metabolic reprogramming in human cardiomyocytes during spaceflight might be a feasible countermeasure against microgravity.

A pressure-adaptive seal is developed to meet the demands of quick assembling and disassembling for an individual protection equipment in *** analysis model,which reflects the main characteristics of the seal structure,is built based on the finite element method and the Roth’s theory of rubber seal,and verified by the prototype *** influences of precompression ratio,hardness of the sealing ring rubber,and friction coefficient on the sealing performance are investigated by variable parameter *** show that the model can describe the essential characteristics of the pressure-adaptive seal structure,which has good follow-up to the cavity pressure to achieve the purpose of pressure *** leakage rate correlates negatively with the precompression ratio of the sealing ring and the hardness of the sealing ring material,while is positively related to the friction coefficient between the sealing ring and the sealing *** maximum contact stress on sealing surface has negative correlation with the precompression ratio of the sealing ring,and positive correlation with the hardness of the seal ring *** damage risk of the sealing ring increases with the increases of the precompression ratio of sealing ring,hardness of sealing ring material,and friction coefficient.

A system of systems(SoS)composes a set of independent constituent systems(CSs),where the degree of authority to control the independence of CSs varies,depending on different SoS *** researchers describe four SoS types with descending levels of central authority:directed,acknowledged,collaborative and *** the definitions have been recognized in SoS engineering,what is challenging is the difficulty of translating these definitions into models and simulation ***,we provide a goal-based method including a mathematical baseline to translate these definitions into more effective agent-based modeling and ***,we construct the theoretical models of CS and *** on the theoretical models,we analyze the degree of authority influenced by SoS ***,we propose a definition of SoS types by quantitatively explaining the degree of ***,we recognize the differences between acknowledged SoS and collaborative SoS using a migrating waterfowl flock by an agentbased model(ABM)*** paper contributes to the SoS body of knowledge by increasing our understanding of the degree of authority in an SoS,so we may identify suitable SoS types to achieve SoS goals by modeling and simulation.

Human beings are usually exposed to microwaves originated from the equipment in industry,communication,military,and aerospace,which has led to interest in health effects of long-term low level microwave radiation exposure,particularly on the brain,one of the most sensitive organs to microwaves[1].Morris water maze,oxidative stress related typical markers of corticosteroids(CORT),malondialdehyde(MDA),catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and total antioxidant capacity(TAOC),ultrastructure,dendritic spine growth and molecular signaling pathway are important indicators in the study of learning and memory effects[2].Among them,Synbindin(Sbdn),closely associated to dendritic spine growth,learning and memory,was found to be a remarkable microwave sensitive molecule in our previous work[3]..Additionally,it’s well known that both the CA1 and Dentate Gyrus(DG)regions of the hippocampus are involved in learning and memory,however studies on the effect of microwave on DG region were less,so,this paper further focused on DG region in the study of dendrite spine,ultrastructure of neurons and phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase(pERK)protein ***,Synbindin was focused on and the above indicators were integrated in this paper to study the influence and mechanism of long-term low-intensity 2,100 MHz microwave on learning and memory.

Serving the Stewart mechanism as a wheel-legged structure,the most outstanding superiority of the proposed wheel-legged hybrid robot(WLHR)is the active vibration isolation function during rolling on rugged ***,it is difficult to obtain its precise dynamic model,because of the nonlinearity and uncertainty of the heavy *** paper presents a dynamic control framework with a decentralized structure for single wheel-leg,position tracking based on model predictive control(MPC)and adaptive impedance module from inside to *** the Newton-Euler dynamic model of the Stewart mechanism,the controller first creates a predictive model by combining Newton-Raphson iteration of forward kinematic and inverse kinematic calculation of *** actuating force naturally enables each strut to stretch and retract,thereby realizing six degrees-of-freedom(6-DOFs)position-tracking for Stewart *** adaptive impedance control in the outermost loop adjusts environmental impedance parameters by current position and force feedback of wheel-leg along *** adjustment allows the robot to adequately control the desired support force tracking,isolating the robot body from vibration that is generated from unknown *** availability of the proposed control methodology on a physical prototype is demonstrated by tracking a Bezier curve and active vibration isolation while the robot is rolling on decelerate *** comparing the proportional and integral(PI)and constant impedance controllers,better performance of the proposed algorithm was operated and evaluated through displacement and force sensors internally-installed in each cylinder,as well as an inertial measurement unit(IMU)mounted on the robot *** proposed algorithm structure significantly enhances the control accuracy and vibration isolation capacity of parallel wheel-legged robot.

The synchronous construction of metal phosphate and phosphorus-doped carbon structures is of great significance to innovate the design,synthesis,and application of catalysts,as these phosphoruscontaining composite materials have shown a remarkable contribution to ***,their preparation procedure generally involves using large amounts of excess phosphorus sources for phosphorization,which inevitably release poisonous PH_(3) or dangerous phosphorus ***,a strategy for in-situ formation of FePO_(4) embedded in P-doped carbon 2D nano film(FePO_(4)/PdC)is developed using a highly integrated precursor,which is a small molecular organophosphine ligand,1,1’bis(diphenylphosphine)ferrocene(DPPF).The multi-source precursor DPPF that contains Fe,P,and C is molecular-vapor-deposited on the nickel foam(NF)supported ZIF-67 nanosheets to obtain the composite catalyst,namely DPPF-500/ZIF-67/***_(4)/PdC encapsulated the ZIF-67 derived Co/N-doped carbon matrix(Co NC)to form a sandwich structure FePO_(4)/PdC@*** constructed catalyst shows good performance for OER,requiring an overpotential of only 297 m V to deliver 600 m A/cm^(2) with a Tafel slope of 42.7 m V dec^(-1).DFT calculations demonstrate that the synergistic effects between the metal active center and P-doped carbon film reduce the energy barriers and improve electron *** method of constructing P-containing catalysts overcomes the demand for additional P sources to realize eco-friendly fabrication and yields a unique structure with good catalytic activity.
