The immune response holds a pivotal role in cardiovascular disease *** multifunctional cells of the innate immune system,macrophages play an essential role in initial inflammatory response that occurs following cardiovascular injury,thereby inducing subsequent damage while also facilitating ***,the diverse phenotypes and phenotypic alterations of macrophages strongly associate with distinct types and severity of cardiovascular diseases,including coronary heart disease,valvular disease,myocarditis,cardiomyopathy,heart failure,atherosclerosis and aneurysm,which underscores the importance of investigating macrophage regulatory mechanisms within the context of specific ***,recent strides in single-cell sequencing technologies have revealed macrophage heterogeneity,cell–cell interactions,and downstream mechanisms of therapeutic targets at a higher resolution,which brings new perspectives into macrophage-mediated mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets in cardiovascular ***,myocardial fibrosis,a prevalent characteristic in most cardiac diseases,remains a formidable clinical challenge,necessitating a prof.und investigation into the impact of macrophages on myocardial fibrosis within the context of cardiac *** this review,we systematically summarize the diverse phenotypic and functional plasticity of macrophages in regulatory mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases and unprecedented insights introduced by singlecell sequencing technologies,with a focus on different causes and characteristics of diseases,especially the relationship between inflammation and fibrosis in cardiac diseases(myocardial infarction,pressure overload,myocarditis,dilated cardiomyopathy,diabetic cardiomyopathy and cardiac aging)and the relationship between inflammation and vascular injury in vascular diseases(atherosclerosis and aneurysm).Finally,we also highlight the preclinical/clinical macrophage targeting strategies and translational

Histone H3 Lys36(H3K36)methylation and its associated modifiers are crucial for DNA double-strand break(DSB)repair,but the mechanism governing whether and how different H3K36 methylation forms impact repair pathways is ***,we unveil the distinct roles of H3K36 dimethylation(H3K36me2)and H3K36 trimethylation(H3K36me3)in DSB repair via non-homologous end joining(NHEJ)or homologous recombination(HR).Yeast cells lacking H3K36me2 or H3K36me3 exhibit reduced NHEJ or HR efficiency.y Ku70 and Rfa1 bind H3K36me2-or H3K36me3-modified peptides and chromatin,*** these interactions impairs y Ku70 and Rfa1 recruitment to damaged H3K36me2-or H3K36me3-rich loci,increasing DNA damage sensitivity and decreasing repair ***,H3K36me2-enriched intergenic regions and H3K36me3-enriched gene bodies independently recruit y Ku70 or Rfa1 under DSB ***,human KU70 and RPA1,the homologs of y Ku70 and Rfa1,exclusively associate with H3K36me2 and H3K36me3 in a conserved *** findings provide valuable insights into how H3K36me2 and H3K36me3 regulate distinct DSB repair pathways,highlighting H3K36 methylation as a critical element in the choice of DSB repair pathway.

N6-methyladenosine(m6A)is an important RNA methylation modification involved in regulating diverse biological processes across multiple ***,the identification of m6A modification sites provides valuable insight into the biological mechanisms of complex diseases at the post-transcriptional *** a variety of identification algorithms have been proposed recently,most of them capture the features of m6A modification sites by focusing on the sequential dependencies of nucleotides at different positions in RNA sequences,while ignoring the structural dependencies of nucleotides in their threedimensional *** overcome this issue,we propose a cross-species end-to-end deep learning model,namely CR-NSSD,which conduct a cross-domain representation learning process integrating nucleotide structural and sequential dependencies for RNA m6A site ***,CR-NSSD first obtains the pre-coded representations of RNA sequences by incorporating the position information into single-nucleotide states with chaos game representation *** then constructs a crossdomain reconstruction encoder to learn the sequential and structural dependencies between *** minimizing the reconstruction and binary cross-entropy losses,CR-NSSD is trained to complete the task of m6A site *** experiments have demonstrated the promising performance of CR-NSSD by comparing it with several state-of-the-art m6A identification ***,the results of cross-species prediction indicate that the integration of sequential and structural dependencies allows CR-NSSD to capture general features of m6A modification sites among different species,thus improving the accuracy of cross-species identification.

The therapeutic outcomes of conventional oral medications against ulcerative colitis(UC)are restricted by inefficient drug delivery to the colitis mucosa and weak capacity to modulate the inflammatory ***,a fluorinated pluronic(FP127)was synthesized and employed to functionalize the surface of mulberry leaf-derived nanoparticles(MLNs)loading with resveratrol nanocrystals(RNs).The obtained FP127@RN-MLNs possessed exosome-like morphologies,desirable particle sizes(around 171.4 nm),and negatively charged surfaces(−14.8 mV).The introduction of FP127 to RN-MLNs greatly improved their stability in the colon and promoted their mucus infiltration and mucosal penetration capacities due to the unique fluorine effect.

Catalytic transfer hydrogenation(CTH)is a green and efficient pathway for selective hydrogenation of unsaturated aldehydes and ***,managing the abilities of solid catalysts to adsorb substrates and to convert them into desired products is a challenging ***,we report the synthesis of carbon coated LaFe_(0.92)Pd_(0.08)O_(3) composites(LFPO-8@C)for CTH of benzaldehyde(BzH)into benzyl alcohol(BzOH),using isopropanol(IPA)as hydrogen *** coating with carbon improves the ability to adsorb/transfer reactants from solution to active sites,and the doping of Pd2+at Fe3+site strengthens the ability of LaFeO_(3) to convert BzH into BzOH.A balanced point between them(i.e.,abilities to adsorb BzH and to convert BzH into BzOH)is obtained at LFPO-8@C,which exhibits a BzOH formation rate of 3.88 mmol·gcat^(-1)·h^(-1) at 180℃ for 3 h,which is 1.50 and 2.72 times faster than those of LFPO-8 and LaFeO_(3)@C.A reaction mechanism is proposed,in which the acidic sites(e.g.,Fe^(4+),oxygen vacancy)are used for the activation of C=O bond of BzH and O-H bond of IPA,and the basic sites(e.g.,lattice oxygen)for the activation ofα-H(O-H)bond of IPA.

Battery energy storage systems(BESSs)are widely used in smart ***,power consumed by inner impedance and the capacity degradation of each battery unit become particularly severe,which has resulted in an increase in operating *** general economic dispatch(ED)algorithm based on marginal cost(MC)consensus is usually a proportional(P)controller,which encounters the defects of slow convergence speed and low control *** order to solve the distributed ED problem of the isolated BESS network with excellent dynamic and steady-state performance,we attempt to design a proportional integral(PI)controller with a reset mechanism(PI+R)to asymptotically promote MC consensus and total power mismatch towards 0 in this *** be frank,the integral term in the PI controller is reset to 0 at an appropriate time when the proportional term undergoes a zero crossing,which accelerates convergence,improves control accuracy,and avoids *** eigenvalues of the system under a PI+R controller is well analyzed,ensuring the regularity of the system and enabling the reset *** ensure supply and demand balance within the isolated BESSs,a centralized reset mechanism is introduced,so that the controller is distributed in a flow set and centralized in a jump *** cope with Zeno behavior and input delay,a dwell time that the system resides in a flow set is *** on this,the system with input delays can be reduced to a time-delay free *** the capacity limitation of the battery,a modified MC scheme with PI+R controller is *** correctness of the designed scheme is verified through relevant simulations.
