Understanding the catalysis of chromium trioxide added magnesium hydride for hydrogen storage and Li ion battery applications

This study explores how the chemical interaction between magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))and the additive CrO_(3) influences the hydrogen/lithium storage characteristics of MgH_(2).We have observed that a 5 wt.%CrO_(3) additive reduces the dehydrogenation activation energy of MgH_(2) by 68 kJ/mol and lowers the required dehydrogenation temperature by 80℃.CrO_(3) added MgH_(2) was also tested as an anode in an Li ion battery,and it is possible to deliver over 90%of the total theoretical capacity(2038 mAh/g).Evidence for improved reversibility in the battery reaction is found only after the incorporation of additives with MgH_(2).In depth characterization study by X-ray diffraction(XRD)technique provides convincing evidence that the CrO_(3) additive interacts with MgH_(2) and produces Cr/MgO *** free energy analyses confirm the thermodynamic feasibility of conversion from MgH_(2)/CrO_(3) to MgO/Cr,which is well supported by the identification of Cr(0)in the powder by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)we found evidence for the presence of 5 nm size Cr nanocrystals on the surface of MgO rock salt *** is also convincing ground to consider that MgO rock salt accommodates Cr in the *** observations support the argument that creation of active metal–metal dissolved rock salt oxide interface may be vital for improving the reactivity of MgH_(2),both for the improved storage of hydrogen and lithium.

By means of analyzing the frequency spectrum characteristics of domestic frequency- shift track signal we propose a technical improvement solution to it based on the orthogonal theory and demodulation technology in modern digital signal processing to guaranteed the solution accomplishes the optimized reception at the receiver, thereby enhance system reliability and quality. At same time we simulated this solution with MATLAB, and implemented it on the vc33 experimental platform of floating- point Digital Signal Processing (DSP).

Evaluation of pneumatic inclined deck separator for high-ash Indian coals

application of pneumatic separators in coal beneficiation is increasing rapidly over the last decade primarily due to their low capital and operating costs, and waste handling problems associated with traditional wet processing methods. Large amount of shale/rock that is extracted in coal production can be removed prior to transportation at the mine face by using this methodology. Due to the limited washing facilities in India, most of the thermal power plants burn raw coal from run-of-mine （ROM） to generate electricity. This practice causes poor utilization efficiency, high operating and maintenance costs, and high emission rates for the power plants. One potential method that can be utilized is the air-fluidized inclined vibrating deck technology. The technology was demonstrated on a pilot-scale at different coal washeries in India at a feed rate of 5-ton per hour. The pilot-scale evaluation showed that 20 %-25 % high-ash incombustible material can be eliminated from ROM feed with only minor losses in energy content （〈10 %） from respective ROM coal. Furthermore, a feasibility analysis showed significant economic gains in terms of transportation cost, improving power-plant efficiency, and reducing emissions rates by using the technology.

GA signaling protein LsRGL1 interacts with the abscisic acid signaling-related gene LsWRKY70 to affect the bolting of leaf lettuce

A variety of endogenous hormone signals,developmental cues,and environmental stressors can trigger and promote leaf lettuce *** such factor is gibberellin(GA),which has been linked to ***,the signaling pathways and the mechanisms that regulate the process have not been discussed in full *** clarify the potential role of GAs in leaf lettuce,significant enrichment of GA pathway genes was found by RNA-seq,among which the LsRGL1 gene was considered *** overexpression of LsRGL1,a noticeable inhibition of leaf lettuce bolting was observed,whereas its knockdown by RNA interference led to an increase in *** situ hybridization analysis indicated a significant accumulation of LsRGL1 in the stem tip cells of overexpressing *** lettuce plants stably expressing LsRGL1 were examined concerning differentially expressed genes through RNA-seq analysis,and the data indicated enhanced enrichment of these genes in the‘plant hormone signal transduction’and‘phenylpropanoid biosynthesis’***,significant changes in LsWRKY70 gene expression were identified in COG(Clusters of Orthologous Groups)functional *** results of yeast one-hybrid,β-glucuronidase(GUS),and biolayer interferometry(BLI)experiments showed that LsRGL1 proteins directly bind to the LsWRKY70 *** LsWRKY70 by virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)can delay bolting,regulate the expression of endogenous hormones,abscisic acid(ABA)-linked genes,and flowering genes,and improve the nutritional quality of leaf *** results strongly associate the positive regulation of bolting with LsWRKY70 by identifying its vital functions in the GA-mediated signaling *** data obtained in this research are invaluable for further experiments concerning the development and growth of leaf lettuce.

Study application of RADIUS Protocol on Ethernet

This paper presents how to apply the RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial In User Service)protocol ,which is generally applied to dial-up network, to the authentication & charge of Broad Band accessing control system on Ethernet. It is provided that the Broad Band accessing control system included a self-designed communication protocol is used in communicating between an terminal user and Network Access Server .The interface module on the servers side and the Radius system is also given in this article.
