Production and Nutritive Value of Shrub Legumes in West Timor, east nusa tenggara Province Indonesia

This study aimed to identify the potential of shrub legumes as protein feed in West Timor. Eight shrub legumes, i.e., Clitoria ternatea Q5455 （CT Q5455）, Clitoria ternatea millgara （CT millgara）, Centrosema pascuorum bundey （CP bundey）, Centrosema pascuorum molle （CP molle）, Macroptilium bracteatum juanita （MB Juanita）, Macroptilium bracteatum cadaarga （MB cadaarga）, Dolichos lablab （DL） and Stylossanthes seabrana （SS） were evaluated for their yield and nutritive value in Randomized Block Design. Each legume was cultivated in four plots of different soil fertility as block （5 ~ 5 m2 per plot）. Phosphorus （P） fertilizer was applied once just before planting at level of 50 kg ha~. Watering was done three times per week using sprinkler. The legumes were harvested at 120 days after planting （dap） in three sub-plots of 1 x 1 m2 size for their yield measurement. Samples of each legume was taken for Dry Matter （DM）, Organic Matter （OM）, Crude Protein （CP）, cellulose, hemi-cellulose and lignin content and in vitro DM, OM and CP digestibility test. Data were statistically analyzed using Genstat release 12.2. The results showed that the legumes showed significantly different （P 〈 0.01） in biomass yield. The highest biomass yield was shown by SS （6,739 kg DM ha-l; 6,120 kg OM ha1 and 1,224 kg CP hal） and the lowest was by DL （1,294 kg DM ha^-1; 1,157 kg OM ha^-1 and 242 kg CP ha^-1）. In general, there was no significant difference （P 〉 0.05） of DM digestibility of the eight legumes, except for DL which showed significantly highest （P 〈 0.01） DM and OM digestibility compared to the other.

The Effect of Timor Island Legumes on Body Weight Gain of Post Weaning Bali Cattles

One major problem is the high mortality of calves due to feed shortages during the dry season. To overcome this problem, it needs feeding strategies based on local resources that can be provided by farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine body weight gain （BWG） of post weaning Bali cattle fed with legume. The study was conducted in experimental garden Lili, Kupang and designed with completely randomized design （CRD） 4 × 5; four kinds of legumes were used as treatment, such as：（1） Centrosema pascuorum; （2） Clitoria ternatea; （3） Desmodium sp.; （4） Leucaena leucocephala. Cattles used as the subject were separated into five groups based on body weight as the replication. The experimental data was tabulated and analyzed by covariance analysis （GenStat） and financial analysis （for analyzing revenue and real cost during the study）. The result shows that legume feeding of Leucaena leucocephala at the second, fifth, eighth and ninth week have no significant effect （P 〈 0.05） to BWG, but shows significant effect （P 〈 0.05） to BWG at the fourth week. The feeding of Centrosema pascuorum, Clitoria ternatea, Desmodium sp. and Leucaena leucocephala to post weaning Bali cattle showed higher feed consumption and higher BWG, especially in Leucaena leucocephala treatment. Feeding legume to post weaning Bali cattle is also economically profitable （return/cost （R/C） ratio 〉 1）.

Objective:To examine the potential risk of hepatitis B virus(HBV)spread in Indonesia by migrant workers,based on the molecular characteristics of HBV ***:Sera collected from migrant workers traveling to their destination countries(pre-migrant workers)and those returning to Indonesia(post-migrant workers)were screened for HBsAg by ELISA,followed by HBV DNA detection by PCR and(sub)genotype/subtype determination according to surface region and whole genome ***:Of 87 pre-migrant workers,15(17.24%)were HBsAgpositive,whereas 15(12.10%)of 124 post-migrant workers were HBs Ag *** genotype analysis based on the S region showed that HBV-B3/adw2 was predominant(96.15%,25/26)whereas 3.85%(1/26)of isolates were HBV-C3/adrq+.Whole genome sequencing of selected strains and phylogenetic tree analysis identified subgenotype B7 in three samples previously categorized as subgenotype B3 based on S region analysis,supporting a recent argument that subgenotypes B5/B7/B8/B9 could be considered as a quasi-subgenotype of ***:A high prevalence of HBsAg carriers was detected among migrant workers from Lombok Island,with no significant difference in prevalence between before and after returning to *** strains were classified into genotypes common in Indonesia,and the results suggested that migrant workers are not a risk factor for HBV transmission into Indonesia.

In this paper, the effection to hydrocarbon of the physical properties of the third member of Shahejie Formation in Dawangzhuang area is *** logging data analysis, the oil-saturation grade of Es3 in Dawangzhuang region can be divided into rich in oil, oil imersiond, oil spots, fluorescence . In this paper, the factors of oil- bearing were analyzed. The method mainly is by mercury experiments, porosity and permeability analysis to obtain experimental data, then drawing cross-Plot.

The commodification of cultural heritage has positive implications to encourage the creativity of cultural artists and aboriginal in creating variants of cultural products as an improvement of prosperity;however,it can also has negative implications,such as a shift or loss of the essence of cultural and religious sounds that is able to lead to conflict,natural destruction,sexual services,and *** negative implications can be overcome by the participatory of all stakeholders in preserving the sustainability of cultural heritage as *** study focused on three ***,the patterns of aboriginals’participatory in preserving cultural heritage as a ***,the level of aboriginals’response to ***,the aboriginals’complaint in preserving cultural heritage as a *** accordance with these problems,the operational definition of study is the concept of cultural heritage tourism,tourist attraction,aboriginal,and traditional village of *** theoretical review used to analyze the problem is community participatory theory in tourism development by Tosun and Irridex theory of attitude change of aboriginal by *** qualitative descriptive study is located in traditional village of Bena,Bajawa,Ngada Regency,east nusa tenggara with the selection of informants who understand the *** results of the study indicate that the aboriginals’participatory is *** level of aboriginals’response is apathy *** several complaints in preserving cultural heritage involving a great expense of traditional house maintenance,the processing time of traditional woven and the emergence of modern ja’i dance and music.
