Fossil fluids from petroleum basins are present in diagenetic minerals as fluid inclusions. They are the witnesses of the original oil or gas composition and the memory of the pressure and temperature conditions at the time of fluid emplacement. Brines are always present as non-miscible phase at equilibrium with oils in reservoir. The analytical procedure is based on the individual analysis of both aqueous and petroleum inclusions. Temperature of phase transitions is measured by microthermometry, dissolved methane content of aqueous inclusions is quantified by Raman spectrometry, Ch4 and CO2 content of petroleum inclusions is approximated by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and the volume of petroleum inclusions is reconstructed by confocal scanning laser microscopy. Thermodynamic models are based on duan and Peng-Robinson equations of state and are applied to aqueous and petroleum inclusions respectively. The intersection of the isochores of the two fluid systems gives the true pressure and temperature conditions of fluid trapping. The knowledge of the fluid pressure allows us to reconstruct the hydrodynamic evolution of reservoirs in various geodynamic regimes. Introduction

Cesium heteropolysalts Cs3PMo12O40 and hCs3PVMo11O40 were synthesized by modifying the preparation conditions in order to get materials with a much higher surface area than the original Keggin-type heteropolyacids(h3PMo12O40 and h4PVMo11O40).These solids were used as carriers for the dispersion of h4PVMo11O40 heteropolyacid by the incipient wetness impregnation *** textural and structural properties of supports and catalysts were examined by scanning electron microscopy,N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms and Raman *** supported catalysts were studied before and after red/ox pretreatments by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,which showed that both the surface composition and oxidized to reduced species ratio depend on the used *** catalytic performances of these novel supported catalysts in the selective oxidation of isobutane to methacrylic acid and methacrolein were *** best catalytic properties were obtained when h4PVMo11O40 was supported on *** isobutane conversion and yield of the desired oxygenates increased along the unsupported h4PVMo11O40h4PVMo11O40/Cs3PMo12O40h4PVMo11O40/hCs3PVMo11O40 series.

Future constructions in the context of the industrial wastelands reuse may be exposed to Vapor Intrusion(VI).VI can be evaluated by combining in-situ measures and analytical models to evaluate exposure risk in future indoor ***,the assumptions in the existing models may reduce their accuracy when they do not meet the characteristics of real *** estimations of indoor concentration levels may lead to inappropriate solutions against *** this context,new semi-empirical models(SEM)are proposed in order to better specify pollution scenarios and thus increase the accuracy of VI *** development is based on a parametric study(numerical CFD)and a dimensionless analysis combined to existing VI models that consider a continuous source distribution in the *** expressions allow to better take into account the source position in the soil(*** and lateral source/building separation),soil properties(air permeability,diffusion coefficient of the pollutant,…)and building features(building foundation,indoor pressure,air exchange rate,…)in the estimation of indoor concentration *** obtained results with the proposed SEM were compared with a numerical CFD model and available experimental data,showing good accuracy in the estimation of *** the advantages of these new models,they can provide better precision in the health risk assessments associated with ***,these expressions can be easily integrated into building ventilation codes allowing to consider air exchange rate and indoor pressure variations over time.

We present a rigorous theoretical model for the influence of the aperture in interferometric out-of-focus imaging. We investigate the role of this effect on the properties of speckle-like patterns generated by irregular, rough particles. Finally, we determine the conditions under which these patterns are no longer representative of particle size but of the aperture itself and the defocus parameter.

Low-electrode capacitive deionization(FCDI)is an emerging desalination technology with great potential for removal and/or recycling ions from a range of ***,it still suffers from inefficient charge transfer and ion transport kinetics due to weak turbulence and low electric intensity in flow electrodes,both restricted by the current ***,a new tip-array current collector(designated as T-CC)was developed to replace the conventional planar current collectors,which intensifies both the charge transfer and ion transport *** effects of tip arrays on flow and electric fields were studied by both computational simulations and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,which revealed the reduction of ion transport barrier,charge transport barrier and internal *** the voltage increased from 1.0 to 1.5 and 2.0 V,the T-CC-based FCDI system(T-FCDI)exhibited average salt removal rates(ASRR)of 0.18,0.50,and 0.89μmol cm^(-2) min^(-1),respectively,which are 1.82,2.65,and 2.48 folds higher than that of the conventional serpentine current collectors,and 1.48,1.67,and 1.49 folds higher than that of the planar current ***,with the solid content in flow electrodes increased from 1 to 5 wt%,the ASRR for T-FCDI increased from 0.29 to 0.50μmol cm^(-2) min^(-1),which are 1.70 and 1.67 folds higher than that of the planar current ***,a salt removal efficiency of 99.89%was achieved with T-FCDI and the charge efficiency remained above 95%after 24 h of operation,thus showing its superior long-term stability.

Crystal structure, magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effects （MCE） of La1-xBixFe1 1.4Si1.6 （x=0.0 and 0.1） compounds were investigated by X-ray diffraction and magnetization measurements. The La1-xBixFe11.4Si1.6 compounds presented a cubic NaZnx3 type structure. First, the magnetization behavior and the magnetic transition were analyzed in terms of Landau theory. Then, Bi substitution for La in La1-xBixFe11.4Si1.6 compounds led to a decrease in magnetic entropy change （-△SM^max） but an increase in Curie temperature （Tc） significantly. The significant increase of Tc by Bi substitution from 202.5 to 256 K for x=0.0 and x=0.1 respectively was attributed to an increase in the Fe-Fe exchange interactions. Moreover, magnetocaloric effect was calculated in terms of isothermal magnetic entropy change. The maximum values of （-△SM^max ） of La1-xBixFe11.4Si1.6 for x=-0.0 and 0.1 compounds were found to be, respectively, 22.56 and 4.36 J/（kg.K） under an applied magnetic field change of 5 T. For the same applied magnetic field （μ0h=5 T）, the relative cooling power （RCP） values were found to vary between 487 and 296 J/kg.

In this paper,the thermo-hydro-mechanical(ThM)response of claystone is studied via a series of parametric studies,considering the evolution of mechanical properties and deformation behavior of corroded *** numerical simulations are performed by using a coupled ThM finite element code and two different constitutive models:a visco-elastoplastic model for geological formation and a von Mises type model for steel *** mechanical properties and deformation behavior of corroded steel are described in a conceptual ***,a disposal tunnel supported by a steel liner is studied and a series of parametric studies is defined to demonstrate the corrosion effects of steel liner on the ThM response of the *** comparison of different numerical calculations exhibits that the volumetric expansion related to corrosion products has an important impact on the stress and displacement fields in the claystone surrounding the disposal ***,the evolutions of temperature and liquid pressure in the claystone are essentially controlled by its ThM properties and independent of the steel corrosion.

Two-flux method can be used, as a simplification for the radiative heat transfer, to predict heat flux in a slab consisting of gas and particles. In the original two-flux method (Schuster, 1905 and Schwarzschild, 1906), the radiation field was assumed to be isotropic. But for gas-particles mixture in combustion environments, the scatterings of particles are usually anisotropic, and the original two-flux method gives critical errors when ignoring this anisotropy. In the present paper, a multilayer four-flux model developed by Rozé et al. (2001) is extended to calculate the radiation heat flux in a slab containing participating particles and gas mixture. The analytic resolution of the radiative transfer equation in the framework of a two-flux approach is presented. The average crossing parameter ε and the forward scattering ratio ζ are defined to describe the anisotropy of the radiative field. To validate the model, the radiation transfer in a slab has been computed. Comparisons with the exact analytical result of Modest (1993) and the original two-flux model show the exactness and the improvement. The emissivity of a slab containing flyash/CO2/h2O mixture is obtained using the new model. The result is identical with that of Goodwin (1989).
