New methods are need to co.rdinate the co.flicting spatial demands through urban design research and strategies from the perspective of multi-scale urban climate *** integrate windethermal environment with urban design,we propose three scale levels,namely the district-superblock,superblock-block,and block-building levels,and divide the urban design elements into voids and ***,we establish a multiscale methodological framework in which the urban design co.tents are clarified by each scale,and the information transmitted between scales is obtained to ensure co.sistent value propositions and strategic *** microclimate shaping of the urban open space is transformed into guiding strategies and quantitative indicators of the spatial form of the solid *** is transmitted between the scales through the windethermal indicators of windward side and the morphological indicators of solid ***,the methodology was applied to the project in the co.e area of Suzhou Science and Technology City,and the findings preliminarily verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the *** research influences urban climate studies and urban design practice in three ways:1)improving understanding of the co.relation between scales;2)facilitating interaction between the two domains;and 3)providing tools for urban design practices.

Sedimentary facies identification is critical for carbonate oil and gas reservoir *** traditional method of sedimentary facies identification not only be affected by the engineer's experience but also takes a long *** carbonate sedimentary facies based on machine learning is the trend of future development and has the advantages of short time co.suming and reliable results without engineers'subjective *** many references reported the application of machine learning to identify lithofacies,but identifying sedimentary facies of carbonate reservoirs is much more challenging due to the co.plex sedimentary environment and tectonic *** paper co.pares the performance of the carbonate sedimentary facies identification using four different machine learning models,and the optimal machine learning with the highest prediction accuracy is ***,the carbonate sedimentary facies are classified into the lagoon,shallow sea,shoal,fore-shoal,and inter-shoal five tags based on the well ***,five well log curves including spectral gamma ray(SGR),uranium-free gamma ray(CGR),photoelectric absorption cross-section index(PE),true formation resistivity(RT),shallow lateral resistivity(RS)are used as the input,and the manual identified carbonate sedimentary facies are used as the output of the machine learning *** performance of four different machine learning algorithms,including support vector machine(SVM),deep neural network(DNN),long short-term memory(LSTM)network,and random forest(RF)are *** other two wells are used for model *** research results show that the RF method has the highest accuracy of sedimentary facies prediction,and the average prediction accuracy is 78.81%;the average accuracy of sedimentary facies prediction using SVM is 77.93%.The sedimentary facies predictions using DNN and LSTM are less satisfying co.pared with RF and SVM,and the average accuracy is 69.94%and 73.05%,respect

A wind turbine system equipped with a tuned liquid co.umn damper （TLCD） is co.prehensively studied via shaking table tests using a 1/13-scaled model. The effects of wind and wave actions are co.sidered by inputting response- equivalent accelerations on the shaking table. The test results show that the co.trol effect of the TLCD system is significant in reducing the responses under both wind-wave equivalent loads and ground motions, but obviously varies for different inputs, Further, a blade-hub-tower integrated numerical model for the wind turbine system is established. The model is capable of co.sidering the rotational effect of blades by co.bining Kane＇s equation with the finite element method. The responses of the wind tower equipped with TLCD devices are numerically obtained and co.pared to the test results, showing that under both co.trolled and unco.trolled co.ditions with and without blades＇ rotation, the co.responding responses exhibit good agreement. This demonstrates that the proposed numerical model performs well in capturing the wind-wave co.pled response of the offshore wind turbine systems under co.trol. Both numerical and experimental results show that the TLCD system can significantly reduce the structural response and thus improve the safety and serviceability of the offshore wind turbine tower systems. Additional issues that require further study are discussed.

The renewal of ancient cities is an important part of the urban renewal work in ***,there are few studies on the general historical ancient cities at the co.nty level in China,and there is no guidance on the renewal *** the practice of the renewal design project of Suining co.nty,Xuzhou City,it makes an exploratory study on the renewal co.cept and *** first interprets the co.notation and implementation path of the renewal co.cept of“endowing the old with the new”.Based on the texture analysis of the ancient city of Suining,it finally determines the design theme that tracing the historical co.text of the ancient *** the renewal techniques such as“extraction-transformationactivation”,through the renewal strategies such as“building new space,shaping new landscape,inheriting new culture and pregnant with new environment”,it realizes the regeneration of urban historical co.text and meets the needs of residents'modern life,so as to provide reference and guidance for the renovation of general historical ancient cities at the co.nty level in China.
