The properties of heat-resistant steel 309S at elevated properties were *** results revealed a rapid decrease in the short-time tensile strength at elevated *** 1 000 ℃,the yield strength and tensile strength are 14% and 7% of their respective values at room temperature,*** creep rupture strength was inferred in terms of the relationship between stress and duration time at high *** 1 000 h,the creep rupture strength is 37.98 MPa at 800 ℃,12.63 MPa at 900 ℃,and 7.27 MPa at 1 000 ℃.The fractures occurring at these high temperatures were intergranular in *** the experimental condition,the fatigue limit stress is 25 *** number of fatigue cycles and crack growth time decrease with increasing *** morphology analysis shows that the fatigue cracks initiate on the surface of the sample and propagate through transgranular expansion.

The radiant tube burner was modeled and analyzed by the numerical simulation method to investigate the influence factors and rules of NO_(x) emissions in a W-type radiant *** factors,which include air preheating temperature,excess air coefficient,and fuel gas composition,were modified to study their effects on NO_(x) emissions under varying working *** results were compared with the theoretical calculation value based on chemical reaction equilibrium theory and the onsite experimental value to verify the simulation *** results show that NO_(x) emissions rise with increasing air preheating ***_(x) production increases to an extreme value and then decreases during the oxygen-poor to oxygen-enriched process with the rise of the excess air *** the proportion of coke oven gas in the fuel gas raises the combustion temperature as well as the NO_(x) *** the thermal efficiency and NO_(x) emissions should be ***,the recommended values based on the simulation results are as follows:the air preheating temperature should not exceed 400℃,the excess air coefficient should be between 1.1 and 1.2,and the volume fraction of the coke oven gas should not exceed 30%.

The reaction kinetics of alloys based on magnesium are known to be greatly improved by the partial substitution of Mg with rare earths and transition metals,particularly *** enhanced superficial hydrogen dissociation rate,the weakened Mg-H bond and the lower activation energy following element replacement are thought to be related to the better *** experimental alloys Ce5Mg_(95-x)Ni_(x)(x=5,10,15)were smelted by the vacuum induction *** phase transformation and structural evolution of experimental alloys before and after reaction with hydrogen were char-acterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** cast specimens contain CeMg_(12),Mg and Mg_(2)Ni phases,and the increase in Ni content results in an obvious growth of Mg_(2)Ni *** isothermal and non-isothermal hydrogenation and dehydrogenation kinetics of the experimental specimens were investi-gated using the Sievert apparatus,differential scanning calorimetry and thermal gravimetric *** activation energy may be calculated using the Arrhenius and Kissinger *** experimental alloys have been shown to have good activation properties,with a reversible hydriding and dehydriding capacities of around 5.0 wt.%in the first *** initial dehydrogenation temperature of MgH_(2) decreases from 557.5 to 537.7 K with changing Ni content from 5 to 15 at.%.The dehydrogenation activation energy also reduces from 77.09 to 62.96 kJ/mol,which explains the improved hydrogen storage performance caused by Ni *** can be shown that the impact of Ni on the decomposition enthalpy of MgH_(2) is quite modest,with the absolute enthalpy(ΔHr)only decreasing from 78.48 to 76.15 kJ/mol.

High-efficiency production organization should be simple and "laminar". A one to one "laminar flow" operation mechanism is supposed to be accepted as a prerequisite to build high-efficiency clean steel "production platform". Concerning the fact that establishing a one to one "laminar flow" production pattern is impossible at Tangshan iron and steel Co., Ltd., "quasi-laminar flow" production pattern was evaluated. Result shows that rolling bar products of various specifications have great impact on the liquid steel supply model between BOF and CC. Considering the process matching issue of steelmaking-continuous casting-rolling process in bar production line, a "quasi-laminar flow" production pattern between BOF and CC was proposed according to different rolling specification in bar mills. Through analysis and research on current production pattern, combined with principles and strategy for BOF workshop control, and taking the plant layout into account, "quasi-laminar flow" production pattern was finally established. Moreover, Gantt chart of "quasi-laminar flow" production pattern was drawn. It is shown that the relative "order degree" of the "quasi-laminar flow" production pattern rises, which is conductive to production scheduling and ladle operation turnaround in comparison with "turbulence" production pattern. While a careful evaluation should be conducted due to the fluctuant temperature drop caused by the inevitable inserted heats and decreased operation rate of inserted BOF before adapting the production pattern.

(Fe_(73)Ga_(27−x)Al_(x))_(99.8)Tb_(0.2)(x=0,1,2,3,4,5)alloys were prepared by vacuum arc furnace to investigate the effect of Al addition on the microstructure,magnetic properties,and mechanical properties of *** show that the phase structure of the alloys is still A2 phase and Tb_(2)Fe_(17) phase,and the metallographic structure is composed of cellular crystal and columnar *** decrease in lattice constant,the intensification of(100)orientation,and the generation of Tb_(2)Fe_(17) phase at the grain boundary exert significant effect on the magnetostrictive *** fracture morphology of the alloys is intergranular brittle fracture and cleavage fracture,and the causes of fracture occurrence include the segregation of Tb and Al *** parallel magnetostrictive strain(λ_(∥))of(Fe_(73)Ga_(24)Al_(3))_(99.8)Tb_(0.2)alloy peaks at 1.04×10^(−4).It is worth noting that compared with those of(Fe_(73)Ga_(27))_(99.8)Tb_(0.2)alloy,theλ_(∥)and elongation of(Fe_(73)Ga_(26)Al_(1))_(99.8)Tb_(0.2)alloy increase by 18.3%and 53.4%,***,(Fe_(73)Ga_(26)Al_(1))_(99.8)Tb_(0.2)alloy possesses the characteristics of high saturation magnetization(Ms),low remanent magnetization(M_(r)),and coercivity(H_(c)),which is beneficial to reduce the cost in actual production,but its tensile strength and Vickers hardness decrease to a certain ***,the investigation on the micro-mechanism of Al addition on Fe-Ga alloys is of great significance for the development of Fe-Ga alloy devices.

Cohesive zone plays a vital role in the stable operation of a blast furnace(BF),yet the complex phase change process of iron ore particles in this zone is still not well *** this study,a novel one-dimensional(1D)unsteady phase change model was developed to elucidate the heat transfer and melting mechanisms of iron ore *** model validation,the effects of several key operating parameters(e.g.,particle diameter,gas velocity,initial temperature)on the phase change behavior of iron ore particles were analyzed,and the joint effect of multiple parameters was *** results show that larger-sized iron ore particles possess lower specific surface areas,which in turn reduces their convective heat absorption ***,the distance from the solid-liquid phase interface to the particle surface increases,thereby slowing down the movement of the phase interface and pro-longing the melting duration of the *** the gas velocity and the initial temperature does not have a significant impact on reducing the duration of the complete melting *** the specified conditions,it is observed that increasing the gas velocity by 3-fold and 9-fold results in a reduction of the melting duration by 2.4%and 8.3%,*** the initial temperature of iron ore particles results in a decrease in the core-to-surface temperature difference,a slower heating rate,and a shorter duration to achieve *** the factors affecting the melting process,the particle diameter is found to be the most significant in terms of the liquid phase precipitation,mushy zone thickness,and core-to-surface temperature difference of iron ore particles.
