The agro-pasturage ecotone in northern China is not only an important green ecosystem barrier but also an important economic belt. However, the extensive operation manner and harsh natural surroundings lead to the grassland degradation, low agricultural productivity and people living in poverty. In our study, the result has shown that the aboveground biomass and economic benefits of improved grassland, artificial perennial grassland and silage farmland have been increased greatly. Therefore, the development and construction of high-yield silage farmland and artificial perennial grassland in agro-pasturage ecotone not only increase the economic benefits but also protect the ecological environment.

[ Objective] To analyze the nutrient components of yak milk from different regions and provide a theoretical basis for further development and utilization of yak milk. [ Method] A total of 150 yak milk samples were collected from Tianzhu county, Maqu county and Tianjun county, and 90 yak milk samples were collected from three different yak farms in Tianzhu county. The content of milk protein, milk fat, fat solid, non-fat solid and lactose, as well as the density, freezing point and acidity were determined, respectively. [ Result] The milk protein content and milk fat content had significant differences between three regions. With the increasing altitude, the milk protein and milk fat were increased, but the content of fat solid, non-fat solid and lactose, density, freezing point and acidity had no obviously regular change. The milk protein content and milk fat content had no significant difference between three yak farms in Tianzhu county. [ Conclusion] The altitude may affect the milk protein content and milk fat content of yak milk.

Screening and Identification of A Probiotic from the Intestinal Tract of Mystus macropterus

A total of 25 strains were isolated from the intestinal tract of Mystus macropterus. The inhibitory effects of extracellular enzyme activity to common aquat- ic pathogenic bacteria were screened. A probiotic DQHY -7 strain was isolated, and its safety was detected. DQHY -7 strain was preliminarily identified by mor- phological observation, and physiological and biochemical test. Research results showed that DQHY -7 strain had relatively strong production capacities of amylase, cellulase and protease, and could restrict the growth of Escherichia coli, Aeromonas hydrophila and Pseudomonas fluorescens. Results of acute toxicity test showed that 1. 0 × 108 CFU/mL DQHY -7 bacterial suspension showed no pathogenicity to M. macropterus. According to the colony growth pattern and physiological-bio- chemical characteristics of DQHY -7, the strain was identified to be Bacillus subtilis. Research results showed that DQHY -7 strain could be used as a new candi- date strain for feeding microecologicalagent.

Tibet is one of the core distribution areas of the Chinese endemic plant Euonymus sanguineus,but the population decline is obvious. In order to protect and develop the plant resources in Tibet rationally,the ecological environment and growth conditions in Milin county,Nyingchi City,Tibet were investigated by means of sampling method in order to provide the theoretical basis for the protection,introduction,breeding and cultivation of E. sanguineus. The results were as follows:( i) The population quantity of E. sanguineus was too small and the survival area was too small,which seriously affected the interspecific mating,seed development and regeneration,and greatly reduced the genetic diversity within the population;( ii) The dry and hot river valley climate and human and animal activities inhibited the seed germination and seedling growth of E. sanguineus,resulting in very low survival rate of seedlings,and hindering the population expansion of E. sanguineus;( iii) The distribution area is located in the Yarlung Tsangpo river valley,and the natural habitat fragmentation has affected the interspecific gene exchange,resulting in the low seed bearing capacity and germination rate of E. sanguineus,which is the direct cause of the population decline of E. sanguineus;( iv) The litterfall of E. sanguineus had autotoxicity,which inhibited the growth of seedlings under the forest,caused slow natural regeneration of the population,and then caused the population of E. sanguineus to be unable to spread and develop.

[ Objective] The aim was to provide scientific basis for purifying water quality, ecological restoration and fishery breeding of GaoBaZhou reservoir multiplication and stocking. [ Method] Monitoring of normal water physical, chemical characteristics and different number of data of GaoBaZhou reservoir was conducted in 2010 and 2011 after different amount of filter-feeding fishes stocking in this reservoir. [ Result] The water physical and chemical factors TN, NO2, NO3-N-N, TP and COD, Chl. a in 2011 were significantly less than 2010, 2011 month average 1.389 mg/L, 0.039 6 rng/L, 1.211 7 mg/L, 0.137 3 mg/L, 16.191 mg/L, 10.226 8 mg/m3, 2010 month average 1.659 mg/L, 0.066 2 mg/L, 1.472 9 mg/L, 0.099 9 rag/L, 18.314 8 mg/L, 14.917 8 mg/L. The calculation results of TSIM showed that 2011 reservoir eutrophication TSIM were less than 2010, up to 53.78 and 57.36. E Coaclusion： The whole reservoir area revealed mild eutrophication （the TSIM 〉 53）, and it suggested that the filterfeeding fishes amount could be increased in the reservoir.

With seeds of Caragana versicolor in Purang county, Tibet as the materials, the seed germination and seedling growth of C. versicolor were measured under acid and alkali stress, and the soil acidity and alkalinity for normal growth and development of C. versicolor were determined, so as to provide the theoretical basis for cultivation of C. versicolor in acidified or alkaline soil. The results showed that the seed germination of C. versicolor was promoted when treated by strong acid (pH 3) and strong alkali (pH 11) solutions, and the seedling effect was good. The results also indicated that C. versicolor was a kind of plant with strong acid and alkali resistance, suitable for cultivation in acid and alkali soil areas.

Exodsta civilis Rond. （ Diptera： Tachinidae） is an important parasitoid of Loxostege sticticalis L. （ Lepidoptera： Pyrelidae） and other lepidopterous pests. The biological characteristics of E. civilis were observed in the laboratory with L. sticticalis as host. The adults emerged mainly during the daytime from 08：00 am to 10：00 am and 14：00 pm to 16：00 pm, and males emerged usually earlier than females, with the sex ratio of 1.26：1 （ 2/♂ ）. The average fecundity of female （number of eggs laid by one female） was 159.8 eggs, and the spawning duration lasted 16.6 d on average; the first spawning peak appeared on the fourth day after spawning. The longevity of adults was the longest at constant temperature of （23 ± 1 ） ℃. Supplement of sugary substances could significantly prolong the longevity of adults, especially feeding 20% hydromel could extend the longevity to 44 d. The emergence rate of E. civilis significantly decreased with an increase in storage time of L. sticticalis cocoon, but there was no further significant decrease after 110 d.

Effects of Sub-chronic Intoxication of 1,8-cineole on Blood Biochemical Indexes of Mice

[ Objective] Effects of sub-chronic intoxication of 1,8-cineole on body weights, routine blood indexes and biochemical indexes of mice were investigated. [Method] One hundred and sixty mice with body weights of 15 -17 g were randomly divided into four groups （forty mice per group）. Mice were injected to 1, 8 - cineole with doses of 192.45,64. 15 and 21.38 mg/kg body weight （ test groups） and the water solution of tween-80 with a volume fraction of 0.5% （ control group） respectively. Each mouse was administered orally at the dose of 0.2 mL per 10 g body weight once a day consecutively for 90 d. The body weight, routine blood indexes and serum biochemical indexes of mice were determined on the 30^th d, 60^th d, 90^th d and the 30^th d after stopping the administration of 1,8-cineole. [ Result] The effects of 1, 8-cineole on the body weight, routine blood indexes and serum biochemical indexes of mice with the doses of 64.15 and 21.38 mg/kg body weight had no statistically significant difference compared with the control group （P 〉0.05 ）. 1, 8-cineole with the dose of 192.45 mg/kg body weight exhibited different influences on routine blood indexes and serum biochemical indexes of mice after the oral administration of 1,8-cineole for 60 d and 90 d, and statistically significant differences in many blood biochemical indexes were observed （P 〈 0.05 ）. However, the differences in routine blood indexes and serum biochemical indexes were not statistically significant between the test groups and the control group at the 30＇h d after stopping the administration of 1, 8-cineole （ P 〉 0.05）. [Condusion] 1,8-cineole had sub-chronic oral toxicity to mice. The no observed adverse effect level （NOAEL） of 1,8-cineolc was 64.15 mg/kg body weight and the lowest observed adverse effect level （LOAEL） of 1,8-cineole was 192.45 mg/kg body weight. Effects of 1, 8-cineole on blood biochemical indexes of mice were in short term and reversible.
