The low-melting glass of Bi2O_(3)-B2O_(3)-SiO_(2)(BiBSi)system was used for the first time for laser sealing of vacuum *** the co.dition of co.stant boron co.tent,how the structure and properties vary with Bi/Si ratio in low-melting glass was *** addition,the relationships between laser power,low-melting glass solder with different Bi/Si ratios and laser sealing shear strength were *** results show that a decrease in the Bi/Si ratio can cause a co.traction of the glass network of the low-melting glass,leading to an increase of its characteristic temperature and a decrease of its co.fficient of thermal *** laser sealing,the co.per ions in the low-melting glass play an endothermic role.A change in the Bi/Si ratio will affect the valence state transition of the co.per ions in the low-melting *** absorbance of the low-melting glass does not follow the expected co.relation with the Bi/Si ratio,but shows a linear co.relation with the co.tent of divalent co.per *** greater the co.centration of divalent co.per ions,the greater the absorbance of the low-melting glass,and the lower the laser power required for laser *** shear strength of the low melting glass solder after laser sealing was tested,and it was found that the maximum shear strength of Z1 glass sample was the highest up to 2.67 MPa.

Inhibiting SHP2 reduces glyco.ysis, promotes microglial M1 polarization, and alleviates seco.dary inflammation following spinal co.d injury in a mouse model

Reducing the seco.dary inflammatory response, which is partly mediated by microglia, is a key focus in the treatment of spinal co.d injury. Src homology 2-co.taining protein tyrosine phosphatase 2(SHP2), enco.ed by PTPN11, is widely expressed in the human body and plays a role in inflammation through various mechanisms. Therefore, SHP2 is co.sidered a potential target for the treatment of inflammation-related diseases. However, its role in seco.dary inflammation after spinal co.d injury remains unclear. In this study, SHP2 was found to be abundantly expressed in microglia at the site of spinal co.d injury. Inhibition of SHP2 expression using siRNA and SHP2 inhibitors attenuated the microglial inflammatory response in an in vitro lipopolysaccharide-induced model of inflammation. Notably, after treatment with SHP2 inhibitors, mice with spinal co.d injury exhibited significantly improved hind limb loco.otor function and reduced residual urine volume in the bladder. Subsequent in vitro experiments showed that, in microglia stimulated with lipopolysaccharide, inhibiting SHP2 expression promoted M2 polarization and inhibited M1 polarization. Finally, a co.culture experiment was co.ducted to assess the effect of microglia treated with SHP2 inhibitors on neuronal cells. The results demonstrated that inflammatory factors produced by microglia promoted neuronal apoptosis, while inhibiting SHP2 expression mitigated these effects. co.lectively, our findings suggest that SHP2 enhances seco.dary inflammation and neuronal damage subsequent to spinal co.d injury by modulating microglial phenotype. Therefore, inhibiting SHP2 alleviates the inflammatory response in mice with spinal co.d injury and promotes functional reco.ery postinjury.

Grafting of thermoresponsive polymer from the surfaceof functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes via atom transfer radical polymerization

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes were oxidized with co.centrated HNO3 and H2SO4 to introduce carbox-ylic groups onto carbon nanotubes surfaces. The oxidized carbon nanotubes were reacted subse-quently with thionyl chloride and 2-Hydroxylethyl-2′-bromoisobutyrate, producing MWNT-based macroinitiators, MWNT-Br, for the atom transfer radical polymerization of (N-isopropylacrylamide). FTIR, XPS, 1H NMR, Raman and TGA were used to characterize the resulting products and to determine the co.tent of the water-soluble poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) chains in the product. The MWNTs grafted with PNIPAM chains have good solubility in distilled water; THF and CHCl3. TEM images of the samples provide direct evidence for the formation of a nanostructure that MWNTs co.ted with polymer layer. The produced MWNT-g-PNIPAM has a PNIPAM shell, which is very sensitive to the change of temperature. This method would open a door for the fabrication of novel functional carbon nanotube-based nano-materials or nanodevices with designable structure and tailor-made properties.

Effect of electromagnetic stirring on metallurgical quality of GCr15 electroslag ingot

To further improve the metallurgical quality of electroslag remelting,remove the large inclusions in electroslag ingot and refine the solidification structure of electroslag ingot,an electroslag remelting furnace with electromagnetic stirring was designed,and the influence of different magnetic induction intensities on metallurgical quality of GCr15 electroslag ingot was *** with different sizes and types were analyzed by an ASPEX scanning electron microsco.e,and the morphology and co.position of inclusions were further observed by a JSM-6510LV scanning electron *** distribution of alloying elements on the cross section of electroslag ingot was analyzed by original position analysis(OPA).The results show that whether or not electromagnetic stirring is used,the inclusions in electroslag ingot are mainly co.posed of Al_(2)O_(3),MnS,MnS-oxide and other oxides,among which Al_(2)O_(3) is the *** with an electroslag ingot without electromagnetic stirring,the number of inclusions decreases co.siderably,and the proportion of small inclusions increases while the proportion of large inclusions decreases when the electromagnetic stirring with remelting current of 1.1 kA and magnetic induction intensity of 62 Gs is ***,excessive electromagnetic force will cause the number and diameter of inclusions to increase *** stirring has different effects on the segregation of different *** the experimental co.ditions,the weak electromagnetic force with 1.1 kA and magnetic induction intensity of 108 Gs has little effect on the segregation of C,but decreases the segregation of P,and the excessive electromagnetic force aggravates the segregation of alloy elements.

Effects of mixed fertilizers formed by the co.pounding of two targeted co.trolled-release nitrogen fertilizers on yield,nitrogen use efficiency,and ammonia volatilization in double-cropping rice

One-time application of mixed fertilizer formed by the co.pounding of two co.trolled-release nitrogen fertilizers(CRUs)with targeted N supply during the periods from transplantation(TS)to panicle initiation(PI)and from PI to heading(HS)is expected to synchronize the double-peak N demand of ***,its effects on the yield and N use efficiency(NUE)of labor-intensive double-cropping rice were *** targeted CRU(CRU_(A)and CRU_(B))were co.pounded in five ratios(CRU_(A):CRU_(B)=10:0,7:3,5:5,3:7,and 0:10)to form five mixed fertilizers(BBFs):BBF1-5.A field experiment was performed to investigate the characteristics of N supply in early and late seasons under different BBFs and their effects on N uptake,yield,and ammonia volatilization(AV)loss from paddy fields of double-cropping *** high-yield fertilization(CK,three split applications of urea)and zero-N treatments were established as *** N supply dropped significantly with the increased co.pound ratio of CRU_(B)during the period from TS to PI,but increased during the period from PI to *** the exception of the period from TS to PI in the late rice season,the N uptake of early and late rice maintained close synchronicity with the N supply of BBFs during the double-peak *** N supply(BBF1 and BBF2)in the late rice season during the period from TS to PI increased N loss by *** effect of BBF on grain yield increase varied widely between seasons,irrespective of *** the BBFs,the BBF2 treatment of early rice not only stabilized the spikelets per panicle but also ensured a high number of effective panicles by promoting N uptake during the period from TS to PI and a high grain-filling percentage by appropriately reducing the N supply at the later PI stage,resulting in the highest rice *** stabilizing the effective panicle number,the BBF4 treatment of late rice increased the number of spikelets per panicle by promoting N uptake during the period from PI to HS,resul

Effects of Microwave Heating on Pore Fractal Properties of Blast Furnace Sludge

Effects of microwave heating on the pore fractal properties of blast furnace sludge （BFS） and relative mechanism were studied. The results show that the morphology features of iron bearing sinter and co.e particles, which are the main co.stituents of the BFS, were remarkably changed by microwave heating. The porosity, surface roughness and specific surface area of modified particle surface all increased obviously. co.bining with fractal meth-od called Sierpinski model, the fractal dimensions of sinter, co.e and others increased from 2.35, 2.24 and 2.58 to 2.65, 2.44 and 2.61 respectively, after modification by microwave heating. The results predicted that the reaction mechanism of microwave heating for BFS is related to two aspects. Different mineral phases existed in BFS particles incline to dissociate each other due to their different microwave absorbability~ some reco.bination or reco.struction of matters or structure leads to structure defects, which have great influences on the surface morphology characteris-tics and chemical properties. The research indicated that fractal dimension can be used as an effective factor for quan-titative analysis of the pore changes in morphology of the sludge. Furthermore, it is helpful for separation and ex- traction of valuable co.stituent from BFS.

Effect of magnetic field on elements segregation in electroslag ingot

In order to improve the production efficiency of electroslag remelting process and the solidification quality of electroslag ingot,a novel electroslag furnace with electromagnetic stirring was designed and the effects of external magnetic field and different electrical parameters on electroslag remelting process were *** distribution of carbon,chromium,phosphorus and co.pactness in electroslag ingot was analyzed through original position analysis *** show that the external magnetic field accelerates the remelting of co.sumable *** the co.dition of remelting voltage of 34 V and current of 1500 A,the remelting rate of metal co.sumable electrode increases from 20 to 27 mm min−1 when the magnetic induction intensity of 62×10^(−4) and 108×10^(−4) T is ***,the remelting current decreases from 1500 to 1100 A under the co.dition of co.stant remelting rate and remelting voltage,thereby reducing the energy *** effect of external magnetic field on the segregation of different elements in electroslag ingot is *** the experimental co.ditions,the carbon segregation is unremarkable,but the phosphorus segregation is improved when the electromagnetic force generated by the interaction between the external magnetic field and the remelting current is ***,the excessive electromagnetic force aggravates the segregation of carbon and *** the increase in electromagnetic force,the chromium segregation gradually increases.
