The recycling of cathode materials from spent lithium-ion battery has attracted extensive attention,but few research have focused on spent blended cathode *** reality,the blended materials of lithium iron phosphate and ternary are widely used in electric vehicles,so it is critical to design an effective recycling *** this study,an efficient method for reco.ering Li and Fe from the blended cathode materials of spent LiFePO_(4)and LiNi_(x)co.(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)batteries is ***,87%A1 was removed by alkali ***,91.65%Li,72.08%Ni,64.6%co.and 71.66%Mn were further separated by selective leaching with H_(2)SO_(4)and H_(2)O_(2).Li,Ni,co.and Mn in solution were reco.ered in the form of Li_(2)co.(3)and hydroxide ***,98.38%Fe was leached from the residue by two stage process,and it is reco.ered as FePO_(4)·2H_(2)O with a purity of 99.5%by *** and P were present in FePO_(4)·2H_(2)O in amounts of 28.34%and 15.98%,***,the drift and co.trol of various co.ponents were discussed,and co.t-benefit analysis was used to assess the feasibility of potential application.

As a nonmetallic charge carrier,ammonium ion(NH_(4)^(+))has garnered significant attention in the co.struction of aqueous batteries due to its advantages of low molar mass,small hydration size and rapid diffusion in aqueous *** are a kind of potential electro-active materials for aqueous NH_(4)^(+)***,traditional polymer electrodes are typically created by co.ering the bulky co.lectors with excessive additives,which co.ld lead to low volume capacity and unsatisfactory ***,a nanoparticle-like polyimide(PI)was synthesized and then co.bined with MXene nanosheets to synergistically co.struct an additive-free and self-standing PI@MXene co.posite ***,the redox-active PI nanoparticles are enclosed between co.ductive MXene flakes to create a 3D lamination-like network that promotes electron transmission,while theπ-πinteractions existing between PI and MXene co.tribute to the enhanced structural integrity and stability within the co.posite *** such,it delivers superior aqueous NH_(4)^(+)storage behaviors in terms of a notable specific capacity of 110.7 mA·h·cm^(–3) and a long lifespan with only 0.0064%drop each ***,in-situ Raman and UV–Vis examinations provide evidence of reversible and stable redox mechanism of the PI@MXene co.posite electrode during NH_(4)^(+)uptake/removal,highlighting its significance in the area of electrochemical energy storage.

Electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction(NO_(3)RR)is a promising means for generating the energy carrier ***,we report the synthesis of heterostructure co.per-nickel phosphide electrocatalysts via a simple vapor-phase hydrothermal *** resultant catalysts were evaluated for electrocatalytic nitrate reduction to ammonia(NH_(3))in three-type electrochemical *** detail,the regulation mechanism of the heterogeneous Cu_(3)P-Ni_(2)P/CP-x for NO_(3)RR performance was systematically studied through the H-type cell,rotating disk electrode setup,and membrane-electrode-assemblies(MEA)*** a result,the Cu_(3)P-Ni_(2)P/CP-0.5 displays the practicability in an MEA system with an anion exchange membrane,affording the largest ammonia yield rate(RNH_(3))of 1.9 mmol·h^(−1)·cm^(−2),exceeding most of the electrocatalytic nitrate reduction electrocatalysts reported to *** theoretical calculations and in-situ spectrosco.y characterizations unco.er that the formed heterointerface in Cu_(3)P-Ni_(2)P/CP is beneficial for promoting nitrate adsorption,activation,and co.version to ammonia through the successive hydrodeoxygenation pathway.

Long-Term Performance and Microstructural Characterization of Dam co.crete in the Three Gorges Project

This study investigates the long-term performance of laboratory dam co.crete in different curing environments over ten years and the microstructure of 17-year-old laboratory co.crete and actual co.crete co.es drilled from the Three Gorges *** mechanical properties of the laboratory dam co.crete,whether cured in natural or standard environments,co.tinued to improve over ***,the laboratory dam co.crete exhibited good resistance to diffusion and a refined microstructure after 17 ***,curing and long-term exposure to the local natural environment reduced the frost *** analyses of the laboratory co.crete samples demonstrated that moderate-heat cement and fine fly ash(FA)particles were almost fully hydrated to form co.pact micro structures co.sisting of large quantities of homogeneous calcium(alumino)silicate hydrate(C-(A)-S-H)gels and a few *** obvious interfacial transition zones were observed in the microstructure owing to the longterm pozzolanic *** dense and homogenous microstructure was the crucial reason for the excellent long-term performance of the dam co.crete.A high FA volume also played a significant role in the microstructural densification and performance growth of dam co.crete at a later *** co.crete drilled from the dam surface exhibited a loose microstructure with higher microporosity,indicating that co.crete directly exposed to the actual service environment suffered degradation caused by water and wind *** this study,both macro-performance and microstructural analyses revealed that the application of moderate-heat cement and FA resulted in a dense and homogenous microstructure,which ensured the excellent long-term performance of co.crete from the Three Gorges Dam after 17 ***-term exposure to an actual service environment may lead to microstructural degradation of the co.crete ***,the retained long-term dam co.crete samples need to be further researched to

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have garnered significant interest in energy storage due to their similar working mechanism to lithium ion batteries and abundant reserves of sodium *** facile synthesis of a carbon-based anode materials with capable electrochemical performance is key to promoting the practical application of *** this work,a co.bination of petroleum pitch and recyclable sodium chloride is selected as the carbon source and template to obtain hard carbon(HC)anode for *** times and temperatures are optimized by assessing the sodium ion storage behavior of different HC *** optimized HC exhibits a remarkable capacity of over 430 mAh·g^(-1) after undergoing full activation through 500 cycles at a density of current of 0.1 A·g^(-1).Furthermore,it demonstrates an initial discharge capacity of 276 mAh·g^(-1) at a density of current of 0.5 A·g^(-1).Meanwhile,the optimized HC shows a good capacity retention(170 mAh·g^(-1) after 750 cycles)and a remarkable rate ability(166 mAh·g^(-1) at 2 A·g^(-1)).The enhanced capacity is attributed to the suitable degree of graphitization and surface area,which improve the sodium ion transport and storage.

The effects of wheel speeds on the magnetic properties and microstructures of[(Nd,Pr)_(1-x)Ce_(x)]-Fe-B meltspun ribbons were *** to melt-spun ribbons with low cerium(Ce)co.tent(x=0.2),amorphous formation can be suppressed at high wheel speed in the ribbons with a relatively high Ce co.tent(x=0.8),and with the increase of the wheel speed,the magnetic properties of the ribbons with high Ce co.tent raise *** high wheel speed,the co.rcivity mechanism of melt-spun ribbons is mainly pinning field,and the high wheel speed introduces a large number of defects into the matrix as pinning ***,ribbons with high Ce co.tent form a fine and uniform grain structure,so the grain boundary area enlarges,which further hinders the movement of domain *** co.bined effects of the above factors enable ribbons with high Ce co.tent to have excellent magnetic properties(Hcj=0.977 T,Mr=64 m^(2) A/kg)at the wheel speed of 35 m/s.

The lack of effective charge transfer driving force and channel limits the electron directional migration in nanoclusters(NC)-based heterostructures,resulting in poor photocatalytic ***,a Z-scheme NC-based heterojunction(Pt1Ag28-BTT/co.,BTT=1,3,5-benzenetrithiol)with strong internal electric field is co.structed via interfacial co.S bond,which exhibits an absolutely superiority in photocatalytic performance with 24.89 mmol·h^(−1)·g−1 H_(2)production rate,25.77%apparent quantum yield at 420 nm,and~100%activity retention in stability,co.pared with Pt1Ag28-BDT/co.(BDT=1,3-benzenedithiol),Ag29-BDT/co.,and *** enhanced catalytic performance is co.tributed by the dual modulation strategy of inner co.e and outer shell of NC,wherein,the center Pt single atom doping regulates the band structure of NC to match well with co.,builds internal electric field,and then drives photogenerated electrons steering;the accurate surface S modification promotes the formation of co.S atomic-precise interface channel for further high-efficient Z-scheme charge directional *** work opens a new avenue for designing NC-based heterojunction with matchable band structure and valid interfacial charge transfer.

Reticulated ceramic foam filters provide an effective way to purify molten steel by removing non-metallic *** proposed a novel strategy to improve the purification performance of Al_(2)O_(3)-based ceramic filters by using microporous co.undum-spinel raw materials to replace dense raw *** kinds of Al_(2)O_(3)-based ceramic filters fabricated from dense α-Al_(2)O_(3) micro-powder or microporous co.undum-spinel powder were selected to carry out the immersion tests with molten *** the one hand,the higher surface roughness of the filter skeleton prepared from microporous raw materials increased the adsorption capacity of skeleton surface on inclusions in molten *** the other hand,the higher apparent porosity and larger pore size of the filter skeleton were more beneficial to the penetration of molten steel in the micropores of *** reaction process at the solid-liquid interface also improved the wettability of the interface between skeleton and molten steel,resulting in a larger penetration depth and a better adsorption effect on the *** summary,the novel Al_(2)O_(3)-based ceramic filter prepared with microporous co.undum-spinel powder and addition of 5 wt.% nano-Al_(2)O_(3) powder reduced the total oxygen co.tent of the steel from 40.2×10^(-4) to 12.7×10^(-4) wt.% by 68.4% and the Al co.tent from 0.46 to 0.18 wt.% by 60.9% after immersion test,presenting the most excellent purification performance on molten steel.

Tungsten separation behavior on preparation of high-purity cerium by co.bined vacuum gravity sedimentation-directional solidification

In light of the difficult removal of harmful impurity tungsten(W)in Ce metal,in this paper a co.bined vacuum gravity sedimentation-directional solidification method was innovatively designed and the W separation behavior was *** reducing the electron beam power instantly and gradually at reduction rates of 1,3 and 5 kW/min,it is found that W is enriched at the bottom of ingots as the melt *** enrichment effect is much better than that of single purification method and the enrichment degree increases as the beam reduction rate decreases,attributed to the k0(W)>1 andρ(W)>ρ(Ce).Overall,the minimum co.tent of W impurity can decrease from 630 to 0.1 ppm at the top of the ingot,and the purity of Ce increases from 99.932 wt%to 99.995 wt%by this co.bined ***,this paper provides a new method for the removal of high density and low evaporation co.fficient impurities in low vapor pressure rare earth metals.
