Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been co.sidered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)***,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of co.mercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device *** this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve co.erage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK *** addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the inco.pletely passivated trap states caused interface reco.bination.A surface reco.struction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain ***,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing *** a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power co.version efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our *** validation undersco.es the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.

Effect of electromagnetic stirring on metallurgical quality of GCr15 electroslag ingot

To further improve the metallurgical quality of electroslag remelting,remove the large inclusions in electroslag ingot and refine the solidification structure of electroslag ingot,an electroslag remelting furnace with electromagnetic stirring was designed,and the influence of different magnetic induction intensities on metallurgical quality of GCr15 electroslag ingot was *** with different sizes and types were analyzed by an ASPEX scanning electron microsco.e,and the morphology and co.position of inclusions were further observed by a JSM-6510LV scanning electron *** distribution of alloying elements on the cross section of electroslag ingot was analyzed by original position analysis(OPA).The results show that whether or not electromagnetic stirring is used,the inclusions in electroslag ingot are mainly co.posed of Al_(2)O_(3),MnS,MnS-oxide and other oxides,among which Al_(2)O_(3) is the *** with an electroslag ingot without electromagnetic stirring,the number of inclusions decreases co.siderably,and the proportion of small inclusions increases while the proportion of large inclusions decreases when the electromagnetic stirring with remelting current of 1.1 kA and magnetic induction intensity of 62 Gs is ***,excessive electromagnetic force will cause the number and diameter of inclusions to increase *** stirring has different effects on the segregation of different *** the experimental co.ditions,the weak electromagnetic force with 1.1 kA and magnetic induction intensity of 108 Gs has little effect on the segregation of C,but decreases the segregation of P,and the excessive electromagnetic force aggravates the segregation of alloy elements.

The eutectic high entropy alloys have attracted extensive attention and are co.sidered one of the most promising new metal *** microstructures of large eutectic high entropy alloy ingot with excellent casting performance have been rarely *** this study,we have prepared a ton class eutectic high entropy alloy ingot via vacuum induction melting for the first *** evolution of microstructure and macro-segregation from the edge region to the co.e of the ingot were also *** was found that there was no significant macro-segregation in ton class eutectic high entropy alloy ingot,and chemical elements were distributed *** co.pled growth of the primary phases and eutectic co.onies were homogeneously distributed in the ingot,and there is no traditional co.umnar grain region from the edge region of the ingot to the *** tensile strength of the sample in the R/2 region of the ton class ingot with elongation greater than 10%is 892.3 MPa,showing an excellent co.prehensive mechanical *** study exhibits an important guidance for the industrial application of large eutectic high entropy alloy casting ingot.

Hot working process optimization of Fe-20Mn-19Cr-0.5C-0.6N steel by activation energy, power dissipation and microstructural evolution

Hot deformation behavior of an Fe-20Mn-19Cr-0.5C-0.6N high-nitrogen austenitic steel has been studied by isothermal co.pression tests in deformation temperature range of 800-1200℃ and strain rate range of 0.01-10 s^-1. Results indicate that the Fe-20Mn-19Cr-0.5C-0.6N steel has high deformation resistance due to strong hindering effect on dislocation moving by nitrogen-induced lattice misfit. The twinning-induced plasticity effect is gradually suppressed with the increase in deformation temperature, and high-temperature plastic deformation mechanism by twinning is gradually replaced by dislocation planar slip. The deformation resistance is up to 343 MPa at deformation co.ditions of (1000 ℃, 0.01 s^-1), which is over 100 MPa higher than that in martensitic steel and 50 MPa higher than that in austenitic steel. Besides, value of deformation activation energy for the Fe-20Mn-19Cr-0.6N steel is up to 784 kJ mol^-1. Power dissipation efficiency is lower than 0.13, while hot processing map exhibits a very wide range of working area. The optimum hot working process obtains at deformation temperature range of 950-1200℃ and strain rate range of 0.01-10 s^-1, when deformation acti-vation energy is less than 662.6 kJ mol^-1, power dissipation efficiency exceeds 0.22, dynamic recrystallization fraction is over 46.1% and microstructures are without instable characteristics.

Application of FEM to Hot co.tinuous Rolling Process for Inco.el 718 Alloy Round Rod

A finite element model for co.pled thermo-meehanical analysis has been developed in hot co.tinuous rolling process for Inco.el 718 alloy round rod with diameter of 45 mm. The stability of this alloy is discussed by integration of FEM and processing map reported in literatures. The result shows that the stability of Inco.el 718 alloy is analyzed effectively during that process and good stability appears as the initial temperature is 960 ℃ and the initial velocity is from 0. 15 to 0.45 m · s^-1 or the initial temperature is 980 ℃ and the initial velocity is from 0. 15 to 0. 25 m · s^-1.

Effect of aging treatment on evolution of S'phase in rapid co.d punched Al−Cu−Mg alloy

High-resolution transmission electron microsco.y(TEM),X-ray diffractometer(XRD),and hardness test were used to study the evolution of long plate-shaped S'phase in the spray-formed fine-grained Al−Cu−Mg alloy during aging after rapid co.d punching *** show that the long plate-shaped S'phase in the extruded Al−Cu−Mg alloy undergoes evident distortion,brittle failure,separation and redissolution,during rapid co.d punching deformation,leading to the transformation of long plate-shaped S'phase into short rod or even redissolution and disappearance,causing the matrix to beco.e a supersaturated solid *** the aging treatment,the reprecipitation of the phases occurs,and these aging phases are mainly long plate-shaped and *** inco.pletely dissolved S'phase acts as nucleation co.e,promoting uphill diffusion of the surrounding solute *** S'phase gradually grows with increasing the aging *** co.pletely dissolved S'phase forms the inco.erent equilibrium phase with the matrix to reduce its free *** rapid co.d punching,the aging response of the deformed Al−Cu−Mg alloy is accelerated,and the hardness of the alloy is substantially increased.

Surface-modified co.posite separator for lithium-ion battery with enhanced durability and security

In the long-term repeated cycling process of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), the seamless transmission of lithium ions through the separator is crucial for the normal operation of the batteries. However, the irregular porous structure of the co.monly used polyethylene(PE) separator leads to the accumulation of chaotic lithium ions and the formation of lithium dendrites, which pose serious safety risks. To enhance the safety performance of LIBs, we propose a novel co.posite separator design that inco.porates ultrafine Al2O3particles and a multifunctional gel polymer binder, which are mixed and co.ted onto PE membranes. This co.posite separator improves the wettability and lithium-ion transference number, resulting in impressive cycling lifespan and high average co.lombic efficiencies for large-scale prismatic LiFePO4//graphite batteries. These batteries exhibit approximately 80 % capacity retention over 1900 cycles with average co.lombic efficiencies of 99.95 %. Furthermore,even after 1000 cycles, LIBs fabricated with the co.posite separator pass the rigorous nail penetration test. These enhancements in safety performance offer promising prospects for achieving dendrite-free LIBs during long-term cycling processes.

Poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole)(PBO)fiber and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)resin have been widely acknowledged as excellent wave-transparent materials for future high-frequency applications due to their exceptional dielectric ***,the weak interfacial bonding between these two materials hampers their full *** this study,we successfully addressed this limitation by enhancing the surface roughness of PBO fibers and introducing active sites through the insitu grafting of silica *** added silica acted as an interfacial anchor on the PBO fiber surface,significantly improving the bonding force between PBO and ***/PTFE wave-transparent laminated co.posites were fabricated using hot co.pression *** results demonstrate that the PBO(treated with insitu grown silica)/PTFE laminated co.posites exhibit superior interlaminar shear strength(ILSS),flexural strength,flexural modulus,and tensile modulus co.pared to the pristine PBO/PTFE laminated ***,these properties are found to be 58.6%,32.9%,138.1%,and 25.35%higher,***,these co.posites demonstrate low dielectric co.stant and dielectric *** notably,they achieve a wave transmittance of 91.45%at 10 GHz,indicating significant potential for wide-range applications in next-generation advanced military weapons,such as“lightweight/high-strength/wavetransparent”electromagnetic window materials,as well as civilian co.munication base stations.

Effect of strain rate on microstructure and mechanical properties of spray-formed Al-Cu-Mg alloy

Transmission electron microsco.y(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD),and tensile tests were used to study the effects of strain rates(0.1,1 and 9.1 s^(-1))on the microstructure and mechanical properties of spray-formed Al-Cu-Mg alloys during large-strain rolling at 420℃.Results show that during hot rolling,the proportion of high-angle grain boundaries(HAGBs)and the degree of dynamic recrystallization(DRX)initially increase and then decrease,whereas the average grain size and dislocation density show the opposite trend with the increase of the strain *** addition,the number of S′phases in the matrix decreases,and the grain boundary precipitates(GBPs)beco.e co.rser and more disco.tinuous as the strain rate *** the strain rate increases from 0.1 to 9.1 s^(-1),the tensile strength of the alloy decreases from 492.45 to 427.63 MPa,whereas the elongation initially increases from 12.1%to 21.8%and then decreases to 17.7%.
