This paper investigates the tracking control problem for unmanned underwater vehicles(UUVs)systems with sensor faults,input saturation,and external disturbance caused by waves and ocean *** active sensor fault-tolerant control scheme is ***,the developed method only requires the inertia matrix of the UUV,without other dynamic information,and can handle both additive and multiplicative sensor ***,an adaptive fault-tolerant controller is designed to achieve asymptotic tracking control of the UUV by employing robust integral of the sign of error feedback *** is shown that the effect of sensor faults is online estimated and compensated by an adaptive *** the proposed controller,the tracking error and estimation error can asymptotically converge to ***,simulation results are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Atmospheric turbulence is an important parameter affecting laser atmospheric transmission. This paper reports on a self-developed atmospheric turbulence detection Li DAR system (scanning differential image motion Li DAR(DIM-Li DAR) system). By designing and simulating the optical system of atmospheric turbulence detection Li DAR,the basic optical imaging accuracy has been determined.

Engine mount system affects the automobile NVH *** mounts would achieve excellent vibration isolation and relative displacement control performance in a broad frequency bandwidth by outputting controlled force to the mounting *** actuator and control method of the active mounts determine the system *** this paper,an active mount based on the smart material,i.e.,Terfenol-D rod,is proposed,which mainly includes three parts:rubber spring,magnetostrictive actuator(MA),and hydraulic amplification mechanism(HAM).Dynamic model of the active mount is correspondingly established.A state feedback control method based on x-LMS(Least-Mean-Square)algorithm is proposed as ***,with the consideration of the unmeasurable state parameters in the active mounting system,an x-LMS state feedback controller with the system state as the reference signal is constructed by employing Sage-Husa Kalman filter to realize the state estimation of the active mounting *** a detailed analysis of the proposed control method is conducted,with deriving iterative formula of tap-weight ***,the problem of the dependence on the excitation signal in the x-LMS algorithm is *** feasibility and capability of the proposed control method are verified and evaluated by simulation of a two-degree-offreedom active mounting system.

To study the ride comfort of wheel-hub-driven electric vehicles,a simulation and verifi-cation method based on a combination of ADAMS and MATLAB modeling is ***,a multibody dynamic simulation model of an in-wheel motor-driven electric vehi-cle is established using ADAMS/***,the pavement excitation and electromag-netic force analytical equations are provided based on the specific operating conditions of the vehicle and the in-wheel motor to analyze the impact of the electromagnetic force fluctuation from an unsprung mass increase and motor air gap unevenness on vehicle ride comfort after the introduction of an in-wheel ***,the vibration model and the motion differential equation of the body–wheel dual-mass system of an in-wheel motor-driven electric vehicle are *** influence of the in-wheel motor on the vibration response index of the dual-mass system is analyzed by using MATLAB/Simulink *** variation in the vehicle vibration performance index with/without the motor electromagnetic force excitation factor is analyzed and com-pared with the ADAMS multibody dynamics analysis *** results show that the method based on a combination of ADAMS and MATLAB modeling can forecast the ride comfort of an in-wheel motor-driven electric vehicle,reducing the cost of physical prototype experiments.

YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-x)(YBCO)is a kind of high-temperature superconducting material that has important application in information,energy,medical treatment,etc.,and the superconducting properties of YBCO are closely related to its internal *** this study,the microwave heating method was adopted to prepare the YBCO *** internal 3 D online evolution observation based on the synchrotron radiation computed tomography technology shows that there was directional grain growth phenomenon of YBCO during microwave sintering *** local regions with special microstructure,these particles grew to the same ***,the theoretical models of single and multiple particles in the microwave electromagnetic fields were *** on these theoretical models and finite element analysis,it shows that the YBCO particles can modulate the distribution of electromagnetic fields,resulting in the significantly higher electric field intensity at the particle junctions than other ***,there were very high electric field intensity and temperature gradients in the directions of particle *** factors were crucial in directional *** results will provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for the controllable preparation and performance optimization of the internal microstructure of superconducting materials in the preparation process.

Fast and accurate forecasting of schedulable capacity of electric vehicles(EVs)plays an important role in enabling the integration of EVs into future smart grids as distributed energy storage *** methods are insufficient to deal with large-scale actual schedulable capacity *** paper proposes forecasting models for schedulable capacity of EVs through the parallel gradient boosting decision tree algorithm and big data analysis for multi-time *** time scale of these data analysis comprises the real time of one minute,ultra-short-term of one hour and one-day-ahead scale of 24 *** predicted results for different time scales can be used for various ancillary *** proposed algorithm is validated using operation data of 521 EVs in the *** results show that compared with other machine learning methods such as the parallel random forest algorithm and parallel k-nearest neighbor algorithm,the proposed algorithm requires less training time with better forecasting accuracy and analytical processing ability in big data environment.

A properly designed public transport system is expected to improve traffic efficiency.A high-frequency bus service would decrease the waiting time for passengers,but the interaction between buses and cars might result in more serious *** the other hand,a low-frequency bus service would increase the waiting time for passengers and would not reduce the use of private *** is important to strike a balance between high and low frequencies in order to minimize the total delays for all road *** is critical to formulate the impacts of bus frequency on congestion dynamics and mode ***,as far as the authors know,most proposed bus frequency optimization formulations are based on static demand and the Bureau of Public Roads function,and do not properly consider the congestion dynamics and their impacts on mode *** fill this gap,this paper proposes a bi-level optimization model.A three-dimensional Macroscopic Fundamental Diagram based modeling approach is developed to capture the bi-modal congestion dynamics.A variational inequality model for the user equilibrium in mode choices is presented and solved using a double projection algorithm.A surrogate model-based algorithm is used to solve the bi-level programming problem.

High penetration of distributed renewable energy sources and electric vehicles(EVs)makes future active distribution network(ADN)highly *** characteristics put great challenges to traditional voltage control *** control based on the deep Q-network(DQN)algorithm offers a potential solution to this problem because it possesses humanlevel control ***,the traditional DQN methods may produce overestimation of action reward values,resulting in degradation of obtained *** this paper,an intelligent voltage control method based on averaged weighted double deep Q-network(AWDDQN)algorithm is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of overestimation of action reward values in DQN algorithm and underestimation of action reward values in double deep Q-network(DDQN)*** the proposed method,the voltage control objective is incorporated into the designed action reward values and normalized to form a Markov decision process(MDP)model which is solved by the AWDDQN *** designed AWDDQN-based intelligent voltage control agent is trained offline and used as online intelligent dynamic voltage regulator for the *** proposed voltage control method is validated using the IEEE 33-bus and 123-bus systems containing renewable energy sources and EVs,and compared with the DQN and DDQN algorithms based methods,and traditional mixed-integer nonlinear program based *** simulation results show that the proposed method has better convergence and less voltage volatility than the other ones.

Biomimetic designs based on micro/nanoscale manipulation and scalable fabrication are expected to develop new-style strong, tough structural materials. Although the mimicking of nacre-like‘brick-and-mortar’ structure is well studied, many highly ordered natural architectures comprising 1D micro/nanoscale building blocks still elude imitation owing to the scarcity of efficient manipulation techniques for micro/nanostructural control in practical bulk counterparts. Herein, inspired by natural twisted plywood structures with fascinating damage tolerance, biomimetic bulk materials that closely resemble natural hierarchical structures and toughening mechanisms are successfully fabricated through a programmed and scalable bottom-up assembly strategy. By accurately engineering the arrangement of 1D mineral micro/nanofibers in biopolymer matrix on the multiscale, the resultant composites display optimal mechanical performance, superior to many natural, biomimetic and engineering materials. The design strategy allows for precise micro/nanostructural control at the macroscopic 3D level and can be easily extended to other materials systems, opening up an avenue for many more micro/nanofiber-based biomimetic designs.
