Because of the large-scale integration of wind power,the dynamic characteristics of power system have many uncertain *** on deterministic analysis methods,traditional on-line security assessment system cannot quantitatively estimate the actual operating conditions of the power system for only considering the most serious and credible ***,the risk theory is introduced into an on-line security assessment system and then an on-line risk assessment system for wind power is designed and implemented by combining with the dynamic security assessment *** on multiple data integration,the wind power disturbance probability is available and the security assessment of the power grid can obtain security indices in different *** operating risk index is an expectation of severity,computed by summing up all the products of the result probability and its *** results are reported to the dispatchers in on-line environment,while the comprehensive weak links are automatically provided to the power dispatching *** risk assessment system in operation can verify the reasonableness of the system.

Recommendation has become increasingly important because of the information overload. Collaborative filtering(CF) technique, as the most popular recommendation method, utilizes the historical preferences of users to predict their future interests on other ***, CF technique requires collecting users’ rating information, which may lead to the disclosure of privacy. We propose a new randomized perturbation approach Time-drifting privacy-preserving collaborative filtering(TPPCF) to well balance privacy of users and accuracy of recommendation. Since users’ recent ratings can better represent their interests and preferences, we incorporate a varying weight into the approach. Specifically, we assign higher weights to more recent ratings both when computing user similarity and perturbing users’ ratings. To further improve the efficiency, we cluster the users into several groups to reduce computation cost. We demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our method through experiments on Movie Lens dataset, which shows TPPCF can achieve higher privacy while generating more accurate recommendation.

Increase in permeability of renewable energy sources(RESs)leads to the prominent problem of voltage stability in power system,so it is urgent to have a system strength evaluation method with both accuracy and practicability to control its access scale within a reasonable ***,a hybrid intelligence enhancement method is proposed by combining the advantages of mechanism method and data driven ***,calculation of critical short circuit ratio(CSCR)is set as the direction of intelligent enhancement by taking the multiple renewable energy station short circuit ratio as the quantitative ***,the construction process of CSCR dataset is proposed,and a batch simulation program of samples is developed accordingly,which provides a data basis for subsequent ***,a multi-task learning model based on progressive layered extraction is used to simultaneously predict CSCR of each RESs connection point,which significantly reduces evaluation error caused by weak *** performance and anti-noise performance of the proposed method are verified on the CEPRI-FS-102 bus system,which provides strong technical support for real-time monitoring of system strength.

The voltage characteristics of a half-wavelength transmission(HWLT)system lack mechanism explanation and systematic *** this paper,both the steady-state and fault voltage characteristics are analyzed and explained based on the wave process *** analysis model is established for HWLT lines and wave propagation equations with different terminal conditions are *** steady-state conditions,voltage profiles along HWLT lines are depicted and partial overvoltage occurs when there is an overload or low-power *** addition,fault voltage characteristics are analyzed under load-rejection or short-circuit *** series resonance overvoltage will happen when short-circuit faults occur at certain positions and its peak value is influenced by grid strength or fault ***,a refined transmission line model is presented to consider non-ideal factors and simulation results demonstrate that geomorphic conditions and electromagnetic environments influence line voltage characteristics to a certain extent.

With the increasing penetration of renewable energy in power system,renewable energy power ramp events(REPREs),dominated by wind power and photovoltaic power,pose significant threats to the secure and stable operation of power *** paper presents an early warning method for REPREs based on long short-term memory(LSTM)network and fuzzy ***,the warning levels of REPREs are defined by assessing the control costs of various power control ***,the next 4-h power support capability of external grid is estimated by a tie line power predictionmodel,which is constructed based on the ***,considering the risk attitudes of dispatchers,fuzzy rules are employed to address the boundary value attribution of the early warning interval,improving the rationality of power ramp event early *** results demonstrate that the proposed method can generate reasonable early warning levels for REPREs,guiding decision-making for control strategy.

controlled islanding is considered to be the last countermeasure to prevent a system-wide blackout in case of cascading *** splits the system into self-sustained islands to maintain transient stability at the expense of possible loss of *** coherence identification is critical to controlled islanding scheme as it helps identify the optimal cut-set to maintain the transient stability of the post-islanding *** paper presents a novel approach for online generator coherency identification using phasor measurement unit(PMU) data and dynamic time warping(DTW).Results from the coherence identification are used to further cluster non-generator buses using spectral clustering with the objective of minimizing power flow *** proposed approach is validated and compared to existing methods on the IEEE39-bus system and WECC 179-bus system, through which its advantages are demonstrated.

The growing number of renewable energy replacing conventional generators results in a loss of the reserve for frequency control in power systems,while many industrial power grids often have excess energy supply due to abundant wind and solar energy *** paper proposes a secondary frequency control(SFC)strategy that allows industrial power grids to provide emergency high-voltage direct current(HVDC)power support(EDCPS)for emergency to a system requiring power support through a voltage source converter(VSC)HVDC *** architecture including multiple model predictive control(MPC)controllers with periodic communication is designed to simultaneously obtain optimized EDCPS capacity and minimize adverse effects on the providing power support(PPS)***,a model of a virtual power plant(VPP)containing aluminum smelter loads(ASLs)and a high penetration of wind power is established for the PPS *** flexibility and controllability of the VPP are improved by the demand response of the *** uncertainty associated with wind power is considered by chance *** effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified by simulation results using the data of an actual industrial power grid in Inner Mongolia,*** DC voltage of the VSCs and the DC in the potlines of the ASLs are also investigated in the simulation.
