We construct a dual-layer coupled complex network of communities and residents to represent the interconnected risk transmission network between communities and the disease transmission network among residents. It characterizes the process of infectious disease transmission among residents between communities through the SE2IHR model considering two types of infectors. By depicting a more fine-grained social structure and combining further simulation experiments, the study validates the crucial role of various prevention and control measures implemented by communities as primary executors in controlling the epidemic. Research shows that the geographical boundaries of communities and the social interaction patterns of residents have a significant impact on the spread of the epidemic, where early detection, isolation and treatment strategies at community level are essential for controlling the spread of the epidemic. In addition, the study explores the collaborative governance model and institutional advantages of communities and residents in epidemic prevention and control.

While databases are widely-used in commercial user-facing services that have stringent quality-of-service(QoS)requirement,it is crucial to ensure their good performance and minimize the hardware usage at the same *** investigation shows that the optimal DBMS(database management system)software configuration varies for different user request patterns(i.e.,workloads)and hardware *** is challenging to identify the optimal software and hardware configurations for a database workload,because DBMSs have hundreds of tunable knobs,the effect of tuning a knob depends on other knobs,and the dependency relationship changes under different hardware *** this paper,we propose SHA,a software and hardware auto-tuning system for *** is comprised of a scaling-based performance predictor,a reinforcement learning(RL)based software tuner,and a QoS-aware resource *** performance predictor predicts its optimal performance with different hardware configurations and identifies the minimum amount of resources for satisfying its performance *** software tuner fine-tunes the DBMS software knobs to optimize the performance of the *** resource reallocator assigns the saved resources to other applications to improve resource utilization without incurring QoS violation of the database *** results show that SHA improves the performance of database workloads by 9.9%on average compared with a state-of-the-art solution when the hardware configuration is fixed,and improves 43.2%of resource utilization while ensuring the QoS.

Based on the panel data of 30 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)in China from 2006 to 2019,the empirical study finds that the target values of economic growth expectation can promote high-quality economic development,and there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between elastic target constraints and high-quality economic *** elastic constraints can reduce the investment rate and improve the total factor productivity(TFP),which promotes high-quality economic development,but its mediating effect accounts for a small *** the improvement of the marketization degree,the inhibiting effect of elastic constraints on high-quality economic development *** analysis of the heterogeneity between the new or old normal and the levels of economic development shows that in the future,developed regions should set high target values and low elastic constraints,and underdeveloped regions should set high elastic constraints on the target values of economic growth expectation.

Decentralization can alter the incentive structure of local governments and one outcome of this is debt accumulation. Based on the “Province-Managing-County” pilot policy, a fiscal decentralization reform devolving fiscal power from the prefecture-level city to the county level, we assess the impact of fiscal decentralization on local government debt using a difference-in-differences model with a unique county-level dataset from 2011 to 2019. According to the study findings, the “Province-Managing-County” reform resulted in an average increase of 5.758 percent in the local government debt ratio across the pilot counties. Mechanism analyses suggest that this may have arisen from changes in the incentive structure, including external pressures from government assessments and internal developmental needs for promotion, leading to a rise in expenditure pressures on local governments. The role of supervision in mitigating the impact of fiscal decentralization on debt growth was also demonstrated, indicating that an appropriate supervision mechanism must be in place in conjunction with a decentralization policy.

Various land use and land cover(LULC)products have been produced over the past decade with the development of remote sensing *** the differences in LULC classification schemes,there is a lack of research on assessing the accuracy of their application to croplands in a unified ***,this study evaluated the spatial and area accuracies of cropland classification for four commonly used global LULC products(i.e.,MCD12Q1V6,GlobCover2009,FROM-GLC and GlobeLand30)based on the harmonised FAO criterion,and quantified the relationships between four factors(i.e.,slope,elevation,field size and crop system)and cropland classification *** validation results indicated that MCD12Q1 and GlobeLand30 performed well in cropland classification regarding spatial consistency,with overall accuracies of 94.90 and 93.52%,*** FROMGLC showed the worst performance,with an overall accuracy of 83.17%.Overlaying the cropland generated by the four global LULC products,we found the proportions of complete agreement and disagreement were 15.51 and 44.72% for the cropland classification,*** consistency was mainly observed in the Northeast China Plain,the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain and the northern part of the Middle-lower Yangtze Plain,*** contrast,low consistency was detected primarily on the eastern edge of the northern and semiarid region,the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and southern *** size was the most important factor for mapping *** area accuracy,compared with China Statistical Yearbook data at the provincial scale,the accuracies of different products in descending order were:GlobeLand30,FROM-GLC,MCD12Q1,and *** cropland classification schemes mainly caused large area deviations among the four products,and they also resulted in the different ranks of spatial accuracy and area accuracy among the four *** results can provide valuable suggestions for selecting cropland products at the national or provinc

Against the background of China’s strengthening of finance and accounting supervision,this study examines the practice among listed companies of changing signing auditors at the last minute and explores whether Chinese investors can capture this information in a timely *** find that China’s capital market responds significantly negatively to these last-minute changes,implying that investors perceive a potential negative impact of this *** analyses suggest that the characteristics of the change event,recent corporate events,and accounting firm capability significantly affect the stock price ***,in terms of the individual characteristics of signing auditors,external investors appear to comprehensively consider busyness level,industry experience,and the timing of the change to determine the causes and effects of the auditor change and make different market reactions *** addition,consistent with investor perceptions,we find that last-minute changes significantly impair the quality of financial statements,indicating that external investors’judgments based on information about changes in signing auditors are rational and effective.

In this paper,the recursive filtering problem is considered for stochastic systems over filter-and-forward successive relay(FFSR)*** FFSR is located between the sensor and the remote filter to forward the *** the successive relay,two cooperative relay nodes are adopted to forward the signals alternatively,thereby existing switching characteristics and inter-relay interferences(IRI).Since the filter-and-forward scheme is employed,the signal received by the relay is retransmitted after it passes through a linear *** objective of the paper is to concurrently design optimal recursive filters for FFSR and stochastic systems against switching characteristics and IRI of ***,a uniform measurement model is proposed by analyzing the transmission mechanism of ***,novel filter structures with switching parameters are constructed for both FFSR and stochastic *** the help of the inductive method,filtering error covariances are presented in the form of coupled difference ***,the desired filter gain matrices are further obtained by minimizing the trace of filtering error ***,the stability performance of the filtering algorithm is analyzed where the uniform bound is guaranteed on the filtering error ***,the effectiveness of the proposed filtering method over FFSR is verified by a three-order resistance-inductance-capacitance circuit system.

As a fundamental logistics service,the express delivery(ED)industry provides production and consumption activities to maintain efficient supply chain *** plays an important role in promoting industrial development and maintaining daily life and *** study examined the effects of COVID-19 on the ED industry using ED package delivery data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in *** a difference-in-differences method,the COVID-19 outbreak was found to have a positive effect and epidemic prevention and control(EPC)policies were found to have negative effects on the development of the ED *** addition to EPC policies,the Chinese government has implemented other short-term economic interventions(SEI),such as the resumption of work and production(RWP),policies to balance economic growth,and epidemic *** study divided the pandemic period into three stages to analyze the different impacts of EPC and SEI policy changes on the ED *** RWP policies adopted during the pandemic positively impacted the volume and income of packages delivered to the ED *** conclusions of this study are significant for the ED industry in addressing public health emergencies and for the Chinese government to formulate EPC and SEI policies during epidemic periods.

The present paper deals with the problem of nonparametric kernel density estimation of the trend function for stochastic processes driven by fractional Brownian motion of the second *** consistency,the rate of convergence,and the asymptotic normality of the kernel-type estimator are ***,we prove that the rate of convergence of the kernel-type estimator depends on the smoothness of the trend of the nonperturbed system.
