In this study,a Ni-Fe metal-organic framework modified by-NH_(2)and-SH was synthesized using a sim-ple hydrothermal process for enhancing photocatalytic CO_(2)*** expected,the N2S-NiFe(NH_(2)-BDC/H_(4)DSBDC,2:1)displayed excellent photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction activity and high CO selectivity(12,412.23μmol g^(−1)h^(−1))under visible light irradiation(λ≥420 nm),which is 5 times that of ***,the excellent photocatalytic performance of N2S-NiFe can benefit from the rich defect trap site caused by the introduction of amino and sulfhydryl groups,accelerating charge transfer and promoting space charge separation,as supported by the photo-electrochemical *** better understand the CO_(2)adsorption mechanism,density functional theory calculations were performed,which revealed that the Niov site has more negative adsorption energy compared with the Feov *** study provides a simple strategy to establish efficient photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction through the modification of organic ligands.

Single-pixel imaging(SPI)can transform 2D or 3D image data into 1D light signals,which offers promising prospects for image compression and ***,during data communication these light signals in public channels will easily draw the attention of ***,we introduce an efficient encryption method for SPI data transmission that uses the 3D Arnold transformation to directly disrupt 1D single-pixel light signals and utilizes the elliptic curve encryption algorithm for key *** encryption scheme immediately employs Hadamard patterns to illuminate the scene and then utilizes the 3D Arnold transformation to permutate the 1D light signal of single-pixel *** the transformation parameters serve as the secret key,while the security of key exchange is guaranteed by an elliptic curve-based key exchange *** with existing encryption schemes,both computer simulations and optical experiments have been conducted to demonstrate that the proposed technique not only enhances the security of encryption but also eliminates the need for complicated pattern scrambling ***,this approach solves the problem of secure key transmission,thus ensuring the security of information and the quality of the decrypted images.

Transition metal nitrides(TMNs)are considered as viable alternatives to noble metal catalysts owing to their versatile electronic structure and favorable catalytic ***,the conventional synthetic processes for TMNs suffer from high energy consumption and low production *** this study,a range of TMNs and their hetero-composite arrays were successfully synthesized via an ultrafast flash Joule heating technology within 0.5 *** a proof concept,the nitrides and hetero-composites were applied for the electrocatalytic hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR),in which the Co_(4)N/Mo_(16)N_(7)arrays shows the best performance with a geometric current density of 100 mA cm^(-2)at 23 mV(*** hydrogen electrode(RHE)).This work paves a new way for the ultrafast synthesis of TMNs which could meet the ever-increased energy crisis.

Recent studies have shown that the La-and Y-hydrides can exhibit significant superconducting properties under high *** this paper,we investigate the stability,electronic and superconducting properties of LaYH_(x)(x=2,3,6 and 8)under 0-200 *** is found that LaYH_(2) stabilizes in the C2/m phase at ambient pressure,and transforms to the Pmmn phase at 67 ***_(3) stabilizes in the C2/m phase at ambient pressure,and undergoes phase transitions of C2/m→P2_(1)/m→R3m at 12 GPa and 87 GPa,***_(6) stabilizes in the P4_32_12 phase at ambient pressure,and undergoes phase transitions of P4_(3)2_(1)2→P4/mmm→Cmcm at 28 GPa and 79 GPa,***_(8) stabilizes in the Imma phase at 60 GPa and transforms to the P4/mmm phase at 117 *** of the electronic band structures show that the P4/mmm-LaYH_(8) and all phases of LaYH_(2) and LaYH_(3) exhibit metallic *** the metallic phases,we then study their superconducting *** calculated superconducting transition temperatures(T_c)are 0.47 K for C2/m-LaYH_(2) at 0 GPa,0 K for C2/m-LaYH_(3) at 0 GPa,and 55.51 K for P4/mmm-LaYH_(8) at 50 GPa.

The homogeneous and controllable morphology of anhydrous magnesium carbonate(MgCO_(3))particles with excellent properties is difficult to obtain because of a variety of synthetic *** effect of succinic acid as a crystal modifier on the particle morphology transformation of anhydrous MgCO_(3)was investigated by the hydrothermal *** effect of the addition of succinic acid on the particles was similar to that of temperature *** morphology of particles with a folded diamond-like shape was gradually uniform,and the particle size was between 3.3 and 7.5μ*** MgCO_(3)particles prepared at pH 9 could easily agglomerate,and the average particle size increased from diamond-like to cube-like as the reaction time *** interaction between succinic acid and magnesium ions at different concentrations was the main factor responsible for the morphological *** pH,temperature,and time affected the molecular motion rate and crystal growth.

Circularly polarized lasers play a pivotal role in classical optics, nanophotonics, and quantum optical information processing, while their fabrication remains complex. This article begins with examining the interactions between stimulated emission and chiral matter, outlining a simple strategy for producing circularly polarized lasing from chiral metal-organic frameworks(MOFs), such as the zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF), embedded with achiral laser dyes(L∕D-ZIF?dyes). It is found that the stimulated emission threshold and intensity are influenced by the interplay between the chiral polarization of the pump light and the inherent chirality of the MOF nanoparticles. We further present the design of a chiral vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser(VCSEL), comprising an L∕D-ZIF?dyes solid-state film sandwiched between a high-reflectivity distributed Bragg reflector(DBR) mirror and a silver film. The cavity-based lasing exhibits higher asymmetry between emitting left-handed and right-handed polarized light compared to chiral spontaneous emission(SE) and amplified spontaneous emission(ASE), with an asymmetry value glum of approximately ±0.31. This value is nearly four-fold greater than that of SE and twice that of ASE. Our findings reveal a new approach to amplify chiral signals, promoting the comprehension and application of chiral–matter interactions, and offering a simple yet effective strategy to fabricate chiral lasers.

The decomposition and identification of signals are crucial for flow vector acquisition in a multi-dimensional measurement. Here, we proposed a two-dimensional(2D) flow vector measurement system based on all-fiber laser feedback frequency-shifted multiplexing technology. The reliable performance of the system is characterized by experimental verification and numerical simulation. An orthogonal dual-beam structure is employed to eliminate the impact of an unknown incident angle in the practical application. Meanwhile, the vector velocity signals in 2D can be decomposed into one-dimensional(1D) scalar signals by adopting the frequency-shifted multiplexing,which makes it easy to obtain the vector information and velocity distribution of fluid motion through the self-mixing interference frequency spectrum.
