Dear editor,The orientation of a membrane protein can provide important information about its interaction partners,function,and mechanism of *** addition to traditional biochemical assays,new methods have been developed to reveal the orientation of membrane *** example,computer programs have been developed to predict membrane protein topology but often have inaccuracies(Ott and Lingappa,2002;Schwacke et al.,2003).A widely used method is the fluorescence protease protection(FPP)assay(Lomize et al.,2006;Lorenz et al.,2008;White et al.,2015).However,it often fails to give good results for assays of plant membrane ***,we developed a simpler method based on release of a fluorescent protein tag(RFT)by the tobacco etch virus(TEV)protease to overcome the shortcomings of FPP and analyze the orientation of membrane proteins in plants.

Dear editor, Ischemic stroke falls under the category of complex diseases, which do not obey the single-gene dominant or single-gene recessive Mendelian pattern of inheritance but rather arises from the combination of numerous genetic variants and environmental factors （Cho et al., 2012）. Given this degree of complexity, a single compound could never be expected to manage or reverse the effects of a stroke. Recently there has been accumulating evidence suggesting that combination therapies could exert a significant effect on areas affected by a cerebral ischemic stroke. Combination therapies that simultaneously impact multiple targets have promise in the control of complex diseases by way of synergy （Li et al., 2011）.

Dear editor,According to the electromagnetic theory, each scattering center(SC) is equivalent to a mathematical discontinuity in Stratton-Chu integrals [1]. From the view of geometrical structure, the positions of SCs correspond to the discontinuities of surface and specular points. Therefore, the signatures of SCs in radar images can represent the actual geometric characteristics. Three-dimension SC model has been successfully applied for the radar target reconstruction and automatic target recognition(ATR) [2].

Dear editor,This study presents a method to estimate vector miss distance (VMD) for complex objects based on scattering center (SC) models. In the method, the dependence of the SCs on the aspect angle of the light of sight (LOS) is applied in VMD estimation. This method requires only the radar echoes in a short time frame when the flying object approaches to the closet point of approach (CPA).

The internet is an abundant source of news every day. Thus, efficient algorithms to extract keywords from the text are important to obtain information quickly. However, the precision and recall of mature keyword extraction algorithms need improvement. TextRank, which is derived from the PageRank algorithm, uses word graphs to spread the weight of words. The keyword weight propagation in Text Rank focuses only on word frequency. To improve the performance of the algorithm, we propose Semantic Clustering TextRank(SCTR), a semantic clustering news keyword extraction algorithm based on TextRank. Firstly, the word vectors generated by the Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers(BERT) model are used to perform k-means clustering to represent semantic clustering. Then, the clustering results are used to construct a TextRank weight transfer probability matrix. Finally,iterative calculation of word graphs and extraction of keywords are performed. The test target of this experiment is a Chinese news library. The results of the experiment conducted on this text set show that the SCTR algorithm has greater precision, recall, and F1 value than the traditional TextRank and Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency(TF-IDF) algorithms.

Online media have brought tremendous changes to civic life, public opinions, and government administration. Compared with traditional media, online media not only allow individuals to browse news and express their views more freely, but also accelerate the transmission of opinions and expand influence. As public opinions may arouse societal unrest, it is worth detecting the primary topics and uncovering the evolution trends of public opinions for societal administration. Various algorithms are developed to deal with the huge volume of unstructured online media data. In this study,dynamic topic model is employed to explore topic content evolution and prevalence evolution using the original posts published from 2013 to 2017 on the Tianya Zatan Board of Tianya Club, which is one of the most popular BBS in China. based on semantic similarities, topics are grouped into three themes: Family life, societal affairs, and government administration. The evolution of topic prevalence and content are affected by emergent incidents. Topics on family life become popular, while themes"societal affairs" and "government administration" with bigger standard deviations are more likely to be influenced by emergent hot events. Content evolution represented by monthly pairwise distance matrix is very easy to find change points of topic content.

Structural planes play an important role in controlling the stability of rock engineering,and the influence of structural planes should be considered in the design and construction process of rock *** this paper,mechanical properties,constitutive theory,and numerical application of structural plane are studied by a combination method of laboratory tests,theoretical derivation,and program *** test results reveal the change laws of various mechanical parameters under different roughness and normal *** the pre-peak stage,a non-stationary model of shear stiffness is established,and threedimensional empirical prediction models for initial shear stiffness and residual stage roughness are *** nonlinear constitutive models are established based on elasto-plastic mechanics,and the algorithms of the models are developed based on the return mapping *** to a large number of statistical analysis results,empirical prediction models are proposed for model parameters expressed by structural plane characteristic ***,the discrete element method(DEM)is chosen to embed the constitutive models for practical *** running programs of the constitutive models have been compiled into the discrete element model *** comparison results between the proposed model and the Mohr-Coulomb slip model show that the proposed model can better describe nonlinear changes at different stages,and the predicted shear strength,peak strain and shear stiffness are closer to the test *** research results of the paper are conducive to the accurate evaluation of structural plane in rock engineering.
