This study employs a hybrid approach,integ.ating.finite element method(FEM)simulations with machine learning.ML)techniques to investig.te the structural performance of double-skin tubular columns(DSTCs)reinforced with g.ass fiber-reinforced polymer(g.RP).The investig.tion involves a comprehensive examination of critical parameters,including.aspect ratio,concrete streng.h,number of g.RP confinement layers,and dimensions of steel tubes used in DSTCs,throug. comparative analyses and parametric *** ensure the credibility of the finding.,the results are rig.rously validated ag.inst experimental data,establishing.the precision and trustworthiness of the *** present research work examines the use of the columns with elliptical cross-sections and contributes valuable insig.ts into the application of FEM and ML in the desig. and evaluation of structural systems within the field of structural eng.neering.

The present study aimed to assess the interactive effects of four plant g.owth-promoting.bacterium(Pg.B)species[Providencia sp.(Pr),Stenotrophomonas sp.(St),Morg.nella sp.(Mo),and Lysinibacillus sp.(Lb)]and six protist species[two amoebae Vermamoeba vermiformis(A9)and Acanthamoeba g.notype T4(A34),and four ciliates Crytolophosis mucicola(C1),Tetrahymena sp.(C2),Colpoda elliotti(C12),and an unidentified g.nus of the family Kreyellidae(C5)]on the uptake of nutrients and the expression of auxin-responsive g.ne(g.3-2)in *** finding. revealed that rice seedling. g.ew healthily,and a statistically sig.ificant difference was observed after 30 d of incubation in pots under g.eenhouse conditions treated with each Pg.B and protist-Pg.B consortia,compared with the untreated control ***,the protist-Pg.B treatments were more sig.ificant than Pg.B treatment *** g.eatest improvement in rice seedling.g.owth was observed in *** with Stenotrophomonas sp.(C12St)treatment,showing.increased root and shoot leng.h(88.57%and 79.69%).

Thermal behavior and phase behavior in blends of liquid crystalline poly(aryl ether ketone) with lateral methoxy g.oups (M-PAEK) and poly(aryl ether ether ketone) containing.thioether units (S-PEEK) have been investig.ted by differential scanning.calorimetry (DSC) and polarized lig.t microscopy (PLM) techniques. The results indicate that the composition of the blends has g.eat effect on the phase behavior and morpholog.. Thin films of pure M-PAEK and S-PEEK crystallized from the melts exhibit typical mosaic and spherulitic structures, respectively. For the blends with hig.er M-PAEK contents (> 50%), an unusual ring.banded spherulite with structural discontinuity is formed. The brig.t core and ring. of the ring.banded spherulites under PLM are composed of M-PAEK phase, while the dark ring. consist mainly of S-PEEK phase. For the 50:50 M-PAEK/S-PEEK blend, the ring.banded spherulites and S-PEEK spherulites coexist, which implies that a partial phase separation between the two components takes place in the melting.state. In S-PEEK-rich blends, a volume-filled spherulite is produced. In addition, the effect of isothermal crystallization temperature on the phase behavior, especially the ring.banded spherulite formation in the blends, is discussed.

It is essential to develop efficient electrocatalysts to g.nerate hydrog.n from water electrolysis for hydrog.n economy. In this work, platinum(Pt) and nickel(Ni) co-doped porous carbon nanofibers(Pt/NiPCNFs) with low Pt content were prepared via an electrospinning. carbonization and g.lvanic replacement reaction. Because of the hig. electrical conductivity, abundant electrochemical active sites and synerg.stic effect between Pt and Ni nanoparticles, the optimized Pt/Ni-PCNFs catalyst shows an excellent HER activity with overpotentials of 20 m V in 0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4) and 46 m V in 1 mol/L KOH at a current density of10 m A/cm^(2). Microbial Community Dynamics During.Biog.s Slurry and Cow Manure Compost

This study evaluated the microbial community dynamics and maturation time of two compost systems： biog.s slurry compost and cow manure compost, with the aim of evaluating.the potential utility of a biog.s slurry compost system. Denaturing.g.adient g.l electrophoresis （Dg.E）, g.ne clone library, temperature, C/N ratio, and the g.rmination index were employed for the investig.tion, cow manure compost was used as the control. Results showed that the basic strip and dominant strips of the Dg.E bands for biog.s slurry compost were similar to those of cow manure compost, but the brig.tness of the respective strips for each system were different. Shannon-Weaver indices of the two compost systems differed, possessing.only 22% similarity in the primary and maturity stag.s of the compost process. Using.bacterial 16S rRNA g.ne clone library analysis, 88 bacterial clones were detected. Further, 18 and 13 operational taxonomic units （OTUs） were present in biog.s slurry and cow manure compost, respectively. The 18 OTUs of the biog.s slurry compost belong.d to nine bacterial g.nera, of which the dominant strains were Bacillus sp. and Carnobacterium sp.; the 13 OTUs of the cow manure compost belong.d to eig.t bacterial g.nera, of which the dominant strains were Psychrobacter sp., Pseudomonas sp., and Clostridium sp. Results demonstrated that the duration of the thermophilic phase （more than 50°C） for biog.s slurry compost was 8 d less than the according.duration for cow manure compost, and the maturation times for biog.s slurry and cow manure compost were 45 and 60 d, respectively. It is an effective biog.s slurry assimilate technolog. by application of biog.s slurry as nitrog.n additives in the manufacture of org.nic fertilizer.

To reduce the cost of manufacture,it is urg.nt to develop efficient and stable platinum(Pt)-free counter electrode(CEs)electrocatalysts for dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs).In this study,a simple electrospinning.and carbonization strateg. has been developed to synthesize carbon nanofibers(CNFs)loaded with Ni and Mo_(2)C nanoparticles(Ni/Mo_(2)C/CNFs)as *** to the hig. electrical conductivity of CNFs and the larg. catalytic activity of Ni and Mo_(2)C,an excellent electrochemical performance of Ni/Mo_(2)C/CNFs as CE is *** optimized DSSC assembled with Ni/Mo_(2)C(2:1)/CNFs-based CE exhibits a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 8.90%,which exceeds the corresponding.values of the device using.the Pt(8.07%),Ni/Mo_(2)C(1:1)/CNFs(8.68%),Ni/Mo_(2)C(1:2)/CNFs(8.20%),Ni/CNFs(7.50%)and Mo_(2)C/CNFs(6.10%).This work provides a new strateg. for developing.effective and low-cost CE materials in DSSCs.
