A Zonotopic-Based Watermarking design to detect Replay Attacks

This paper suggests the use of zonotopes for the design of watermark *** proposed approach exploits the recent analogy found between stochastic and zonotopic-based estimators to propose a deterministic counterpart to current approaches that study the replay attack in the context of stationary Gaussian *** this regard,the zonotopic analogous case where the control loop is closed based on the estimates of a zonotopic Kalman filter(ZKF)is *** formulation allows to propose a new performance metric that is related to the Frobenius norm of the prediction ***,the steadystate operation of the system can be related with the size of the minimal robust Positive invariant set of the estimation ***,analogous expressions concerning the impact that a zonotopic/Gaussian watermark signal has on the system operation are ***,a novel zonotopically bounded watermark signal that ensures the attack detection by causing the residual vector to exit the healthy residual set during the replay phase of the attack is *** proposed approach is illustrated in simulation using a quadruple-tank process.

in this paper, coordinating technique for the multi-layer model predictive control（MPC） of complex water network is proposed. A multi-layer topology structure resulting from a functional decomposition of water network is briefly presented. inside each layer, a MPC based controller is used. Between the related two layers, a multi-layer coordinating mechanism is provided to generate control strategies which consider objectives and time scales of both layers. Optimal Path Method（OPM） is used to estimate aggregated water price for the whole layer. The case study is the Catalunya Regional Water Network. Simulation results based on an aggregate model of this network are provided.

This paper proposed an alternatively adaptive high-gain observer to achieve the joint estimation of unknown internal states and parameters in the equivalent electric circuit model of vanadium redox flow batteries(VRFBs). Since unknown parameters are included in the output model of VRFBs, unknown parameters considered as state variables are mainly adopted in most existing observers such that Kalman filter-based observers can be established. Different to those observers, this paper presents an adaptive high-gain observer with an extra compensation term including the information of estimated ***, the adaptive law is designed directly by parameter errors in contrast to the well-known gradient-descent method such that the coupling effect between unknown states and parameters is reduced. Moreover, the exponential convergence of parameter errors can be guaranteed under the persistent excitation condition of systems. Finally, comparative simlulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive high-gain observer.

Background:Urogenital schistosomiasis is a parasitic infection of public health importance that affects over 112 million people *** study aimed at assessing the urogenital schistosomiasis prevalence and risk factors of transmission around Mape dam suburds in Malantouen district,West,***:The study was conducted using semi-structured pretested questionnaires to collect socio-demographic and ecological *** samples were also collected and used to confirm the prevalence of schistosomiasis in consented school-aged children in four primary schools between March-July ***’samples around the dam surburbs were also collected for taxonomy characterization and species *** were compiled and quality control assessed and analysed using SPSS version 17 and Epiinfo data 3.1.Pidered statistical ***:Questionnaires were administered to 229 pupils,with gender ratio of 1.04(m/f).The prevalence of schistosomiasis haematobium was 16.6%.Mambonko school site,which is the closest to the dam suburbs,registered the greatest prevalence rate of 40%.The age group beween 10-13 years was the most infected(18.3%)and boys were more infested than girls(21.0%vs.15.5%).Haematuria,urination pain,school absentiesm and poor performance were the major recorded complications in 39.5 and 26.3%males to female *** rate gender disparity documented is still poorly understood and Bulinus truncatus collected from Mambonko suburb as potential snail intermediate host requires further ***:Authors advocated that schools and dam suburds sustained and innovative community-based surveillance and response targeted interventions implementation are needed to inform and support decisionmaking policy,but also in improving effective contextual behavioural communication changes and MDA improved uptake measures on national schistosomiasis control and elimination in Cameroon.
