The CoVID-19 pandemic that started in late 2019 is sweeping through the world,posing historic challenges to global health,and disrupting social and economic *** and recent studies indicate that monoclonal antibodies can be efficacious in preventing and treating SARSCoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 *** a phage display platform,we have identified dozens of monoclonal antibodies that bind to diverse epitope groups on the SARS-CoV-2 spike *** of them bound to the receptor binding domain(RBD)and inhibited ACE2-RBD interaction.

Petroleum production in the Rio del Rey Basin,which is an extension of the Niger Delta of Nigeria into Cameroon,has been limited to the Tertiary offshore portion since the late *** to dedlining reserves in this offshore portion,the onshore Cretaceous portion of the basin attracted significant attention in the last *** the present *** from outcrops in the onshore portion of the basin were analyzed to evaluate their potential as source rocks,assess hydrocarbon generation,and highlight their signifcance for *** observations,total organic carbon(TOC)measure-ments,and Rock Eval pyrolysis were used to generate data for these ***-eval S2 values(0.42-3 mg HC/g rock)based on measured present-day TOC values(0.58-2.44 wtx)of the shales studied signify poor to fair source rock potentials,whereas calculated S2 values(1.74-8.19 mg HC/g rock)based on estimated original TOC values(0.67-2.87 wt%)produced fair to good source rocks containing Type Ⅱ/Ⅲ kerogen,which were transformed by maturity to the present-day Type Ⅲ/Ⅳ *** of the samples based on Tmax values varying between 439 and 471℃are equivalent to maturity values ranging between 0.74% R_(r) and 1.32% R_(r), and these represent the peak oil to condensate/wet gas zones of hy-drocarbon *** results demonstrate that mature source rocks are present in the onshore part of the Rio del Rey Basin,and thus,it is suitable for petroleum exploration.

Low-Complexity Integrated Super-Resolution Sensing and Communication with Signal Decimation and Ambiguity Removal

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is one of the main usage scenarios for the sixth-generation (6G) wireless networks. To most efficiently utilize the limited wireless resources， integrated super-resolution sensing and communication (ISSAC) has been recently proposed to significantly improve sensing performance with super-resolution algorithms for ISAC systems， such as the Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm. However， traditional super-resolution sensing algorithms suffer from prohibitive computational complexity for orthogonal-frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems due to the large dimensions of the signals in the subcarrier and symbol domains. To address such issues， we propose a novel two-stage approach to significantly reduce the computational complexity for super-resolution range estimation. The key idea of the proposed scheme is to first uniformly decimate signals in the subcarrier domain， so that the computational complexity is significantly reduced without missing any target in the range domain. However， the decimation operation may result in range ambiguity due to pseudo peaks， which is addressed by the second stage where the total collocated subcarrier data are used for verification of the detected peaks. Compared with traditional MUSIC algorithms， the proposed scheme reduces computational complexity by two orders of magnitude， while maintaining the range resolution and unambiguity. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

This article presents an 8-element dual-polarized phased-array transceiver(TRX)front-end IC for millimeter-wave(mm-Wave)5G new radio(NR).Power enhancement technologies for power amplifiers(PA)in mm-Wave 5G phased-array TRX are discussed.A four-stage wideband high-power class-AB PA with distributed-active-transformer(DAT)power combining and multi-stage second-harmonic traps is proposed,ensuring the mitigated amplitude-to-phase(AM-PM)distortions across wide carrier frequencies without degrading transmitting(TX)power,gain and *** and receiving(RX)switching is achieved by a matching network co-designed on-chip T/R *** each TRX element,6-bit 360°phase shifting and 6-bit 31.5-dB gain tuning are respectively achieved by the digital-controlled vector-modulated phase shifter(VMPS)and differential attenuator(ATT).Fabricated in 65-nm bulk complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS),the proposed TRX demonstrates the measured peak TX/RX gains of 25.5/21.3 dB,covering the 24−29.5 GHz *** measured peak TX OP1dB and power-added efficiency(PAE)are 20.8 dBm and 21.1%,*** measured minimum RX NF is 4.1 *** TRX achieves an output power of 11.0−12.4 dBm and error vector magnitude(EVM)of 5%with 400-MHz 5G NR FR2 OFDM 64-QAM signals across 24−29.5 GHz,covering 3GPP 5G NR FR2 operating bands of n257,n258,and n261.

To design a high-performance multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)automotive radar system with simple hardware architecture, this study presents a daisy-chain cascading design scheme, implementing the two-dimensional(2D)nonuniform antenna array with high-gain antennas for 2D angle estimation. The improvements in the designed radar system are primarily divided into three parts. First, a daisy-chain cascading topology will cause severe phase deviations; hence, we rigorously analyzed the influence of the phase deviations and proposed a low-cost phase-alignment procedure to address this concern. Second, to obtain 2D angular resolution and a longer working range with limited channels, a novel 2D antenna array design principle facilitating the arrangement of high-gain antennas was presented. Third, a new phase compensation procedure was developed to mitigate the deterioration of angular accuracy in the elevation plane. Based on the proposed design scheme, a frequency-modulated continuous-wave(FMCW)radar prototype with two transceiver chips, i.e., six transmitters and eight receivers, was successfully built. The prototype radar system’s performance was tested through an anechoic chamber and outdoor experiments. Consequently,an angular resolution of 3.5° in azimuth and 12.5° in elevation was featured in the anechoic ***, using the 2D conventional beam-forming, the outdoor experiment captured high-resolution 2D angular estimation results, thus demonstrating the superior performance of the designed prototype system.

Multiple access(MA) technology is of most importance for 5G. Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) utilizing power domain and advanced receiver has been considered as a promising candidate MA technology recently. In this paper, the NOMA concept is presented toward future enhancements of spectrum efficiency in lower frequency bands for downlink of 5G system. Key component technologies of NOMA are presented and discussed including multiuser transmission power allocation, scheduling algorithm, receiver design and combination of NOMA with multi-antenna technology. The performance gains of NOMA are evaluated by system-level simulations with very practical assumptions. Under multiple configurations and setups, the achievable system-level gains of NOMA are shown promising even when practical considerations were taken into account.
