In modern gas turbines,the High Pressure Turbine(HPT)is exposed to an extreme thermal environment due to the burned gases leaving the *** burned gases are characterized by flow and temperature distortions that effect the aerodynamics and heat transfer of the *** purpose of this paper is to investigate numerically the effect of the intensity of the swirling flow combined with the temperature non-uniformity‘‘Hot-Streak"(H-S)on the aerothermal performances of a HPT Nozzle Guide Vane(NGV).The investigations are conducted on the solid untwisted NGV annular cascade developed in NASA Lewis Research *** swirl intensities(|S_(n)|=0,0.1,0.25 and 0.5),two swirl orientations(positive and negative)and two hot-streaks(rounded and radial)at the NGV inlet are *** simulations are done by solving the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS)equations using ANSYS-CFX *** results show that the H-S with swirl undergoes twisting following the orientation of the *** H-S twist is aggressive under positive swirl compared to the negative swirl *** inlet swirl generates a new secondary flow structure,so called Swirl Vortex(SV),which induces more aerodynamic *** aerodynamic efficiency under negative swirl found to be higher than that under positive *** maximum temperature on the vane surface is controlled by the radial transport of the SV towards the endwalls.

Free organic solvent ink containing graphite, carboxymethyl cellulose and microfibrillated cellulose as active material, dispersing and binder, respectively, has been formulated to produce flexible and eco- sustainable electrodes for lithium ion batteries. Content ratio of components and dispersion protocol were tailored in order to have theological properties suitable for a large and cheap manufacturing process as well as screen printing. The bio-sourced printed electrodes exhibit a high porosity value of 70% that limits the electrochemical performances. However, the calendering process enhances electrode performances by increasing the reversible capacity from 85 until 315 mAh/g and reducing porosity to an optimal value of 34%. Moreover the introduction of 2% w/w of monofluoro-ethylene carbonate in the electrolyte reduced their reversible capacity loss of 11% in the printed electrode.

The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015−2030’s(SFDRR)framing moved away from disaster risk as a natural phenomenon to the examination of the inequality and injustice at the root of human vulnerability to hazards and ***,its achievements have not seriously challenged the long-established capitalist systems of oppression that hinder the development leading to disaster risk *** article is an exploratory mapping exercise of and a collective reflection on Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)and SFDRR indicators-and their use in measuring progress towards disaster risk reduction(DRR).We highlight that despite the rhetoric of vulnerability,the measurement of progress towards DRR remains event/*** argue that the measurement of disaster risk could be greatly enhanced by the integration of development data in future iterations of global DRR frameworks for action.

The vegetable wastes and flower stems were co-digested to evaluate the anaerobic hydrolysis performance of difficultly biodegradable organic wastes by introducing readily biodegradable organic wastes. The experiments were carried out in batches. When the vegetable wastes were mixed with the flower stems at the dry weight ratio of 1 to 13, the overall hydrolysis rate increased by 8%, 12%, and 2% according to the carbon, nitrogen, and total solid （TS） conversion rate, respectively. While the dry weight ratio was designed as 1 to 3, there was a respective rise of 5%, 15%, and 4% in the conversion rate of carbon, nitrogen, and TS. The enhancement of anaerobic hydrolysis from the mixed vegetable wastes and flower stems can be attributed to the formation of volatile fatty acids （VFA） and nutrient supplement like nitrogen content. The maximum VFA concentration can achieve 1.7 g/L owing to the rapid acidification of vegetable wastes, loosing the structure of lignocellulose materials. The statistic bivariate analysis revealed that the hydrolysis performance was significantly related to the physical and biochemical compositions of the feeding substrate. Especially, the soluble carbon concentration in the liquid was significantly positively correlated to the concentration of nitrogen and hemicellulose, and negatively correlated to the concentration of carbon and lignocellulose in the feeding substrate, suggesting that the regulation and control of feedstock can have an important influence on the anaerobic hydrolysis of organic wastes.

The solution-treated Mg-4Y-4Sm-0.5Zr alloy was extruded at temperatures from 325℃ to 500℃.Dynamic recrystallization(DRX) completely occurs when the alloy is extruded at 350℃and *** grains of the extruded alloy are obviously refined by the occurrence of *** average grain size of the extruded alloy increases with increasing the extrusion temperature,leading to a slight decrease of the ultimate tensile strength(UTS) and the yield strength(YS) .On the contrary,the UTS and YS of the extruded and aged alloy increase with increasing the extrusion *** of UTS of 400 MPa,YS larger than 300 MPa and elongation(EL) of 7%are achieved after extrusion at 400℃ and ageing at 200℃ for 16 *** grain refinement and precipitation are efficient strengthening mechanisms for the Mg-4Y-4Sm-0.5Zr alloy.

The microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-Zn-Ho-Zr alloys have been investigated in detail. The grain size of the as-cast Mg-Zn-Ho-Zr alloy was greatly decreased by the addition of Ho, and the grain growth during solution treatment was suppressed by Mg-Zn-Ho phases formed at grain boundaries. These thermally stable Mg-Zn-Ho phases could not completely dissolve into the matrix dur- ing solution treatment, and the strengthening effect of solution-plus-ageing treatment weakened. The addition of Ho can greatly enhance the high-temperature elongation of the Mg-Zn-Ho-Zr alloy, but the increase of high-temperature tensile strength was just a little.

The effects of aging treatment on the microstructures and mechanical properties of extruded AM50 ＋ xCa alloys （x=0, 1, 2 wt.%） were studied. The results indicated the secondary phase Mgl7Al12 precipitated from the saturated α-Mg solid solution while Al2Ca changed slightly when the aging time was increased. The hardness of extruded AM50 ＋ xCa al- loys increased initially to its peak, and then dropped to reach its original hardness with the increase in aging time. With the increase in aging temperature, the hardness of the AM50 ＋ 2Ca ahoy decreased, whereas the hardness of AM50 and AM50 ＋ 1Ca alloys decreased in the initial stages of aging treatment and increased in the later stages of aging treatment. The tensile strengths of AM50 and AM50 ＋ 1Ca alloys increased after aging treatment for the precipitation of Mg17Al12 phase, which increases the resistance against dislocation movement at the grain boundary; with increase in aging temperature, their tensile strengths increased. For AM50 ＋ 2Ca alloy, the tensile strength declined after aging at 150℃ and 175℃, while it increased slightly at 200℃. The ductility of AM50 ＋ xCa alloys （x = 0, 1, 2 wt.%） declined after aging treatment.

We present theoretically the formation of exciton–photon polaritons and exciton-surface plasmon polaritons in a perovskite-based subwavelength lattice on the metallic *** is shown that the later polaritons will be achieved as the perovskite layer is ultra-thin(<50 nm),while the co-existence of both polaritons will dominate,as the thickness of the perovskite metasurface approaches *** the two cases,the lower polaritonic branches consist of dark and bright modes corresponding to infinite and finite radiative quality factors,*** salient property in this work is that it allows one to obtain exceptional points(EPs)in momentum space with a four-fold enhancement of local density of states through engineering the perovskite *** findings show that the perovskite metasurface is an attractive and rich platform to make polaritonic devices,even with the presence of a lossy metallic layer.

Using proton-proton collision data at centre-of-mass energies of and 13 TeV recorded by the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb-1,the invariant mass spectrum of J/ψ pairs is studied.A narrow structure around 6:9 GeV=c^2 matching the lineshape of a resonance and a broad structure just above twice the J/ψ mass are *** deviation of the data from nonresonant J/ψ-pair production is above five standard deviations in the mass region between 6:2 and 7:4 GeV=c^2,covering predicted masses of states composed of four charm *** mass and natural width of the narrow X(6900)structure are measured assuming a Breit-Wigner lineshape.
