Graph visualization plays an important role in several fields,such as social media networks,protein-protein interaction networks,and traffic networks.A number of visualization design tools and programming toolkits have been widely used in graph-related ***,a key challenge remains in the high-efficiency visualization of large-scale graph *** this study,we present ***,an open-source and WebGL-based JavaScript library that supports the fast visualization of large-scale graph data(up to 50 thousand nodes and 1 million edges)at an interactive frame rate with a commodity *** results demonstrate that our library outperforms existing toolkits(***,***,***,and ***)in terms of performance.

A fundamental aspect of society is the exchange and discussion of opinions between individuals, occurring in situations as varied as company boardrooms, elementary school classrooms and online social media. After a very brief introduction to the established results of the most fundamental opinion dynamics models, which seek to mathematically capture observed social phenomena, a brief discussion follows on several recent themes pursued by the authors building on the fundamental ideas. in the first theme, we study the way an individual′s self-confidence can develop through contributing to discussions on a sequence of topics, reaching a consensus in each case,where the consensus value to some degree reflects the contribution of that individual to the conclusion. During this process, the individuals in the network and the way they interact can change. The second theme introduces a novel discrete-time model of opinion dynamics to study how discrepancies between an individual′s expressed and private opinions can arise due to stubbornness and a pressure to conform to a social norm. it is also shown that a few extremists can create "pluralistic ignorance", where people believe there is majority support for a position but in fact the position is privately rejected by the majority. Last, we consider a group of individuals discussing a collection of logically related topics. in particular, we identify that for topics whose logical interdependencies take on a cascade structure,disagreement in opinions can occur if individuals have competing and/or heterogeneous views on how the topics are related, i.e., the logical interdependence structure varies between individuals.

An electroencephalogram(EEG)-based brain–computer interface(BCi) speller allows a user to input text to a computer by thought. it is particularly useful to severely disabled individuals, e.g. amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients, who have no other effective means of communication with another person or a *** studies so far focused on making EEG-based BCi spellers faster and more reliable; however, few have considered their security. This study, for the first time, shows that P300 and steady-state visual evoked potential BCi spellers are very vulnerable, i.e. they can be severely attacked by adversarial perturbations,which are too tiny to be noticed when added to EEG signals, but can mislead the spellers to spell anything the attacker wants. The consequence could range from merely user frustration to severe misdiagnosis in clinical applications. We hope our research can attract more attention to the security of EEG-based BCi spellers, and more broadly, EEG-based BCis, which has received little attention before.

Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of styrene catalyzed by cuprous (CuX)/1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) and CuX/CuX2/Phen was conducted in an aqueous dispersed system. A stable latex was obtained by using ionic surfactant sodium lauryl sulfonate (SLS) or composite surfactants, such as SLS/polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether (OP-10), SLS/hexadecanol and SLS/OP-10/hexadecanol, Among which SLS and SLS/OP-10/hexadecanol systems established better dispersed effect during the polymerization, it was found that Phen was a more suitable ligand than N,N,N',N',N'-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) to maintain an appropriate equilibrium of the activator Cu(i) and the deactivator Cu(ii) between the organic phase and the water phase, The effect of several initiators (such as EBiB, CCl4 and 1-PEBr) and the temperature on such a kind of ATRP system was also observed. The number-average molar mass (M-n) of polystyrene (PS) increased with the conversion and the molar mass distribution (M-w/M-n) remained narrow. These experimental data show that the polymerization could be controlled except for the quick increase of monomer conversion and the number-average molar mass of PS in the initial stage of polymerization. Furthermore, the initiator efficiency was found to be low (similar to57%) in CuX/Phen catalyzed system. To overcome this problem, Cu(ii)X-2 (20 mol%-50 mol% based on CuX) was introduced into the polymerization system. in this case, higher initiator efficiency (60%-90%), low M-w/M-n of PS (as low as 1.08) were achieved and the molar masses of the PS fit with the theoretical ones.

Classification tool for the systematic histological assessment of hepatocellular carcinoma, macroregenerative nodules, and dysplastic nodules in cirrhotic liver

AiM： To design a classification tool for the histological assessment of hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）, dysplastic nodules （DN）, and macroregenerative nodules （MRN） in cirrhotic liver. METHODS： Two hundred and twelve hepatocellular nodules （106 HCC; 74 iRN, 32 DN） were assessed systematically, quantitatively, and semiquantitatively as appropriate for 10 histological features that have been described as helpful in distinguishing small HCC, DN, and MRN in cirrhotic livers. The data were analyzed by multiple correspondence analysis （MCA）. RESULTS： HCA distributed HCC, DN, and HRN as defined by traditional histological evaluation as well as the individual histological variables, in a ＂malignancy scale＂. Based on the MCA data representation, we created a classification tool, which categorizes an individual nodular lesion as MRN, DN, or HCC based on the balance of all histological features （i.e., vascular invasion, capsular invasion, tumor necrosis, tumor heterogeneity, reticulin loss, capillarization of sinusoids, trabecular thickness, nuclear atypia, and mitotic activity）. The classification tool classified most （83%） of a validation set of 47 nodules in the same way as the routine histological assessment. No discrepandes were present for DN and MRN between the routine histological assignment and the dassification tool. Of 25 HCC assigned by routine assessment in the validation set, 8 were assigned to the DN category by the classification tool. CONCLUSiON： We have designed a classification tool for the histological assessment of HCC and its putative precursors in cirrhotic liver. Application of this toolsystematically records histological features of diagnostic importance in the evaluation of small HCC.

Maximizing influence in Temporal social Networks:A Node Feature-Aware Voting Algorithm

influence Maximization(iM)aims to select a seed set of size k in a social network so that information can be spread most widely under a specific information propagation model through this set of ***,most existing studies on the iM problem focus on static social network features,while neglecting the features of temporal social *** bridge this gap,we focus on node features reflected by their historical interaction behavior in temporal social networks,i.e.,interaction attributes and self-similarity,and incorporate them into the influence maximization algorithm and information propagation ***,we propose a node feature-aware voting algorithm,called iSVoteRank,for seed nodes ***,before voting,the algorithm sets the initial voting ability of nodes in a personalized manner by combining their *** the voting process,voting weights are set based on the interaction strength between nodes,allowing nodes to vote at different extents and subsequently weakening their voting ability *** process concludes by selecting the top k nodes with the highest voting scores as seeds,avoiding the inefficiency of iterative seed selection in traditional voting-based ***,we extend the independent Cascade(iC)model and propose the Dynamic independent Cascade(DiC)model,which aims to capture the dynamic features in the information propagation process by combining node ***,experiments demonstrate that the iSVoteRank algorithm has been improved in both effectiveness and efficiency compared to baseline methods,and the influence spread through the DiC model is improved compared to the iC model.

This paper introduces a caching technique based on a volumetric representation that captures low-frequency indirect *** structure is intended for efficient storage and manipulation of *** is based on a 3D grid that stores a fixed set of irradiance *** preprocessing,this representation can be built using almost any existing global illumination *** rendering,the indirect illumination within a voxel is interpolated from its associated irradiance vectors,and is used as additional local light *** with other techniques,the 3D vector-based representation of our technique offers increased robustness against local geometric variations of a *** thus demonstrate that it may be employed as an efficient and high-quality caching data structure for bidirectional rendering techniques such as particle tracing or photon mapping.

The traditional deep learning model has problems that the longdistance dependent information cannot be learned, and the correlation between the input and output of the model is not considered. And the information processing on the sentence set is still insufficient. Aiming at the above problems, a relation extraction method combining bidirectional GRU network and multiattention mechanism is proposed. The word-level attention mechanism was used to extract the word-level features from the sentence, and the sentence-level attention mechanism was used to focus on the characteristics of sentence sets. The experimental verification in the NYT dataset was conducted. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the F1 value of the relationship extraction.

This paper describes tonal contrasts in Xiuning Hui Chinese dialect in terms of a detailed acoustic phonetic analysis of F0 and duration data from 10 native speakers. There are 2 level tones,2 rising tones,1 falling tone and 1 concave tone in Xiuning. The results show that pitch levels and pitch contours both contribute to the characterization of tones. And a detailed examination of tonal contours reveals that speakers may employ different articulatory strategies in tonal production. Phonological consequences are also discussed on the basis of the phonetic data.
