Many Propositions are made about the mechanism of emplacement of volcanoclastic material in the Bombay volcanic complex. The present paper deals exclusively with the physical features of the deposits laid by a complex tectono-magmatic process by making detailed inventory of the different kind of volcanic ejecta exposed in the Bomay Volcanic Complex (BVC), and an attempt has been made to classify the deposits genetically. A subsidenace which was hinted at earlier, may be a possible cauldron in BVC has been proposed, which might be responsible for producing such a varied and complex lithology.

The boudins can be of symmetric as well as asymmetric type and can help in determining shear sense and help unfold the deformational history, hence are important structure for recognizing the history of deformation in an area;Once the rocks of an area undergo polyphase of deformation, the boudins get modified and can no longer help in determining the deformational evidences. The present study involves identification of various types of boudins their classification and morphology as per existing status of knowledge and their role in determining the type of deformation in Neem Ka Thana belt, Proterozoic rocks of North Delhi fold belt. The study of symmetric, asymmetric and modified boudins in the area enabled the author to deduce that the rocks in above belt have suffered a ployphase deformation marked with flattening type of progressive deformation during the first phase (DF1) of deformation and the second phase (DF2) with a time gap, has produced modified boudins and folded boudin structures with the largely same axis of deformation in both these deformations.

The Khetri copper belt is a well-known metallotect in northern part of Delhi fold belt in Rajasthan. On the eastern margin of the Khetri sub basin of North Delhi basin separated by a basement high, another sub basin Alwar-Ajabgarh sub basin exposes that a thick sequence of Ajabgarh group of rocks overlies a thick arenaceous sequence of Alwar group of Delhi Super Group of rocks. The Ajabgarh meta sediments here in the Neem Ka thana area are characterized by presence of Bornite dominated copper mineralization with silver association and minor presence of Pb. The mineralization has been described by various workers as strata-bound, hypogene and IOCG. But these inferences are based on part information and the inference drawn is sectorial in nature. The current study includes a holistic study based on exploration over a period of more than two decades and the data generated suggest thereof, that this syngenetic sulphide mineralization associated with the sedimentation of marl and carbonate rocks. Subsequently it has been relocated during 2nd deformation accompanied by epigenetic component of mineralization depicted in terms of vein filled coarse grained aggregates of bornite and chalcopyrite disposed across the general disposition of litho-package. The EPMA and fluid inclusion data generated from the area indicate association of typical hydrothermal environment minerals like, Perkrite, Wittchenite, Aguilarite, Molybdnite etc. The mineralizing fluids have been trapped between the temperature ranges of 130°C to 375°C with average being 250°C to 300°C. The fluid salinity also varies from near pure hot water to moderately saline fluid indicative of multi-episodic mineralization of syngenetic nature coupled with epigenetic component. The ore textures indicate 500°C temperature range;certain intergrowths of minerals like specular hematite and bornite suggest the occurrence of hypogene environment induced due to emplacement of granite/pegmatite on the eastern and sou

We present a model of a universe that transitions from an early deceleration phase to the current acceleration phase under the framework of general relativity, in the presence of gravitational coupling G（t） and cosmological terms A（t）. Einstein＇s field equations have been solved by considering the time dependent deceleration parameter （DP） which renders the scale factor e = （thekt）1/m where m, n and k are positive con- stants. The cosmological term （A （t）） is found to be positive and a decreasing function of time, which supports the result obtained from observations of type Ia supernovae. The geometrical and kinematical features of the model are examined in detail.

Agriculture has played an important role in the growth of the Indian *** and electricity are essential inputs for agriculture *** produces the third-largest amount of electricity in the world,behind China and the *** an incentive to increase production,most states provide free electricity to *** electricity has decreased groundwater levels and increased electricity *** objective of this study was to find out the factors that influenced farmers to adopt a solar water-pumping system in *** samples were randomly *** study examined the entire state of *** hundred and fifty farmers who adopted solar water-pumping systems were interviewed,including 50 banana farmers,50 cotton farmers and 50 groundnut *** data were collected through an *** adoption of solar water-pumping systems by farmers was identified using factor *** software was used to analyse the data *** this study,only two factors contributed to the variance of 59.469%.The adoption of solar water pumps by farmers was influenced by government policy and economic *** economic benefit variance of 33.20%was found,while a government policy variance was 26.27%.A solar water-pumping system has low initial costs,flexible credit policies motivate adoption,solar water-pumping systems can save electricity,and maintenance and repair costs are *** policy that includes solar water-pumping systems is motivated by awareness,subsidies for adoption and a fair price to sell energy *** are recommended to adopt a solar water-pumping system in conjunction with a drip irrigation system to receive additional *** successful scheme will be recommended to other states in India for implementation.

Betul belt is known for its volcanic massive sulphide type of mineralization in the geological circles of India. But here the betul belt has been presented with a different qualification, which is graphite mineralization. The graphite mineralization is popularly known within the proterozoic sediments of Aravalli Supegroup of rocks in South Rajasthan and in its extension in the Jhabua and Alirajpur districts of Madhaya Pradesh. The graphite mineralization in Betul belt is confined to the supracrustals enclosed within the granite gneisses and has been brought on the national map after the recently explored blocks by geological survey of India, which were auctioned for the commercial exploitation. This paper briefly discuses the possible mechanism of formation and the nature of mineralization of graphite here in this belt, essentially based on the inferences drawn from petrography supported by scanning electron microscopic and XRD data. It is concluded that major proportion of the graphite mineralization here is accumulated due to progressive metamorphism of the organic matter deposited along with various sediments, while a considerable component has been contributed by the precipitation from super critical graphite rich fluids.

A novel single cathode chamber and multiple anode chamber microbial fuel cell design（MAC-MFC）was developed by incorporating multiple anode chambers into a single unit and its performance was *** 60 days of operation,performance of MAC-MFC was assessed and compared with standard single anode/cathode chamber microbial fuel cell（SC-MFC）.The tests showed that MAC-MFC generated stable and higher power outputs compared with SC-MFC and each anode chamber contributed ***,MAC-MFCs were incorporated with different wastewaters in different anode chambers and their behavior in MFC performance was ***-MFC efficiently treated multiple wastewaters simultaneously at low cost and small space,which claims its candidature for future possible scale-up applications.

We have searched for the existence of the late time acceleration of the universe with string fluid as the source of matter in Bianchi-V space-time. To derive a deterministic solution, we choose the scale factor to be an increasing function of time that yields a time dependent deceleration parameter, representing a model which generates a universe showing a transition from an early decelerating phase to a recent accelerating phase. The study reveals that strings dominate the early universe and eventually disappear from the universe for sufficiently large times, i.e. in the present epoch. This picture is consistent with current astronomical observations. The physical behavior of the universe is discussed in detail.

We present the model of an anisotropic universe with string fluid as the source of matter within the framework of the scalar-tensor theory of gravitation. An exact solution of field equations is obtained by applying Berman＇s law of variation to Hubble＇s parameter which yields a constant value of the deceleration parameter. The nature of classical potential is examined for the model under consideration. It has also been found that the massive strings dominate in the early universe and finally disap-pear from the universe. This is in agreement with current astronomical observations. The physical and dynamical properties of the model are also discussed.

Castor(Ricinus communis L.)is an important tropical oilseed crop,whose oil has versatile,practical value,especially in *** present study aimed to estimate the nature and magnitude of variability in the castor germplasm concerning yield and its component traits and physico-biochemical *** yield per plant and oil content ranged from 80.90 g(ICS-165)to 248.30 g(RG-3216),and 34.7%(ICS-172)to 58.7%(JI-277),*** iodine value of oil ranged from 76.36(JI-370)to 89.84(P2-135)with an average value of *** mean saponification value of oil was *** genotypic and phenotypic coefficients of variation were high for acid value,capsules on the main raceme,seed yield per plant,and total length of the main raceme.A positive association of porosity,average unit volume,and total length of the main raceme with seed yield per plant showed that these characters might be directly attributed to seed yield *** Manhattan distances,the 30 genotypes were grouped into 3 *** genetic diversity was elucidated using SSR and SRAP *** marker produced higher mean number of total bands(5.71),polymorphic bands(4.57),percentage polymorphism(83.10%),PIC(1.72),RP(5.90),mean RP(1.02),MR(5.71),EMR(4.57)and MI(1.44)values when compared to SSR(2.89,2.11,79.63%,0.61,1.90,0.72,2.89,2.11 and 0.49,respectively)*** highest genetic distance(0.77)was between 48-1 and JI-370,which indicated that these genotypes could be used in biparental mating schemes,QTL map development,and hybridization programmes to increase oil content and quality for industrial purposes.
