Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)exhibits a greater capacity for cadmium(Cd)absorption compared to other cereal crops,leading to elevated daily Cd intake,and posing a signiﬁcant threat to public *** the mitigation of Cd stress in sustainable and environmentally friendly way,a pot study was designed by using exogenous application of various biostimulants,i.e.,Nigella sativa and Ocimum sanctum extracts:0%,10%,and 20%in combination with the chelating agent ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA)using 0 and 5 mg kg^(-1) under various levels of Cd stress(i.e.,0,5,10,and 15 mg kg^(-1) soil).Results revealed that Cd stress signiﬁcantly reduced the seed emergence,growth,root,and allometric characters and yield-related parameters of wheat *** most observable reduc-tion was documented in wheat plants exposed to a higher Cd concentration(15 mg kg^(-1)),followed by the lower Cd level(control).The combined application of bio-stimulants and EDTA minimized the negative impacts of Cd *** highest increase in seedling emergence(5.4.%),leaf area(50.60%),number of tillers(31.02%),grain yield per plant(24.28%),biological yield(13.97%),and decrease in Cd levels in grains(4.%)was noticed where 20%foliar application of *** and 10%of *** biostimulants were done using 5 mg kg^(-1) of soil-applied *** intervention demonstrated a notable reduction in Cd-induced negative effects,highlighting the potential of these substances in promoting sustainable wheat cultivation in contaminated ***,it is an eco-friendly and approachable method at theﬁeld level able to ensure food safety.

We introduce the notions of differential graded(DG) Poisson algebra and DG Poisson module. Let A be any DG Poisson algebra. We construct the universal enveloping algebra of A explicitly, which is denoted by A^(ue). We show that A^(ue) has a natural DG algebra structure and it satisfies certain universal property. As a consequence of the universal property, it is proved that the category of DG Poisson modules over A is isomorphic to the category of DG modules over A^(ue). Furthermore, we prove that the notion of universal enveloping algebra A^(ue) is well-behaved under opposite algebra and tensor product of DG Poisson algebras. Practical examples of DG Poisson algebras are given throughout the paper including those arising from differential geometry and homological algebra.

Electric vehicles(EVs)are going to overrule the transportation sector due to their pollution-free technology and low running ***,charging the EVs causes significant power demand and stress on the power delivery *** challenge can be tackled well when charging and discharging scheduling are coordinated with intelligent EV *** this work,two-stage charging and discharging scheduling are *** the first stage,a time scheduling algorithm is structured to identify EV charging/discharging slots at different hours,and at a later stage,the slots are optimally distributed among different charging *** of the EVs towards the EVCSs has been designed to enhance the useful participation of the EVs in the charging and discharging *** this regard,a possible number of EVs in the test region has been forecasted with a regression *** adequacy of the combined charging-discharging and location scheduling model is tested on a typical PV-enhanced 28-bus Indian distribution *** case studies containing three sub-cases in each have been performed incorporating the choice of the EV owners towards charging and discharging in different time slots in a *** case studies have resulted in a peak-to-average ratio(PAR)of 1.151,0,1.165,0,1.196,8,1.165,0,1.180,9,1.196,8,1.196,8,1.196,8 and 1.196,8 for the 24.h demand pattern in Case-1a,Case-1b,Case-1c,Case-2a,Case-2b,Case-2c,Case-3a,Case-3b and Case-1c respectively in comparison to a PAR of 1.2 for the 24.h demand in base case.

Flexible sensors have been developed for the perception of various stimuli. However, complex deformation,usually resulting from forces or strains from multi-axes, can be challenging to measure due to the lack of independent perception of multiaxial stimuli. Herein, flexible sensors based on the metamaterial membrane with zero Poisson's ratio(ZPR) are proposed to achieve independent detection of biaxial stimuli. By deliberately designing the geometric dimensions and arrangement parameters of elements, the Poisson's ratio of an elastomer membrane can be modulated from negative to positive, and the ZPR membrane can maintain a constant transverse dimension under longitudinal stimuli. Due to the accurate monitoring of grasping force by ZPR sensors that are insensitive to curvatures of contact surfaces, rigid robotic manipulators can be guided to safely grasp deformable objects. Meanwhile, the ZPR sensor can also precisely distinguish different states of manipulators. When ZPR sensors are attached to a thermal-actuation soft robot, they can accurately detect the moving distance and direction. This work presents a new strategy for independent biaxial stimuli perception through the design of mechanical metamaterials, and may inspire the future development of advanced flexible sensors for healthcare, human–machine interfaces and robotic tactile sensing.

This paper is concerned with a linear-quadratic stochastic Stackelberg differential game, where players have asymmetric roles, with one leader and one follower in the context of two-person game. It is required that the information available to the follower is a sub-σ-algebra of the one of the leader. By maximum principle and optimal filtering, a feedback Stackelberg equilibrium of the game is given. A special example is used to elaborate the result.

AIM:To study the effect of mitomycin C(MMC)applied during transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy(TPRK)on the corneal endothelium one week(W1)and three months(M3)after surgery and its ***:In this two-armed cohort study conducted in 2022,eyes treated with MMC during TPRK(group 1)were compared with eyes not treated with MMC(group 2).The corneal endothelial cell(EC)count,EC density(ECD;cells/mm2),average(μm2),standard deviation(μm2),coefficient of variation(CV%),ECmax,ECmin,and EC percentage of hexagonality were estimated at W1 and *** postoperative changes in the EC count in the two groups were compared and correlated with the other independent ***:Group 1 had 26 eyes,and group 2 had 78 *** TPRK indices were significantly higher for the eyes in group 1 than for those in group *** MMC usage was not a significant predictor of the change in ECD(P=0.64.),change in CV(P=0.374.,and change in the percentage of hexagonality of EC(P=0.164.at ***,the use of MMC was a significant predictor of changes in CV(P=0.014.and the change in the percentage of hexagonality of EC(P=0.039)at *** duration of laser exposure and the size of the optical zone influenced the correlation of MMC use with the changes in EC indices,***:The use of MMC doesn’t affect ECD,CV,and percentage of hexagonality at W1 if other surgical indices are *** M3 after operating myopic eyes by TPRK,MMC significantly influence the CV and percentage of *** duration of the laser application and the size of the optical zone should be considered when determining the effect of MMC on the EC indices.
