Raceway pond cultivation of a new Arthrospira ***-S1 in digested piggery wastewater treated by MBR and ozonation

A new Arthrospira strain named Arthrospira ***-S1 was isolated from a local digested piggery wastewater(DPW)storage pool in Jiaxing City,Zhejiang Province,*** possessed good stain resistance against contaminants in DPW,which was pretreated with a membrane bioreactor(MBR).The strain was identified as Arthrospira platensis(***)based on its morphological characteristics and the 16S rDNA sequencing *** effect of chrominance on growth of *** ZJWST-S1 was investigated in a field raceway pond filled with MBR effluent or MBR effluent decolorized with *** ozonation,the chrominance of MBR effluent was decreased from 700 mg Pt/L to 150 mg Pt/*** runs of cultivation showed that *** ZJWST-S1 grew faster in the ozone decolorized MBR effluent,the averaged biomass concentration being 0.907 g/L after 10 days of cultivation,close to that in a Zarrouk medium(0.969 g/L).By comparison,the biomass grew much slower in the non-decolorized MBR effluent(0.624 g/L).The pollutant removal was also benefited from the accelerative growth of *** ZJWST-S1 in the decolorized MBR *** all ammonium,61.2%of nitrate and 68.1%of phosphate were removed by the *** ZJWST-S1 in the decolorized MBR effluent,much higher than the corresponding values of almost all ammonium,25.4%of nitrate and 3..5%of phosphate in the MBR ***,the Arthrospira biomass harvested from the ozone decolorized MBR effluent after 10 d cultivation was with crude protein content of 59.1%±3.5%in dry algae *** content of Pb,As,Cd and Hg in biomass was also low enough to meet the Chinese Arthrospira Standard for Animal Feed(GB/T 17243.1998).This study showed that the new strain *** ZJWST-S1 possessed potential to be used for producing animal feed and simultaneous removal of nitrogen and phosphorus in DPW.

Improving Wildfire Probability Modeling by Integrating Dynamic-Step Weather Variables over Northwestern Sichuan,China

Wildfire occurrence is attributed to the interaction of multiple factors including weather,fuel,topography,and human *** them,weather variables,particularly the temporal characteristics of weather variables in a given period,are paramount in predicting the probability of wildfire ***,rainfall has a large influence on the temporal characteristics of weather variables if they are derived from a fixed period,introducing additional uncertainties in wildfire probability *** solve the problem,this study employed the weather variables in continuous nonprecipitation days as the"dynamic-step"weather variables with which to improve wildfire probability *** data on weather,fuel,topography,infrastructure,and derived variables were used to model wildfire probability based on two machine learning methods—random forest(RF)and extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost).The results indicate that the accuracy of the wildfire probability models was improved by adding dynamic-step weather variables into the *** variable importance analysis also verified the top contribution of these dynamic-step weather variables,indicating the effectiveness of the consideration of dynamic-step weather variables in wildfire probability modeling.

Revealing the anaerobic acclimation of microbial community in a membrane bioreactor for coking wastewater treatment by Illumina Miseq sequencing

The dynamic change of microbial community during sludge acclimation from aerobic to anaerobic in a MBR for coking wastewater treatment was revealed by Illumina Miseq sequencing in this study. The diversity of both Bacteria and Archaea showed an increase–decrease trajectory during acclimation, and exhibited the highest at the domestication interim. Ignavibacteria changed from a tiny minority（less than 1%） to the dominant bacterial group（54.0%） along with acclimation. The relative abundance of Betaproteobacteria kept relatively steady, as in this class some species increased coupled with some other species decreased during acclimation. The dominant Archaea shifted from Halobacteria in initial aerobic sludge to Methanobacteria in the acclimated anaerobic sludge. The dominant bacterial and archaeal groups in different acclimation stages were indigenous microorganisms in the initial sludge, though some of them were very rare. This study supported that the species in＂rare biosphere＂ might eventually become dominant in response to environmental change.

An evaluation method of contribution rate based on fuzzy Bayesian networks for equipment system-of-systems architecture

The contribution rate of equipment system-of-systems architecture(ESoSA)is an important index to evaluate the equipment update,development,and architecture *** the traditional ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method does not make full use of the fuzzy information and uncertain information in the equipment system-of-systems(ESoS),and the Bayesian network is an effective tool to solve the uncertain information,a new ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method based on the fuzzy Bayesian network(FBN)is ***,based on the operation loop theory,an ESoSA is constructed considering three aspects:reconnaissance equipment,decision equipment,and strike ***,the fuzzy set theory is introduced to construct the FBN of ESoSA to deal with fuzzy information and uncertain ***,the fuzzy importance index of the root node of the FBN is used to calculate the contribution rate of the ESoSA,and the ESoSA contribution rate evaluation model based on the root node fuzzy importance is ***,the feasibility and rationality of this method are validated via an empirical case study of aviation *** with traditional methods,the evaluation method based on FBN takes various failure states of equipment into consideration,is free of acquiring accurate probability of traditional equipment failure,and models the uncertainty of the relationship between *** proposed method not only supplements and improves the ESoSA contribution rate assessment method,but also broadens the application scope of the Bayesian network.

Multi-Sinusoidal Waveform Shaping for Integrated Data and Energy Transfer in Aging Channels

Integrated data and energy transfer(IDET)is capable of simultaneously delivering on-demand data and energy to low-power Internet of Everything(Io E)*** propose a multi-carrier IDET transceiver relying on superposition waveforms consisting of multi-sinusoidal signals for wireless energy transfer(WET)and orthogonal-frequency-divisionmultiplexing(OFDM)signals for wireless data transfer(WDT).The outdated channel state information(CSI)in aging channels is employed by the transmitter to shape IDET *** the constraints of transmission power and WDT requirement,the amplitudes and phases of the IDET waveform at the transmitter and the power splitter at the receiver are jointly optimised for maximising the average directcurrent(DC)among a limited number of transmission frames with the existence of carrier-frequencyoffset(CFO).For the amplitude optimisation,the original non-convex problem can be transformed into a reversed geometric programming problem,then it can be effectively solved with existing *** for the phase optimisation,the artificial bee colony(ABC)algorithm is invoked in order to deal with the *** between the amplitude optimisation and phase optimisation yields our joint *** results demonstrate the advantage of our joint design for the IDET waveform shaping with the existence of the CFO and the outdated CSI.

Multi-scale object detection is a research hotspot,and it has critical applications in many secure *** the object detection algorithms have constantly been progressing recently,how to perform highly accurate and reliable multi-class object detection is still a challenging task due to the influence of many factors,such as the deformation and occlusion of the object in the actual *** more interference factors,the more complicated the semantic information,so we need a deeper network to extract deep ***,deep neural networks often suffer from network *** prevent the occurrence of degradation on deep neural networks,we put forth a new model using a newly-designed Pre-ReLU,which inserts a ReLU layer before the convolution layer for the sake of preventing network degradation and ensuring the performance of deep *** structure can transfer the semantic information more smoothly from the shallow to the deep ***,the deep networks will encounter not only degradation,but also a decline in ***,to speed up the two-stage detector,we divide the feature map into many groups so as to diminish the number of ***,calculation speed has been enhanced,achieving a balance between speed and *** mathematical demonstration,a Balanced Loss(BL)is proposed by a balance factor to decrease the weight of the negative sample during the training phase to balance the positives and ***,our detector demonstrates rosy results in a range of experiments and gains an mAP of 73.3. on PASCAL VOC2007,which approaches the requirement of many security systems.

An Unambiguity and Anti-Range Eclipse Method for PD Radar Using Biphase Coded Signals

Target detection is an important research content in the radar *** present,efforts are being made to optimize the precision of detection *** this paper,we use the high pulse repetition frequency(HPRF)transmission method and orthogonal biphase coded signals in each pulse to avoid velocity ambiguity and range ambiguity of radar *** addition,We also apply Walsh matrix and genetic algorithm(GA)to generate satisfying orthogonal biphase coded signals with low auto-correlation sidelobe peak and cross-correlation peak,which make the results more *** a radar receiver,data rearrangement of echo signals is performed,and then pulse compression and moving target detection(MTD)are utilized to get the final velocity and range information of a target without velocity ambiguity and range ***,a small transmitting pulse time width is adopted to reduce the working blind area,and two different high pulse repetition frequencies(HPRFs)are adopted to solve the problem of range *** results finally prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
