Many rubber friction theories or some method combined theories and field-experiments are employed to evaluate the pavement skid-resistance deterioration due to the evolution of surface ***,these methods are difficult to be implemented in the analysis of situations with multi-factor coupling and some extreme *** study developed a framework to evaluate the skid-resistance deterioration of asphalt *** this framework,the portable laser scanning was used to create the digital worn pavement model,and a hydroplaning finite element(FE)model for these digital worn pavements was constructed to evaluate coupling effects of the texture evolution and factors of slip ratio,slip angle,velocity and water film on braking-cornering characteristics of *** this study,the deterioration of skid-resistance of five typical asphalt pavements due the surface texture wear was systematically investigated by this *** with previous works,this study established the rubber friction models for each digital worn pavement considering the energy hysteresis of rubber and the power spectrum density of surface *** the rubber friction model was used to define the interaction behaviors between the tire and corresponding wore pavements in the FE hydroplaning model,rather than using an empirical friction model or a fixed friction coefficient.

Electrical control of magnetism in van der Waals semiconductors is a promising step towards development of two-dimensional spintronic devices with ultralow power consumption for processing and storing ***, we propose a design for two-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs) that can host ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism simultaneously under hole doping. By contacting an In Se monolayer and forming an InSe/In_(2)Se_(3. vd WH, the switchable built-in electric field from the reversible out-of-plane polarization enables robust control of the band alignment. Furthermore, switching between the two ferroelectric states(P_↑ and P_↓)of hole-doped In_(2)Se_(3. with an external electric field can interchange the ON and OFF states of the nonvolatile magnetism. More interestingly, doping concentration and strain can effectively tune the magnetic moment and polarization energy. Therefore, this provides a platform for realizing multiferroics in ferroelectric heterostructures,showing great potential for use in nonvolatile memories and ferroelectric field-effect transistors.

A novel alkalizing strain Enterobacter ***-2 that could resist 400 mg/L Cd was isolated from Cd-contaminated soil,which immobilized 96.05%Cd^(2+)from *** distribution analysis demonstrated that more than half of the Cd^(2+)was converted into extracellular precipitated Cd through mobilization of the alkali-producing mechanism by the strain LYX-2,achieving the high immobilization efficiency of Cd^(2+).Biosorption experiments revealed that strain LYX-2 had superior biosorption capacity of 48.28 mg/g for *** experiments with Brassica rapa *** performed with and without strain *** to control,15.92%bioavailable Cd was converted to non-bioavailable Cd and Cd content in aboveground vegetables was decreased by 3..10%with addition of strain *** Cd was mainly immobilized through extracellular precipitation,cell-surface biosorption and intracellular accumulation of strain LYX-2,which was investigated through Cd distribution,Scanning Electron Microscope and Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS)and Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM)*** addition,the application of strain LYX-2 significantly promoted the growth of vegetables about *** results indicated that highly Cd-resistant alkalizing strain LYX-2,as a novel microbial passivator,had excellent ability and reuse value to achieve the remediation of Cd-contaminated soil coupled with safe production of vegetables simultaneously.

Trypsin,a novel superoxide scavenger,significantly enhances the storage quality of Hylocereus undatus(***).To elucidate the preservation mechanism of trypsin on ***,a widely targeted metabolomic analysis,and transcriptomics analysis were ***,a total of 453.metabolites were identified,with organic acids and their derivatives constituting the largest proportion(25%).Amino acids and their metabolites,prominent among organic acids,were further *** them,73.metabolites were associated with amino acids,and 3. exhibited significant *** most enriched Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway was arginine biosynthesis(map00220),with polyamine metabolites showing the most pronounced differences,particularly spermine(FC=1.7594).Compared with the control group,4-hydroxy-2-oxoglutaric acid was significantly upregulated(FC=2.117)in the process of spermine ***,the results of Gene Ontology(GO)and KEGG enrichment analysis of the *** transcriptome profile revealed that trypsin treatment led to 187 differentially expressed genes associated with *** GO and KEGG analyses exhibited significant enrichment in the spermine biosynthetic process(GO:0006597)(map:00220)within the arginine biosynthesis ***,most enzymes and metabolites within the spermine biosynthesis pathway in *** were *** results of the PPI network highlighted that ADC,SPDS,and SAMDC,among others,were pivotal proteins involved in trypsin-regulated arginine metabolism and spermine *** study revealed that trypsin could significantly delay postharvest senescence of *** at room *** effect might be attributed to trypsin triggering the synthesis of 4-hydroxy-2-oxoglutaric acid in the fruit peel,thereby promoting the biosynthesis of spermine and other polyamines.

Salt stress inhibits plant growth and affects the biosynthesis of its secondary *** are natural compounds that possess many important biological activities,playing a significant role in the medicinal activity of Eucommia ulmoides(***).To investigate the mechanism by which salt stress affects the biosynthesis of flavonoids in ***,a comprehensive analysis of metabolomics and transcriptomics was *** results indicated that salt stress led to the wilting and darkening of *** leaves,accompanied by a decrease in chlorophyll levels,and significantly induced malondialdehyde(MDA)and relative electrical *** salt stress,most metabolites in the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway of *** were upregulated,indicating that flavonoid biosynthesis is likely the main induced pathway under salt *** them,secondary metabolites such as 6-Hydroxyluteolin and Quercetin are likely key metabolites induced by salt *** correlation analysis of transcriptomics and metabolomics revealed that EuSHT is a hub gene induced by salt stress,promoting the production of flavonoids such as *** co-expression network showed a strong positive correlation between EuSHT and the biosynthesis of 6-Hydroxyluteolin and Quercetin,while it exhibited a negative correlation with Catechin *** branches leading to Luteolin and Dihydroquercetin are likely the main pathways for flavonoid compound biosynthesis in the plant stress response during salt *** results of this study provided a preliminary mechanism of secondary metabolites such as flavonoids in the medicinal plant *** induced by salt stress and provided new theoretical support for discussing the mechanism of plant stress *** also provided useful information for subsequent exploration of resistance genes in ***.

Experimental demonstration of a photonic spiking neuron based on a DFB laser subject to side-mode optical pulse injection

We proposed and experimentally demonstrated a simple and novel photonic spiking neuron based on a distributed feedback(DFB) laser subject to side-mode optical pulse injection(SMOPI). The DFB laser chip is designed and fabricated based on asymmetric equivalent π phase shift(π-EPS) with the reconstruction-equivalent-chirp(REC) technique. Under side-mode continuous-wave(CW) optical injection,excitability pulse was experimentally observed during the dominant mode switching process due to the injection-locked effect. Based on the transition between the excitability regime and the side-mode injection locking effect, the controllable and repeatable neuron-like spiking response can be realized when external stimulus pulses are electro-optically modulated on the CW optical carrier. The experimental results show that the spike threshold, temporal integration, and refractory period, which are important spike processing mechanisms in biological neurons, can all be achieved in the optically-injected DFB laser. The experimental findings are also verified numerically with a rate equation model that considers the SMOPI. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first experimental demonstration of a photonic spiking neuron based on a DFB laser subject to SMOPI, which holds promise for realizing large-scale photonic spiking neuron arrays for hardware photonic spiking neural network chips.

Aiming at the assessment of road structural conditions， a method of combining ground penetrating radar (GPR) and falling weight deflectometer (FWD) for assessing the pavement structural integrity and strength was proposed in this study. First， 3. GPR was performed to detect the thickness and internal distress of pavement structural layers using the canny edge detection and you only look once version eight (YOLOv8) detection algorithms. Results showed that the error of thickness extraction was approximately 3.， and the distress detection achieved a mean average precision (mAP) of 0.859 and an inference time of 11.43.ms with a GTX 1070 GPU. Then， the extracted thickness was used for the modulus (E) inversion of pavement structure layers based on FWD test data and regression analysis. Finally， the distress ratio inside pavement structures (DRIPS) was proposed as a structural integrity index. The relationship between E and DRIPS was revealed and showed a good correlation. The greater the DRIPS value， the worse the pavement structural integrity and strength. It provides a reference for the evaluation of road structural conditions. This strategy proved to be reliable for nondestructive testing and evaluation of road structures， which could improve the comprehensiveness and effectiveness for evaluating road structural conditions.
