Constructing on-demand single/multi-color transitioning fabrics with photocatalysis/photothermal-armed deficient semiconductors

On-demand color switching systems that utilize synchronized semiconductor-catalyzed reduction and photothermal-accelerated oxidation in liquid/solid are highly ***,on-demand single/multi-color switching fabrics have been constructed by using defective SnO_(2):Sb-based color switching ***_(2):Sb nanocrystals with the suitable doping concentration accord lattices with abundant free electrons,conferring high photocatalytic and photothermal performances.A well-crafted set of dual light-responsive semiconductor-catalyzed systems with rapid color change can be attained via the homogenous mixture of SnO_(2):Sb with suitable redox dyes to produce single-color(RGB(red,green,blue))and multi-color transitioning(purple and green)*** illumination of these systems by 450 nm light triggers rapid photocatalytic discoloration,while irradiation by 980 nm light confers the photothermal effect that accelerates recoloration in ***,the inks can be extended to rewritable fabrics by embedding the nanocrystals and redox dyes into hydroxyethyl cellulose(as the polymer matrix)and then coating on hydrophobic cotton fabrics to produce photo-switchable fabrics with excellent single/multi-color *** exploiting the dual light interactions with the semiconductor-mediated systems,various images/letters can be remotely printed and erased on the rewritable fabrics which show promise for potential applications as information storage media and visual ***,the present rewritable fabric shows good stability and *** present work provides insights into the development of novel color-switching materials.

Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)batteries,a promising energy storage technology,not only provide ultrahigh discharge capacity but also capture CO_(2)and turn it into renewable *** electrochemical reaction pathways'ambiguity,however,creates a hurdle for their practical *** study used copper selenide(CuSe)nanosheets as the air cathode medium in an environmental transmission electron microscope to in situ study Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)(mix CO_(2)as well as O_(2)at a volume ratio of 1:1)and Li–O_(2)batteries as well as Li–CO_(2)*** discharge reactions take place successively in the Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)–CuSe nanobattery:(I)4Li^(+)+O_(2)+4e^(−)→2Li_(2)O;(II)Li_(2)O+CO_(2)→Li_(2)CO_(3..The charge reaction proceeded via(III)2Li_(2)CO_(3.→4Li^(+)+2CO_(2)+O_(2)+4e^(−).However,Li–O_(2)and Li–CO_(2)nanobatteries showed poor cycling stability,suggesting the difficulty in the direct decomposition of the discharge *** fluctuations of the Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)battery's electrochemistry were also shown to depend heavily on O_(2).The CuSe‐based Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)battery showed exceptional electrochemical *** Li^–CO_(2)/O_(2)battery offered a discharge capacity apex of 15,492 mAh g^(−1) and stable cycling 60 times at 100 mA g^(−1).Our research offers crucial insight into the electrochemical behavior of Li–CO_(2)/O_(2),Li–O_(2),and Li–CO_(2)nanobatteries,which may help the creation of high‐performance Li–CO_(2)/O_(2)batteries for energy storage applications.

By using 6,6-((sulfonylbis(4,1-phenylene)bis(azanediyl))bis(thiophen-2-ylm-ethylene))bis6H-di-benzo[c,e][1,2]oxaphosphinine 6-oxide(DOPO-N)as phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant,the polyurea(PUA)with flame retardant properties(PUA/DOPO-N)was *** addition,organically modified montmorillonite(OMMT)and magnesium hydroxide(MH)were used as co-effectors respectively,and the flame retardant PUA(PUA/DOPO-N/OMMT and PUA/DOPO-N/MH)were also *** properties,flame retardant properties,flame retardant mechanism and mechanical properties of PUA/DOPO-N,PUA/DOPO-N/OMMT and PUA/DOPO-N/MH were investigated by thermogravimetric(TG)analysis,limiting oxygen index(LOI),UL 94,cone calorimeter test,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and tensile *** results show that the LOI value of PUA/20%DOPO-N,PUA/18%DOPO-N/2%OMMT and PUA/15%DOPO-N/5%MH are 27.1%,27.7%,and 28.3.,respectively,and UL 94 V-0 rating is *** with PUA,the peak heat release rate(pk-HRR),total heat release(THR)and average effective heat combustion(av-EHC)of PUA/20%DOPO-N,PUA/18%DOPO-N/2%OMMT and PUA/15%DOPO-N/5%MH decrease *** results indicate that the residual chars of PUA/20%DOPO-N,PUA/18%DOPO-N/2%OMMT and PUA/15%DOPO-N/5%MH are completer and more *** complex of DOPO-N/OMMT and DOPO-N/MH have synergistic flame *** mechanical properties of PUA can be improved by the addition of DOPO-N,DOPO-N/OMMT and DOPO-N/MH,*** insulation performance test shows that the volume resistivity of PUA/20%DOPO-N is 6.25×10^(16)Ω.***,by using modified boron nitride(MBN)as heat dissipating material,the complex of PUA/MBN was prepared,and the thermal conductivity of PUA/MBN was *** thermal conductivity of PUA/8%MBN complex coating at room temperature is 0.166 W/(M·K),which is a 163.improvement over pure PUA.

The self-powered tissue engineering scaffold with good biocompatibility is of great significance for stimulating nerve cell *** this study,silk fibroin(SF)-based fibers with regulatable structure and piezoelectric performance are fabricated by dry-spinning and *** concentration of SF and calcium ion in spinning dope and the post-treatment affect the conformation transition and crystallinity of *** a result,the SF fibers exhibit high piezoelectric coefficient d_(3.)(3.24 pm/V)and output voltage(~27 V).Furthermore,these piezoelectric fibers promote the growth of PC-12 cells,demonstrating the promising potential for nerve repair and other energy harvester.

Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion ***,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its *** improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated ***,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical ***,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO *** effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn *** Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1000 cycles(3.0.4 mAh·g^(−1)) at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).The high-load Na_(3.V_(2)(PO4)3.|Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 150 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1).This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

Polyimides are a family of high-tech plastics that have irreplaceable applications in the fields of aerospace,defense,and opto-electronics,but polyimides are difficult to be reprocessed and recycled at the end of their service life,resulting in a significant waste of ***,it is of great significance to develop recyclable polyimides with comparable properties to the commercial ***,we report a novel polymer-to-monomers chemically recyclable poly(imide-imine)(PtM-CR-PII)plastic,synthesized by cross-linking the amine-terminated aromatic bisimide monomer and the hexa-vanillin terminated cyclophosphazene monomer via dynamic imine *** PtM-CR-PII plastic exhibits comparable mechanical and thermal properties as well as chemical stability to the commercial *** PtM-CR-PII plastic possesses a high Young’s modulus of≈3.2 GPa and a tensile strength as high as≈108 MPa,which also exhibits high thermal stability with a glass transition temperature of≈220℃.Moreover,the PtM-CR-PII plastic exhibits outstanding waterproofness,acid/alkali-resistance,and solvent-resistance,its appearance and mechanical properties can be well maintained after long-term soaking in water,highly concentrated acid and base,and various organic ***,the cyclophosphazene moieties endow the PtM-CR-PII plastic with excellent flame *** PtM-CR-PII plastic exhibits the highest UL-94 flame-retarding rating of V-0 and a limiting oxygen index(LOI)value of 45.5%.Importantly,the PtM-CR-PII plastic can be depolymerized in an organic solvents-acid mixture medium at room temperature,allowing easy separation and recovery of both monomers in high *** recovered pure monomers can be used to regenerate new PtM-CR-PII plastics,enabling sustainable polymer-monomers-polymer circulation.

N-doping has significant influence in manipulating the properties of TiO_(2),and this has stimulated the development of N-donor-functionalized titanium-oxo clusters(TOCs)as molecular models to study the structure-property ***,the structural type and photoresponsive application are still limited for such TOCs,especially regarding the high-nuclearity TOCs that contain structure unit of TiO_(2)for ***,we showed the synthesis of a series of high-nuclearity TOCs 1-3.compounds usingπ-conjugated 1,10-phenanthroline(phen)as chromophore and N-donor functional *** 1 features cocrystal structure composed of one[Ti_(26)]~(2+)and half[Ti_(22)]~(2+),which renders it as the first cocrystallized TOC containing two positively charged species and phen-functionalized TOC showing the highest nuclearity up to 3. Ti *** adjusting the synthetic conditions,the individual{Ti_(22)}and{Ti_(26)}clusters can also be isolated as Compounds 2 and 3.*** core structure of{Ti_(22)}is mainly constructed from four lacunary{Ti_(4)}derived from pentagonal{Ti(Ti)_5}unit,while{Ti_(26)}is built from four complete{Ti(Ti)_5}***,a{Ti_8O_(14)}structure unit of anatase TiO_(2)can be identified in{Ti_(26)}.Based on the unique structural features and proper photophysical and photochemical properties of Compounds 1-3.they are applied for photocatalytic *** to the presence of anatase structure unit in{Ti_(26)}and the synergistic effect from{Ti_(22)}and{Ti_(26)},the catalytic performance presents in the order of Compound 1>Compound 3.Compound *** work provides excellent models to understand the structureproperty relationship from the perspective of cocrystallization and Ti-O binding model and will further promote the application of TOCs as functional catalysts for organic transformation.

The heteroatom doping strategies have been utilized to effectively improve the performance of the carbon-based hosts,such as graphene,for lithium(Li)metal in high energy density lithium metal ***,solely doped graphene hosts often need the assistance of other materials with either better lithiophilicity or electronic conductance to achieve smooth and efficient deposition of Li,which adds extra weight or ***,graphene co-doped by nitrogen and fluorine(NFG)is employed as a stable host for Li,where the N-doping provides lithiophilicity and electronic conductivity lacked by F-doping and the F-doping facilitates fast formation of solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)retarded by *** well regulation of Li plating/stripping and SEI formation is verified by quickly stabilized and small-magnitude voltage hysteresis,which stands out in Li hosts based on doped graphene and leads to excellent long-term cycling performance of NFG based electrodes.A voltage hysteresis of 20 mV is observed for more than 850 h in the symmetrical *** remarkable efficiency of lithium usage is confirmed by the highcapacity retention of a full cell paired with LiFePO_(4)(LFP),which exceeds 70%after 500 *** work presents an innovative perspective on the control of Li plating/stripping by simultaneously introducing two kinds of dopants into graphene and paving the way for exploring practical Li metal batteries.

Li metal batteries(LMBs)offer signifi-cant potential as high energy density alternatives;nev-ertheless,their performance is hindered by the slow desolvation process of electrolytes,particularly at low temperatures(LT),leading to low coulombic efficiency and limited cycle ***,it is essential to opti-mize the solvation structure thereby achieving a rapid desolvation process in LMBs at ***,we introduce branch chain-rich diisopropyl ether(DIPE)into a 2.5 M Li bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide dipropyl ether(DPE)elec-trolyte as a co-solvent for high-performance LMBs at-20℃.The incorporation of DIPE not only enhances the disorder within the electrolyte,but also induces a steric hindrance effect form DIPE’s branch chain,excluding other solvent molecules from Li+solvation *** of these factors contribute to the weak interactions between Li^(+)and solvent molecules,effectively reducing the desolvation energy of the ***,Li(50μm)||LFP(mass loading~10 mg cm^(-2))cells in DPE/DIPE based electrolyte demonstrate stable performance over 650 cycles at-20℃,delivering 87.2 mAh g^(-1),and over 255 cycles at 25℃ with 124.8 mAh g^(-1).DIPE broadens the electrolyte design from molecular structure considera-tions,offering a promising avenue for highly stable LMBs at LT.
