Dynamic response of water-rich tunnel subjected to plane P wave considering excavation induced damage zone

The stability analysis of a deep buried tunnel subjected to dynamic disturbance is an important *** this study,the transient response has been obtained by establishing a water-rich tunnel model considering excavation damage zone(EDZ).Based on Biot’s two-phase dynamic theory and wave function expansion method,the analytical solution of dynamic response around the water-rich tunnel containing EDZ subjected to P wave is ***,Fourier transform and Duhamel’s integral technique is introduced to calculate the transient response,and the equivalent blasting curve is adopted to input excitation *** dimensionless parameters thickness N and shear modulus ratio lare defined to characterize the degree of damage in the surrounding rock,investigating the influencing factors,such as the parameters and the incident source *** results indicate that the dynamic stress concentration factor(DSCF)gradually decreases as the dimensionless parameters ***,it is observed that the DSCF is more sensitive to changes in the thickness parameter ***,the influence of the waveform parameters has been taken into account in the analysis of transient response,and the stress state and transfer process in each time stage of the EDZ are *** study establishes a theoretical foundation for comprehending the mechanical behavior and support design considerations associated with a deep-buried water-rich tunnel containing EDZ.

Preparation of bifunctional electrocatalyst by recycling heavy metal ions from wastewater using EDTAD-functionalized MOF as highly efficient adsorbent

The recovery and subsequent reuse of heavy metal ions from industrial wastewater are crucial for promoting sustainable development,but they also presen significant *** this article,ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride （EDTAD）,which possesses strong metal chelating ability,is covalently attached to MIL-101-NH2（Fe）,resulting in a significant improvement in the removal rate of heavy metal ions in ***,the recovered waste metal ions are transformed into high-performance FeNi3.NiFe2O4@NC dual-functional oxygen evolution reaction （OER） and oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） ***,FeNi3.NiFe2O4@NC exhibits outstanding OER performance,with only a264 mV overpotential at 10 mA·*** functiona theory （DFT） calculations reveal that the synergistic effect of the FeNi3.NiFe2O4@NC heterostructure can enhance conductivity,optimize the free energy of*to OH*during OER reaction,and promote catalytic *** work not only improves the removal rate of heavy metal ions but also obtains high-performance catalysts,while providing a new approach for the treatment and secondary utilization of heavy metal ion wastewater as well as the preparation of low-cost catalysts.

Self-templating synthesis of biomass-based porous carbon nanotubes for energy storage and catalytic degradation applications

Dwindling energy sources and a worsening environment are huge global problems,and biomass wastes are an under-exploited source of material for both energy and material ***,self-template decoction dregs of Ganoderma lucidum-derived porous carbon nanotubes(ST-DDLGCs)were synthesized via a facile and scalable strategy in response to these ***-DDLGCs exhibited a large surface area(173..51 m^(2)g^(-1))and high pore volume(0.76 cm^(3.g^(-1)),due to the interlacing tubular structures of precursors and extra-hierarchical porous structures on tube *** the ST-DDLGC/PMS system,the degradation efficiency of capecitabine(CAP)reached~97.3.within 120 ***,ST-DDLGCs displayed high catalytic activity over a wide pH range of 3.9,and strong anti-interference to these typical and ubiquitous anions in wastewater and natural water bodies(i.e.,H_(2)PO_(4)^(-),NO_(3.^(-),Cl^(-) and HCO_(3.^(-)),in which a ^(1)O_(2)-dominated oxidation was identified and non-radical mechanisms were ***,ST-DDLGC-based coin-type symmetrical supercapacitors exhibited outstanding electrochemical performance,with specific capacitances of up to 3.8.1 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1),and cycling stability of up to 98.6%after 10,000 cycles at a current density of 2 A g^(-1).The superior properties of ST-DDLGCs could be attributed to the unique porous tubular structure,which facilitated mass transfer and presented numerous active *** results highlight ST-DDLGCs as a potential candidate for constructing inexpensive and advanced environmentally functional materials and energy storage devices.

Distributed fiber optic sensors(DFOSs)possess the capability to measure strain and temperature variations over long distances,demonstrating outstanding potential for monitoring underground *** study presents a state-of-the-art review of the DFOS applications for monitoring and assessing the deformation behavior of typical tunnel infrastructure,including bored tunnels,conventional tunnels,as well as immersed and cut-and-cover *** systems based on Brillouin and Rayleigh scattering principles are both *** implementing DFOS monitoring,the fiber optic cable can be primarily installed along transverse and longitudinal directions to(1)measure distributed strains by continuously adhering the fiber to the structure’s surface or embedding it in the lining,or(2)measure point displacements by spot-anchoring it on the lining *** are four critical aspects of DFOS monitoring,including proper selection of the sensing fiber,selection of the measuring principle for the specific application,design of an effective sensor layout,and establishment of robust field sensor *** four issues are comprehensively discussed,and practical suggestions are provided for the implementation of DFOS in tunnel infrastructure monitoring.

Application of Optical Hydrogels in environmental Sensing

The ever-increasing complexity of environmental pollutants urgently warrants the development of new detection *** based on the optical properties of hydrogels enabling fast and easy in situ detection are attracting increasing *** this paper,the data from 13. papers about different optical hydrogels(OHs)are extracted for statistical *** detection performance and potential of various types of OHs in different environmental pollutant detection scenarios were evaluated and compared to those obtained using the standard detection *** on this analysis,the target recognition and sensing mechanisms of two main types of OHs are reviewed and discussed:photonic crystal hydrogels(PCHs)and fluorescent hydrogels(FHs).For PCHs,the environmental stimulus response,target receptors,inverse opal structures,and molecular imprinting techniques related to PCHs are reviewed and ***,the different types of fluorophores(i.e.,compound probes,biomacromolecules,quantum dots,and luminescent microbes)of FHs are ***,the potential academic research directions to address the challenges of applying and developing OHs in environmental sensing are proposed,including the fusion of various OHs,introduction of the latest technologies in various fields to the construction of OHs,and development of multifunctional sensor arrays.

Geochemistry and origins of hydrogen-containing natural gases in deep Songliao Basin,China:Insights from continental scientific drilling

The different reservoirs in deep Songliao Basin have non-homogeneous lithologies and include multiple layers with a high content of hydrogen *** gas composition and stable isotope characteristics vary significantly,but the origin analysis of different gas types has previously been *** on the geochemical parameters of gas samples from different depths and the analysis of geological settings,this research covers the diverse origins of natural gas in different *** gas components are mainly methane with a small amount of C_(2+),and non-hydrocarbon gases,including nitrogen(N_(2)),hydrogen(H_(2)),carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),and helium(He).At greater depth,the carbon isotope of methane becomes heavier,and the hydrogen isotope points to a lacustrine sedimentary *** increasing depth,the origins of N_(2)and CO_(2)change gradually from a mixture of organic and inorganic to *** origins of hydrogen gas are complex and include organic sources,water radiolysis,water-rock(Fe^(2+)-containing minerals)reactions,and *** shales of Denglouku and Shahezi Formations,as source rocks,provide the premise for generation and occurrence of organic ***,the deep faults and fluid activities in Basement Formation control the generation and migration of mantle-derived *** discovery of a high content of H_(2)in study area not only reveals the organic and inorganic association of natural-gas generation,but also provides a scientific basis for the exploration of deep hydrogen-rich gas.

Adaptation analysis and fusion correction method of CMIP6 precipitation simulation data on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau

In order to obtain more accurate precipitation data and better simulate the precipitation on the Tibetan Plateau,the simulation capability of 14 Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)models of historical precipitation(1982-2014)on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau was evaluated in this *** indicate that all models exhibit an overestimation of precipitation through the analysis of the Taylor index,temporal and spatial statistical *** correct the overestimation,a fusion correction method combining the Backpropagation Neural Network Correction(BP)and Quantum Mapping(QM)correction,named BQ method,was *** this method,the historical precipitation of each model was corrected in space and time,*** correction results were then analyzed in time,space,and analysis of variance(ANOVA)with those corrected by the BP and QM methods,***,the fusion correction method results for each model were compared with the Climatic Research Unit(CRU)data for significance analysis to obtain the trends of precipitation increase and decrease for each *** results show that the IPSL-CM6A-LR model is relatively good in simulating historical precipitation on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(R=0.7,RSME=0.15)among the uncorrected *** terms of time,the total precipitation corrected by the fusion method has the same interannual trend and the closest precipitation values to the CRU data;In terms of space,the annual average precipitation corrected by the fusion method has the smallest difference with the CRU data,and the total historical annual average precipitation is not significantly different from the CRU data,which is better than BP and ***,the correction effect of the fusion method on the historical precipitation of each model is better than that of the QM and BP *** precipitation in the central and northeastern parts of the plateau shows a significant increasing *** correlation coefficients between monthly

Preparation of a zeolite-palladium composite membrane for hydrogen separation:Influence of zeolite film on membrane stability

With the development of hydrogen energy,palladium-based membranes have been widely used in hydrogen separation and ***,the poor chemical stability of palladium composite membranes limits their commercial *** this study,a zeolite-palladium composite membrane with a sandwich-like structure was obtained by using a TS-1 zeolite film grown on the surface of palladium *** membrane microstructure was characterized by SEM and *** effects of the TS-1 film on the hydrogen permeability and stability of palladium composite membrane were investigated in *** from the protection of the TS-1 zeolite film,the stability of palladium composite membrane was *** results indicate that the TS-1-Pd composite membrane was stable after eight cycles of the temperature exchange cycles between 773.K and 623.***,the loss of hydrogen permeance for TS-1-Pd composite membrane was much smaller than that of the pure palladium membrane when the membrane was tested in the presence of *** indicated that the TS-1-Pd composite membrane had better chemical stability in comparison with pure palladium membrane,owing to its sandwich-like *** work provides an efficient way for the deposition of zeolite film on palladium membrane to enhance the membrane stability.

Photothermal material applied in environmental governance has attracted growing *** combining the Stober method and dopamine-triggered coating strategy,Co-Mn precursor was in situ incorporated into the poly dopamine(PDA)layer over the surface of silica ***,a unique photothermal nanosphere with SiO_(2)core and thin carbon layer and dual Co-Mn oxides shell was allowed to form by sequential heat treatment in the inert atmosphere(SiO_(2)@CoMn/C).The bimetallic fraction of Co/Mn in the carbon layer and post-treatment calcination temperature was comprehensively tuned to optimize the peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation performance of the *** state of bimetallic species was studied including their physical distribution,chemical valence,and interplay by various ***,Co oxides appear as dominant monodispersed nanoparticles(~10 nm),while Mn with cluster-like morphology is observed to uniformly distribute over thin-layer carbon and adhered to the surface of SiO_(2)nanospheres(~250 nm).The calcined temperature could tune the oxidized state of Co species,leading to the optimization of the catalytic performance of introduced dual metal *** a result,this obtained optimal catalyst integrated the advantages of exposed bimetallic CoMn species and N-doped thin carbon to deliver excellent catalytic PMS activation performance and photothermal synergetic catalytic mineralization ability for diversiform *** reactions condition controls and anion interference studies were conducted to identify the adaptability of the optimal ***,the application of solar-driven interfacial water evaporation using optimal SiO_(2)@Co_3.n_1/C-600 catalyst was explored,showing a high water evaporation rate of 1.48 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1)and an efficiency of 95.2%,further revealing a comprehensive governance functionality of obtained material in the complex pollution condition.

The homogenous growth of Co-based coordination compound on graphene nanosheet for high-performance K-organic battery and its reaction mechanism

Metal coordination compounds(MCCs)are gaining popularity for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)owing to their tuneable structure,multiple reaction sites,low cost and unique ***,they are generally subjected to intrinsic features of the sluggish ionic diffusion coefficient,low electronic conductivity and slow ***,a new MCC material of cobalt-1,3.5-trioxy-2,4,6-triamino-benzo(Co-TB)coordination compound was synthesized and homogenously grown on the surface of graphene nanosheets(GNS),forming a Co-TB@GNS composite with enhanced electronic conductivity and flexible *** from the overall enhanced conductivity,high surface area and abundant activated K-storage sites,Co-TB@GNS electrodes have exhibited superior cycling performance with high reversible capacities(3.2 mAh·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(-1),224 mAh·g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1))and better rate performances compared with the pure Co-TB compound when served as PIB's ***,multiple in-situ measurement techniques have jointly confirmed that the organic functional groups(C=O,C=N and C=C of benzene rings)and Co^(2+)in Co-TB are the main reversible K-storage sites,including in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X-ray diffraction(XRD),and partial capacity contribution is originated from GNS by the apparent K-storage behavior in the in-situ XRD pattern,proving the possibility of K-storage for metal-organic materials.
