Two distinct subpopulations of marginal zone B cells exhibit differential antibody-producing capacities and radioresistance

Marginal zone(MZ)B cells,which are splenic innate-like B cells that rapidly secrete antibodies(Abs)against blood-borne pathogens,are composed of heterogeneous ***,we showed that MZ B cells can be divided into two distinct subpopulations according to their CD80 expression ***80^(high)MZ B cells exhibited greater Ab-producing,proliferative,and IL-10-secreting capacities than did CD80^(low)MZ B ***,CD80^(high)MZ B cells survived 2-Gy whole-body irradiation,whereas CD80^(low)MZ B cells were depleted by irradiation and then repleted with one month after *** of CD80^(low)MZ B cells led to accelerated development of type II collagen(CII)-induced arthritis upon immunization with bovine ***80^(high)MZ B cells exhibited higher expression of genes involved in proliferation,plasma cell differentiation,and the antioxidant ***80^(high)MZ B cells expressed more autoreactive B cell receptors(BCRs)that recognized double-stranded DNA or CII,expressed more immunoglobulin heavy chain sequences with shorter complementarity-determining region 3.sequences,and included more clonotypes with no N-nucleotides or with B-1a BCR sequences than CD80^(low)MZ B *** transfer experiments showed that CD21^(+)CD23.(+)transitional 2 MZ precursors preferentially generated CD80^(low)MZ B cells and that a proportion of CD80^(low)MZ B cells were converted into CD80^(high)MZ B cells;in contrast,CD80^(high)MZ B cells stably remained CD80^(high)MZ B *** summary,MZ B cells can be divided into two subpopulations according to their CD80 expression levels,Ab-producing capacity,radioresistance,and autoreactivity,and these findings may suggest a hierarchical composition of MZ B cells with differential stability and BCR specificity.

Background:Concerns over the security of laparoscopic radical operation for gallbladder cancer(GBC)*** systematic review and meta-analysis attempted to compare the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic surgery(LS)versus open surgery(OS)in the treatment of ***:The PubMed,EMBASE,and Web of Science were searched from inception to July 18,*** search,quality assessment,and data extraction were completed independently and in ***-size estimates expressed as weighted mean difference(WMD)or odds ratio(OR)with 95%confidence interval(CI)were derived under the random-effects ***:A total of 27 independent studies including 2,868 participants were *** was noted for intraoperative blood loss(WMD:−117.194,95%CI:−170.188 to 64.201,P3.95%CI:−1.776 to−0.269,P=0.008),postoperative hospital stay(WMD:−3.555,95%CI:−4.509 to−2.601,P3.to 2.03.,P=0.004),T2 survival at 1-year(OR:1.799,95%CI:1.777 to 2.749,P3.2 to 2.949,P3.survival at 1-year(OR:2.669,95%CI:1.564 to 4.555,P3.0,95%CI:1.3.8 to 4.046,P=0.004).Subgroup analyses revealed that ethnicity,incidental GBC,sample size,and follow-up period were possible sources of *** was a low probability of publication bias for all outcomes except postoperative ***:Our findings indicated that LS statistically had better 2-year survival rates,less intraoperative bleeding,shorter hospitalization times,and lower rates of complications than ***,the superiority and even the safety of LS still remain an open question due to the impact of incidental GBC,unaccounted heterogeneity,publication bias,lymph node dissection,and port-site metastasis.

Quantifying the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and the armed conflict with Russia on Sentinel 5P TROPOMI NO_(2)changes in Ukraine

This study investigated variations in nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2))levels in Ukraine during two significant periods:the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020 and the armed conflict with Russia in *** and reprocessed Sentinel 5P data products were utilized for the analysis.A machine learning model was employed to generate a business-as-usual NO_(2)time series that accounted for meteorological *** the nine most populous cities in Ukraine,during the lockdown in 2020 we observed a moderation of increases in NO_(2)levels during the lockdown compared to the pre-lockdown *** at the same months during the conflict period in 2022,we identified much more significant reductions in NO_(2)level in these cities,averaging 12.1%for original and 18.1%for reprocessed *** our examination of major urban areas,we observed reductions in NO_(2)levels in areas surrounding coal power plants damaged or destroyed by the *** the major urban areas in Ukraine,we conclude that changes in daily anthropogenic activities due to the conflict-related events had more substantial impacts on NO_(2)levels than did COVID-19 lockdown.

Xuebijing improves intestinal microcirculation dysfunction in septic rats by regulating the VEGF-A/PI3./Akt signaling pathway

To develop porous organic frameworks,precise control of the stacking manner of two-dimensional porous motifs and structural characterization of the resultant framework are *** these points of view,porous molecular crystals formed through reversible intermolecular hydrogen bonds,such as;hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks(HOFs),can provide deep insight because of their high crystallinity,affording single-crystalline X-ray diffraction *** this study,we demonstrate that the stacking manner of hydrogen-bonded hexagonal network(HexNet)sheets can be controlled by synchronizing a homological triangular macrocyclic tecton and a hydrogen-bonded cyclic supramolecular synthon called the phenylene triangle.A structure of the resultant HOF was crystallographically characterized and revealed to have a large channel aperture of 2.4 *** HOF also shows thermal stability up to 290°C,which is higher than that of the conventional HexNet frameworks.

KGTLIR:An Air Target Intention Recognition Model Based on Knowledge Graph and Deep Learning

As a core part of battlefield situational awareness,air target intention recognition plays an important role in modern air *** at the problems of insufficient feature extraction and misclassification in intention recognition,this paper designs an air target intention recognition method(KGTLIR)based on Knowledge Graph and Deep ***,the intention recognition model based on Deep Learning is constructed to mine the temporal relationship of intention features using dilated causal convolution and the spatial relationship of intention features using a graph attention ***,the accuracy,recall,and F1-score after iteration are introduced to dynamically adjust the sample weights to reduce the probability of *** that,an intention recognition model based on Knowledge Graph is constructed to predict the probability of the occurrence of different intentions of the ***,the results of the two models are fused by evidence theory to obtain the target’s operational *** show that the intention recognition accuracy of the KGTLIRmodel can reach 98.48%,which is not only better than most of the air target intention recognition methods,but also demonstrates better interpretability and trustworthiness.

Jeneberang watershed is vital,particularly for people living in Gowa Regency(South Sulawesi Province,Indonesia),who benefit from its many *** and floods occur every year in the Jeneberang watershed,so it is imperative to understand the socio-economic vulnerability of this *** research aims to identify the vulnerability level of the Jeneberang watershed so that the government can prioritize areas with high vulnerability level and formulate effective strategies to reduce these the ***,this study was conducted in 12 districts located in the Jeneberang *** primary data were collected from questionnaires completed by community members,community leaders,and various stakeholders,and the secondary data were from the Landsat satellite imagery in 2020,the Badan Push Statistic of Gowa Regency,and some governmental *** socio-economic vulnerability variables were determined using the Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis(MCDA)method,and each variable was weighted and analyzed using the Geographical Information System(GIS).The study reveals that the levels of socio-economic vulnerability are affected by variables such as population density,vulnerable groups(disabled people,elderly people,and young people),road network and settlement,percentage of poor people,and productive land area in the Jeneberang ***,all of the 12 districts in the Jeneberang watershed are included in the medium vulnerability level,with the mean percentage of socio-economic vulnerability around 50.92%.The socio-economic vulnerability of Bajeng,Pallangga,and Somba Opu districts is categorized at high level,the socio-economic vulnerability of Bungaya,Parangloe,and Tombolo Pao districts is classified as medium level,and the remaining 6 districts(Barombong,Bontolempangan,Bontomarannu,Manuju,Parigi,and Tinggimoncong)are ranked as low socio-economic *** study can help policy-makers to formulate strategy that contributes t

The mechanism of block form diversification in urban morphological transformation:Case study of grid blocks in Beijing,China
