Background Protamination and condensation of sperm chromatin as well as DNA integrity play an essential role during fertilization and embryo *** some mammals,like pigs,ejaculates are emitted in three separate fractions:pre-sperm,sperm-rich(SRF)and post sperm-rich(PSRF).These fractions are known to vary in volume,sperm concentration and quality,as well as in the origin and composition of seminal plasma(SP),with differences being also observed within the SRF ***,whether disparities in the DNA integrity and chromatin condensation and pro-tamination of their sperm exist has not been *** This study determined chromatin protamination(Chromomycin A3 test,CMA_(3)),condensation(Dibromobi-mane test,DBB),and DNA integrity(Comet assay)in the pig sperm contained in the first 10 m L of the SRF(SRF-P1),the remaining portion of the sperm-rich fraction(SRF-P2),and the post sperm-rich fraction(PSRF).While chromatin protamination was found to be similar between the different ejaculate fractions(P>0.05),chromatin condensation was seen to be greater in SRF-P1 and SRF-P2 than in the PSRF(P=0.018 and P=0.004,respectively).Regarding DNA integrity,no differences between fractions were observed(P>0.05).As the SRF-P1 has the highest sperm concentra-tion and ejaculate fractions are known to differ in antioxidant composition,the oxidative stress index(OSi)in SP,calcu-lated as total oxidant activity divided by total antioxidant capacity,was tested and confirmed to be higher in the SRF-P1 than in SRF-P2 and PSRF(0.42±0.06 vs.0.23±0.09 and 0.08±0.00,respectively;Pndex,in addition,was observed to be correlated to the sperm concentration of each fraction(Rs=0.973;Pnd to differ between ejaculate fractions,SRF-P1 and SRF-P2 were observed to exhibit greater chromatin condensation than the *** could be related to the OSi of each fraction.

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome （P3S） is an inherited, autosomal dominant disorder distinguished by hamartomatous polyps in the gastrointestinal tract and pigmented mucocutaneous lesions. Prevalence of PJS is estimated from 1 in 8300 to 1 in 280000 individuals. PJS predisposes sufferers to various malignancies （gastrointestinal, pancreatic, lung, breast, uterine, ovarian and testicular tumors）. Bleeding, obstruction and intussusception are common complications in patients with P3S. Double balloon enteroscopy （DBE） allows examination and treatment of the small bowel. Polypectomy using DBE may obviate the need for repeated urgent operations and small bowel resection that leads to short bowel syndrome. Prophylaxis and polypectomy of the entire small bowel is the gold standard in PJS patients. Intraoperative enteroscopy （IOE） was the only possibility for endoscopic treatment of patients with PJS before the DBE era. Both DBE and IOE facilitate exploration and treatment of the small intestine. DBE is less invasive and more convenient for the patient. Both procedures are generally safe and useful. An overall recommendation for PJS patients includes not only gastrointestinal multiple polyp resolution, but also regular lifelong cancer screening （colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging or ultrasound of the pancreas, chest X-ray, mammography and pelvic examination with ultrasound in women, and testicular examination in men）. Although the incidence of PJS is low, it is important for clinicians to recognize these disorders to prevent morbidity and mortality in these patients, and to perform presymptomatic testing in the first-degree relatives of PJS patients.

This study aims to investigate the polar decomposition of tensors with the Einstein product for theﬁrst *** polar decomposition of tensors can be computed using the singular value decomposition of the tensors with the Einstein *** the following,some iterative methods forﬁnding the polar decomposi-tion of matrices have been developed into iterative methods to compute the polar decomposition of ***,we propose a novel parametric iterative method toﬁnd the polar decomposition of *** the obtained conditions,we prove that the proposed parametric method has the order of convergence *** every iteration of the proposed method,only four Einstein products are required,while other iterative methods need to calculate multiple Einstein products and one tensor inversion in each ***,the new method is superior in terms of efﬁciency ***,the numerical comparisons performed among several well-known methods,show that the proposed method is remarkably efﬁcient and accurate.

A nine cyclic peptide(TCP-1)showed excellent specificity for colon ***-1 binds with human tumor tissues at early stages and mice tumor with diameters of 1-4 mm,suggesting that TCP-1 may be used for early diagnosis of colon *** mechanism of the targeted binding of TCP-1 to colon cancer was also studied using immunoprecipitation,LC-MS and *** screening and identifying of the possible binding target proteins of TCP-1,keratin,typeⅡcytoskeletal 5 was speculated to be the specific binding target protein of TCP-1 in human tumor *** studies were conducted to investigate the target-mediated drug disposition of the new tumor-specific peptide by LC-MS/*** tissue distribution study showed that TCP-1 was found only in colon tumors(the target site)in tumor mice did not bind to any other *** TCP-1 to tumor markedly increased its removal rate from blood circulation but mildly extended its staying time in *** tumor mice,a lower AUC of TCP-1(reduced by almost 35%)and 2-fold higher clearance were found compared to that of normal *** proposed metabolic pathway of TCP-1 in the kidney was also determined using LC-MS^(n)-*** high specificity and low toxicity of the peptide may be caused by its extremely tight binding to the *** applications for future clinical use,including MRI and PET/CT were also explored,and this research may promote the development of colon cancer diagnostic technology research and provide new ideas and technical routes for tumor diagnostic technology.

BACKGROUnd Helicobacter pylori(***)is associated with the development of gastrointestinal disorders ranging from gastritis to gastric *** evidence of the association between metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis(MASH)and *** infection in the literature is ***,we aim to evaluate the risk of developing MASH in patients who have had a diagnosis of *** infection independently of any confounding *** To evaluate the risk of developing MASH in patients who have had a diagnosis of *** *** This study used a validated multicenter research database of over 360 hospitals across 26 healthcare systems across the United States from 1999 to *** regression analysis assessed the risk of developing MASH,adjusting for confounders including *** infection,obesity,type 2 diabetes,hypertension,dyslipidemia,and male gender.A two-sided P valuend all statistical analyses were performed using R version 4.0.2(R Foundation for Statistical Computing,Vienna,Austria,2008).RESULTS A total of 79476132 individuals were screened in the database and 69232620 were selected in the final analysis after accounting for inclusion and exclusion ***(14.30%),patients with hyperlipidemia(70.35%),hypertension(73.86%),diabetes mellitus type 2(56.46%),and obese patients(58.15%)were more common in patients with MASH compared to *** a multivariate regression analysis,the risk of MASH was increased in diabetics[odds ratio(OR):3.55;95%CI:3.48-3.62],obese(OR:5.93;95%CI:5.81-6.04),males(OR:1.49;95%CI:1.46-1.52),individuals with hyperlipidemia(OR:2.43;95%CI:2.38-2.49)and *** infection(OR:2.51;95%CI:2.31-2.73).CONCLUSION This is the largest population-based study in the United States illustrating an increased prevalence and odds of developing MASH in patients with *** infection after adjusting for risk factors.

Point clouds and RGB images are both critical data for 3D object detection. While recent multi-modal methods combine them directly and show remarkable performances, they ignore the distinct forms of these two types of data. For mitigating the influence of this intrinsic difference on performance, we propose a novel but effective fusion model named LI-Attention model, which takes both RGB features and point cloud features into consideration and assigns a weight to each RGB feature by attention ***, based on the LI-Attention model, we propose a 3D object detection method called image attention transformer network(IAT-Net) specialized for indoor RGB-D scene. Compared with previous work on multi-modal detection, IAT-Net fuses elaborate RGB features from 2D detection results with point cloud features in attention mechanism, meanwhile generates and refines 3D detection results with transformer model. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach outperforms stateof-the-art performance on two widely used benchmarks of indoor 3D object detection, SUN RGB-D and NYU Depth V2, while ablation studies have been provided to analyze the effect of each module. Bushfire-related building losses cause adverse economic impacts to countries prone to *** materials and components play a vital role in reducing these ***,due to high costs of experimental studies and lack of numerical studies,the heat transfer behavior of building’s external components in bushfire-prone areas has not been adequately *** large-scale heat transfer models are developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)tools,and the availability of CFD models for heat transfer in building components improves the understanding of the behavior of systems and systems of ***,this paper uses a numerical modeling approach to investigate the bushfire/wildfire resistance of external Light gauge Steel Framed(LSF)wall *** full-scale and small-scale heat transfer models were developed for the LSF wall *** results of six internal and external LSF wall systems with varying plasterboard thickness and cladding material were used to validate the developed *** study was then extended to investigate the bushfire resistance of seven external wall systems under two different bushfire flame zone *** results illustrate the significant effects of fire curves,LSF wall components and configuration on the heat transfer across the *** have shown 1)the favorable performance of steel cladding and Autoclaved Aerated Concrete(AAC)panels when used on the external side of wall systems and 2)the adequacy of thin-walled steel studs’load-bearing capacity during bushfire *** study has shown that most of the investigated external LSF walls could be reused with cost-effective retrofitting such as replacing the Fire Side(FS)steel cladding after bushfire ***,this study has advanced the understanding of the behavior of external light steel framed walls under bushfire flame zone conditions.
