Evolution of Diagenetic Fluid of the Dawsonite-Bearing Sandstone in the Jiyang Depression,Eastern China

Based on the petrology,isotope geochemistry and fluid inclusions analysis,we established the evolutionary mode of the diagenetic fluid of dawsonite-bearing sandstone in the Jiyang ***-bearing sandstone is characterized by double injection of CO_(2.and oil-gas in the Jiyang Depression that have experienced a relatively complex diagenetic fluid evolution *** diagenetic sequence of secondary minerals involves secondary enlargement of quartz,kaolinite,first-stage calcite,dawsonite,second-stage calcite,ferrocalcite,dolomite and *** charging in the dawsonite-bearing sandstone occurred at around 2.6–0 *** CO_(2.charging event occurred during Dongying tectonism,forming the Pingfangwang CO_(2.gas reservoir,which provided an abundant carbon source for dawsonite *** and oxygen isotopic compositions of dawsonite demonstrate that CO_(2.forming the dawsonite was of an inorganic origin derived from the mantle,and that water mediating the proc-ess during dawsonite precipitation was sequestered brine with a fluid temperature of 82..The evolutionary sequence of the diagenetic fluid in the dawsonite-bearing sandstone was:alkaline syngenetic fluids,weak alkaline fluids during organic acid forma-tion,acidic fluids in the early stage of CO_(2.injection,alkaline fluids in the late stage of CO_(2.injection,and weak alkaline fluids during oil and gas *** mode indicates an increase in-HCO_(3)because of the CO_(2.injection,and the loss of Ca^(2.)and Mg^(2.)due to the precipitation of carbonate ***,the evolutionary mode of diagenetic fluids is in good agreement with high HCO_(3)^(-),low Ca^(2.)and low Mg^(2.)composition of the present formation water in the dawsonite-bearing sandstone.

Potassium isotopes are a novel tracer for continental *** K isotope studies on chemical weathering generally targeted weathering profiles under a particular climate region,yet the effects of chemical weathering on K isotopes under different climatic backgrounds remain ***,little is known about the K isotope signatures of modern unconsolidated detrital ***,we report K isotopic data of surficial seafloor sediments from continental shelves along the east coast of China(ECC),as well as those around the tropical Hainan island in the northern South China *** ECC sediments have a relatively narrow distribution ofδ^(41)K(with reference to NIST3141a)values,which range from(-0.40±0.01)‰to(-0.57±0.04)‰,with an average of(-0.51±0.09)‰.By contrast,δ^(41)K values of Hainan offshore sediments display a larger variation,ranging from(-0.2.±0.07)‰to(-0.67±0.02.‰.Theδ^(41)K values of Hainan offshore sediments exhibit negative correlations with the chemical index of alteration(CIA),Al/K,Ti/K,and total iron(FeT),which underlines the control of chemical weathering on K isotopic signatures of detritus inputs into *** also measured Mg isotope compositions for the same samples;interestingly,the variability inδ^(2.)Mg of the samples is small(~0.2.‰)for all ECC and Hainan offshore sediments,andδ^(2.)Mg values do not show clear correlations with indexes of chemical *** study demonstrates the link between K isotopic variability of detrital sediments and climatic conditions including rainfall intensity,which indicates that K isotopes of the detrital component of marine sediments could be applied to study Earth’s climate in deep ***δ^(41)K values of the offshore detrital sediments are significantly less variable than those of pelagic marine sediments,highlighting the importance of distinguishing the effects of diagenesis and neoformation of clay minerals from continental weathering in attempts to study deep-time climate-weathering

The Tieshanlong ore field is an important part of the Nanling Range,which is famous worldwide for its W-Sn ***,the mineralization age of the Tieshanlong ore field is not well constrained,and our field investigation reveals that granitic emplacement occurred at different ***,previous studies have not distinguished these multiple stages of *** Tieshanlong granite complex is closely related to the Huangsha quartz vein-type W-Sn deposit and Tongling skarn-type Cu-W-Sn deposit in this *** field investigations and isotopic age analyses,this work studies the relationship between multistage magmatic activity and mineralization in the Tieshanlong ore ***-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb isotope analyses revealed that the first-and second-staged granites formed at 154.2.0.6 Ma(MSDW=1.4)and 151.2.0.4 Ma(MSDW=1.5),with zirconε_(Hf)(t)values ranging from-13.1 to-10.5 and from-14.7 to-11.1,*** data suggest that the Tieshanlong granite complex was derived from the partial melting of ancient crustal ***-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of wolframite and cassiterite reveals that W-Sn mineralization occurred at 160-150 Ma,which agrees well with the U-Pb dating results of the second-staged granite within analytical *** magmatic activity in this ore field can be divided into three stages:175-154 Ma,154-150 Ma and 150-145 *** quartz vein-and skarn-type W-Sn mineralization is closely related to second-staged fine-grained twomica granite,and formed earlier than skarn-type *** study establishes a metallogenic model for the Tieshanlong ore field,and this model has important practical significance for identifying concealed W-Sn(-Cu)deposits around other granitic complexes in the Nanling Range.

Study on the atmospheric heat engine efficiency and heat source characteristics of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in summer

The Gaoaobei tungsten-molybdenum deposit is a newly discovered large-scale quartzvein-type deposit in the Nanling metallogenic belt in South *** ore bodies are hosted in the Indosinian granites and the Cambrian Xiangnan Group slates and are controlled by NWW-oriented faults,which are obviously different from the“five-story building”model in southern Jiangxi *** magmatic rocks in the study area are dominated by medium-to coarse-grained biotite monzogranite,with a few NW-oriented fine-grained granite *** medium-to coarse-grained biotite monzogranite and fine-grained granite dykes have zircon U-Pb ages of 2.9.4±1.9 Ma(MSWD=1.5)and 164.9±3.3 Ma(MSWD=0.75),respectively,corresponding to the Indosinian and Yanshanian *** monzogranites have higher contents of FeO,CaO,K2.,P2.5,and TiO2.while the granite dykes have slightly higher contents of SiO2.Al2.3,MnO,and *** A/CNK values are 1.11-1.75 and 1.19-2.2.,and the contents of CIPW normative corundum are 1.71%-6.66%and 2.41%-9.50%,suggesting both the monzogranites and granite dykes are S-type *** total amount of rare earth elements in the monzogranites(from 84.7 ppm to 12. ppm)is slightly lower than that in the granite dykes(from 12. ppm to 133 ppm).The Eu/Eu*values range from 0.12.to 0.30 in monzogranites and from 0.0011 to 0.0013 in granite dykes,indicating the fine-grained granites underwent more intense fractional *** monzogranite and granite dykes have high 87Sr/86Sri values of 0.7169-0.7193 and 0.72.2.-0.72.80,lowεNd(t)values ranging from-10.2.to-9.6 and from-11.5 to-11.4,and TDM2.ages of 1835-1785 and 1957-1946 Ma,*** isotope data indicate their origin from the remelting of the Paleoproterozoic crustal *** with regional geology,it is concluded that the medium-to coarse-grained biotite monzogranite was formed in a post-collisional extensional *** addition,40Ar-39Ar dating of the greisen type tungsten-molybdenum ore gave

Constraints on what controls millennial-scale basin-wide denudation across mountain belts, Asia

The terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide dataset consisting of 12.310Be measurements of fluvial sediment samples across the Asian mountain belts is used to constrain the influence of climate,tectonics and topography on Earth-surface denudation processes.10Be-derived basin-wide denudation rates were recalculated using a Monte Carlo simulation approach that relied on pixel-by-pixel production *** rates derived span four orders of magnitude,from 7.4±0.7 mm kyr-1（1σ;Central Tibetan Plateau） to 9,646+777744mm kyr-1（1σ;Southern Tibetan Plateau）,with a median of 186 mm *** our results with the traditional basin-wide production rate scaling model using a centroid coordinate and mean elevation,suggests that 96.6%of production rates will be underestimated using the latter method,especially for basins with a large *** bias between both methods reaches as large as 40%,caused by basin hypsometry and the nonlinear scaling of production rate with elevation and *** of the correlations between uniformly recalculated denudation rates and tectonics,climate,topography,and rock lithology will facilitate the extrapolation of denudation rates in unknown basins using available *** the perspective of local scales,precipitation coupled with neotectonics-driven landslides is likely the most influential factor in subtropical Taiwan Island,while topography primarily constrains surface denudation rates in the eastern Tibetan Plateau within a narrow range of *** highland regions with glacier coverage,such as the Pamir,central and southern Tibetan Plateau,high denudation rates are affected by glaciation,whereas lower precipitation and high erosion base level may limit river incision and evolving relief in the Central Tibetan *** contrast to local-scale findings highlighting a dominant factor constraining denudation rate,our large-scale quantitative analyses across the Asian mountain belts finds that （1） topographic metrics including

The suitability assessment on site selection for bottom seeding scallop culture based on analytic hierarchy process

Scallop culture is an important way of bottom-seeding marine ranching,which is of great significance to improve the current situation of fishery ***,there are some problems in site-selection evaluation of marine ranching,such as imperfect criteria system,complex structure,untargeted criteria quantification,*** addition,no site-selection evaluation method of bottom-seeding culture areas for scallops is ***,we established a hierarchy structure model according to the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)theory,in which social,physical,chemical,and biological environments are used as main criteria,and marine functional zonation,water depth,current,water temperature,salinity,substrate type,water quality,sediment quality,red tide,phytoplankton,and zooplankton are used as sub-criteria,on which a multi-parameter evaluation system is set ***,the dualism method,assignment method,and membership function method were used to quantify sub-criteria,and a quantitative evaluation for the entire criteria was added,including the evaluation and analysis of two types of unsuitable environmental *** overall consideration in scallop yield,quality,and marine ranching construction objectives,the weight of the main criteria could be *** grades in the suitability corresponding to the evaluation result were divided,and the Python language was used to create an evaluation system for efficient calculation and intuitive presentation of the evaluation *** marine cases were simulated based on existing survey data,and the results prove that the method is feasible for evaluating and analyzing the site selection of bottom-seeding culture areas for scallops under various environmental *** proposed evaluation method can be promoted for the site selection of bottom-seeding marine *** study provided theoretical and methodological references for the site selection evaluation of other types of marine ranching.
