Although lithium metal is considered a promising anode for advanced Li-S and Li-air batteries,the uncontrolled dendrite growth and infinite volume change impede its practical ***,we report an ideal framework composed of carbonized bacterial cellulose(CBC)nanofibers,which shows intrinsic lithiophilicity to molten lithium without any lithiophilic surface *** wetting behavior of molten lithium can be significantly improved because its surface functional groups provide thermodynamical driving force,and the high surface roughness derived from nanocracks leads to rapid infusion in *** hybrid anode exhibits long cycle life up to 2.00 h and excellent deep stripping-platting capacity up to 2. mAh·cm^(-2..When the anode is assembled with LiFePO_(4) cathode,the full cell delivers a good cycling stability up to 700 *** is attributed to the intrinsic lithiophilic scaffold,which can not only lower the nucleation barrier of Li and provide uniform nucleation sites for stable Li stripping/plating,but also offer interspace to accommodate volume fluctuation of lithium during long *** work provides a new manner to achieve a series of intrinsic lithiophilic carbon skeletons based on the large family of biomass materials and organic materials.

A benchmark experiment on^(2.8)U slab samples was conducted using a deuterium-tritium neutron source at the China Institute of Atomic *** leakage neutron spectra within energy levels of 0.8-16 MeV at 60°and 12.°were measured using the time-of-flight *** samples were prepared as rectangular slabs with a 30 cm square base and thicknesses of 3,6,and 9 *** leakage neutron spectra were also calculated using the MCNP-4C program based on the latest evaluated files of^(2.8)U evaluated neutron data from CENDL-3.2.ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0,JENDL-5.0,and *** on the comparison,the deficiencies and improvements in^(2.8)U evaluated nuclear data were *** results showed the following.(1)The calculated results for CENDL-3.2.significantly overestimated the measurements in the energy interval of elastic scattering at 60°and 12.°.(2.The calculated results of CENDL-3.2.overestimated the measurements in the energy interval of inelastic scattering at 12.°.(3)The calculated results for CENDL-3.2.significantly overestimated the measurements in the 3-8.5 MeV energy interval at 60°and 12.°.(4)The calculated results with JENDL-5.0 were generally consistent with the measurement results.

Hyperpolarized^(3)He nuclei have emerged as a significantly important approach in quantum precision measurement techniques,with extensive applications in fundamental physics,magnetometry,metrology,and *** this study,we report on the design and implementation of a^(3)He polarization system at the China Mianyang Research Reactor(CMRR),utilizing the metastabilityexchange optical pumping(MEOP)*** employed a Merritt coil system consisting of four square coils to furnish a uniform holding *** deployed a 2.W fiber laser to pump the metastable^(3)He atoms and conducted free induction decay(FID)detection of the polarized^(3)He nuclei using both pickup coil and optical *** the optical method,we used a50 m W linearly polarized distributed Bragg reflector(DBR)laser as the *** applied transverse light absorption polarimetry to measure the absolute nuclear polarization of the ground-state^(3)*** have developed cell fabrication capabilities at the CMRR,and cells at various pressures ranging from 100 to 1000 Pa have been fabricated and *** a typical borosilicate cell with 100 Pa pressure,the absolute polarization is measured as Pn≈70%,and the transverse relaxation time is estimated as T2.0.5 ***,we constructed a few aluminosilicate cells,each carefully filled with pure^(3)He at a pressure of 100 ***,we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of their performance in the context of MEOP.

The extraction of radioactive minor actinides(An(Ⅲ))from lanthanides(Ln(Ⅲ))is an extremely impor-tant step in nuclear waste *** ligands with high-performance actinide-selectivity re-mains an essential *** works have reported that some polyazole based ligands exhibit good An(Ⅲ)/Ln(Ⅲ)separation ***,we first evaluated the effects of different polyazole side chains on the Am(Ⅲ)/Eu(Ⅲ)selectivity by exploring three pyridine-derived polyazole ligands L^(1),L^(2.and L^(3)with 1,2.4-triazole,1,2.3-triazole,and pyrazole side chains,respectively,using scalar relativistic theoretical *** coordination structures,bonding properties and thermodynamic behaviors of AmL(NO_(3))_(3)and EuL(NO_(3))_(3)complexes were investigated,which clarifies that the side chains do affect the electronic structure of ligand and its selectivity for Am(Ⅲ)/Eu(Ⅲ)***,L^(1)with 1,2.4-triazole side chains exhibited the highest selectivity for Am(Ⅲ)over Eu(Ⅲ)while the lowest complexation ability for metal ions among the three pyridine-derived polyazole ***,we designed a new ligand L^(4)con-taining 1,2.4-triazole side chains and a preorganized phenanthroline ***,such a new ligand was verified to show stronger complexation ability and higher selectivity for Am(Ⅲ)/Eu(Ⅲ)ions than L^(1).This work clarifies the complexation nature of polyazole based ligands with Am(Ⅲ)/Eu(Ⅲ)ions and provides design strategies for highly efficient polyazole based ligands for An(Ⅲ)/Ln(Ⅲ)separation.

The consistent three-body model reaction methodology(TBMRM)proposed by *** et al.[***.C 69,064313(2.04);***.C 73,044608(2.06);***.C 75,06432.(2.07)],which includes adopting the simple zero-range adiabatic wave approximation,constraining the single-particle potentials using modern Hartree-Fock calculations,and using global nucleon optical model potential(OMP)geometries,are widely applied in systematic studies of transfer *** this study,we investigate the influence of different nucleon OMPs in extracting spectroscopic factors(SFs)from(p,d)*** study covers 32.sets of angular distribution data of(p,d)reactions on four targets and a large range of incident energies(2.-2.0 MeV/nucleon).This study uses two semi-microscopic nucleon OMPs,i.e.,Jeukenne,Lejeune,and Mahaux(JLM)[***.C 16,80(1977);***.C 58,1118(1998)]and CTOM[***.C 94,034606(2.16)],and a pure microscopic nucleon potential,i.e.,WLH[***.12.,182.02.2.2.)].The results are compared with those using the phenomenological global optical potential KD02.***.A 713,2.1(2.03)].We find that the incident energy dependence of spectroscopic factors extracted from(p,d)reactions is evidently suppressed when microscopic OMPs are employed for ^(12.C,^(2.)Si,and *** addition,spectroscopic factors extracted using the systematic microscopic optical potential CTOM based on the Dirac-Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory are more in line with the results obtained from(e,e′p)measurements,except for 16O and ^(40)Ca at high energies(>100 MeV),necessitating an exact treatment of double-magic *** results obtained by using the pure microscopic optical potential,WLH,based on the EFT theory show the same trend as those of CTOM but are generally *** JLM potential,which relies on simplified nuclear matter calculations with old-fashioned bare interactions,produces results that are very similar to those of the phenomenological potential *** results indicate that modern

The neutron-induced total cross sections of natural lead have been measured in a wide energy range(0.3 eV-2. MeV)on the back-streaming white neutron beamline(Back-n)at the China Spallation Neutron *** energy was determined by the neutron total cross-section spectrometer using the time-of-flight technique.A fast multi-cell fission chamber was used as the neutron detector,and a 10-mm-thick high-purity natural lead sample was employed for the neutron transmission *** on-beam background was determined using Co,In,Ag,and Cd *** excitation function of ^(nat)Pb(n,tot)reaction below 2. MeV was calculated using the TALYS-1.96 {2.-reaction modeling *** present results were compared with previous results,the evaluated data available in the five major evaluated {2. data libraries(i.e.,ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-5,CENDL-3.2.and BROND-3.1),and the theoretical calculation *** agreement was found between the new results and those of previous experiments and with the theoretical curves in the corresponding *** measurement obtained the neutron total cross section of natural lead with good accuracy over a wide energy range and added experimental data in the resonance energy *** provides more reliable experimental data for {2. engineering design and {2. data evaluation of lead.

During the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant,it is important to consider the retrieval of resolidified debris both in air and underwater *** the subsequent retrieval of debris from the reactor building,the resolidified debris must be cut into smaller pieces using various cutting *** the cutting process,aerosol particles are expected to be generated at the submicron *** has been noted that such aerosols sizing within the Greenfield gap(0.1-1μm)are difficult to remove effectively using traditional spraying ***,to improve the aerosol removal efficiency of the spray system,a new aerosol agglomeration method was recently proposed,which involves injecting water mist to enlarge the sizes of the aerosol particles before removing them using water *** this study,a series of experiments were performed to clarify the proper spray configurations for effective aerosol scavenging and to improve the performance of the water *** experimental results showed that the spray flow rate and droplet characteristics are important factors for the aerosol-scavenging efficiency and performance of the water *** results obtained from this study will be helpful for the optimization of the spray system design for effective aerosol scavenging during the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi plant.

Interconnector is a critical component to construct solid oxide cells (SOCs) stack. Oxidation of metallic interconnectors and Cr poisoning caused by oxidation are important factors that lead to long-term performance degradation of SOCs. Coating on the interconnector surface is an important approach to inhibit the oxidation and Cr migration of the interconnector. Herein, (La0.75Sr0.2.)0.95MnO3–δ (LSM) and Mn1.5Co1.5O4 (MCO) are used to fabricate the coatings of interconnector. Two advanced thermal spray technology, atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) and low-pressure plasma spray (LPPS), are adopted for the coating preparation. The electrochemical performance, rising and cooling cycle stability, and Cr diffusion inhibition performance of the coatings are tested and evaluated. The result indicates that MCO can generate more uniform and denser coatings than LSM. In addition, MCO coatings prepared by LPPS shows the best electrochemical performance, rising and cooling cycle stability, and Cr diffusion inhibition. The initial area specific resistance (ASR) is 0.002. Ω·cm2.at 800 °C. After 4 cooling cycle tests, the ASR increases to 0.0032.Ω·cm2.but lower than other samples. Meanwhile, the relative intense of Cr at the interface of SUS430 with MCO coatings fabricated by LPPS is lower than that of MCO fabricated by APS after 4 rising and cooling cycle operations, showing more favorable Cr diffusion inhibition performance.

The microscopic global nucleon–nucleus optical model potential(OMP)proposed by Whitehead,Lim,and Holt,the WLH potential(Whitehead et al.,Phys Rev Lett 12.:182.02.2.2.),which was constructed in the framework of many-body per-turbation theory with state-of-the-art nuclear interactions from chiral effective field theory(EFT),was tested with(p,d)transfer reactions calculated using adiabatic wave *** target nuclei included both stable and unstable nuclei,and the incident energies reached 2.0 *** results were compared with experimental data and predictions using the phenomenological global optical potential of Koning and Delaroche,the KD02.***,we found that the micro-scopic WLH potential described the(p,d)reaction angular distributions similarly to the phenomenological KD02.potential;however,the former was slightly better than the latter for radioactive *** average,the obtained spectroscopic factors(SFs)using both microscopic and phenomenological potentials were similar when the incident energies were below approxi-mately 12. ***,their difference tended to increase at higher incident energies,which was particularly apparent for the doubly magic target nucleus 40Ca.

Symmetrical solid oxide cells （SSOCs） are very useful for energy generation and conversion. To fabricate the electrode of SSOC, it is very time-consuming to use the conventional approach. In this work, we design and develop a novel method, extreme heat treatment （EHT）, to rapidly fabricate electrodes for SSOC. We show that by using the EHT method, the electrode can be fabricated in seconds （the fastest method to date）, benefiting from enhanced reaction kinetics. The EHT-fabricated electrode presents a porous structure and good adhesion with the electrolyte. In contrast, tens of hours are needed to prepare the electrode by the conventional approach, and the prepared electrode exhibits a dense structure with a larger particle size due to the lengthy treatment. The EHT-fabricated electrode shows desirable electrochemical performance. Moreover, we show that the electrocatalytic activity of the perovskite electrode can be tuned by the vigorous approach of fast exsolution,deriving from the increased active sites for enhancing the electrochemical reactions. At 900℃, a promising peak power density of 966mWcm-2.s reached. Our work exploits a new territory to fabricate and develop advanced electrodes for SSOCs in a rapid and high-throughput manner.
